bro..if you wont mind ,whats your age?
iam a 17 year old girl from india and i have certainely reached a great consistency for my morning routine(that i got to know from hamza, and your videos include that too,not critizing you ,i hope you get what i mean)
its for the first time iam seeing someone almost my age do this self self improvement stuff. cause trust me boi, all my friends are losers.
i feel so grateful that people of my generation are improving cuz i never saw one irl. thank you for opening up a youtube channel.
although i started my morning routine with exercise first thing, then 15 min of meditation, gratitude journaling and then cold shower ,which worked pretty well for me ,but it was hard in the beginning to follow.
yours just looks perfect, wouldve been great if i found this earlier

      My advice is this,
When you wake up, as soon as you realize you’re awake, start moving.
Swing your legs out of bed, and use the leverage to sit up.
The idea comes from how we can’t get up in the morning but you can get up to pee at 3 AM with no problem.
When you get out of your bed, it becomes your enemy until it’s bedtime.
Last thing, don’t lay in bed on your phone, your brain will eventually start associating being in bed with being on your phone and it’ll become much harder to sleep.

I find I am most productive in the very middle of the night, sometimes being stricken with fervent motivation and energy.
I've never thought my mornings were that bad, but perhaps I am underestimating the power of the morning. My current plan is waking up early enough to make my body _think_ it's the middle of the night, thus making my morning the most productive part of my day.

Ah, had forgotten about this comment!
Didn't quite turn out like I wanted. My own sleep cycle trumps... Well, actual time, so I unfortunately haven't been able to trick my brain. But waking up early still works. Feels pretty good and I get to get shit done.
My brain still naturally draws me towards being active in the night though. And unfortunately, I the morning those fervent nighttime motivation bursts remain ever-elusive.
Perhaps it will change with time, and perhaps it'll work for you. We're all different.
Perhaps the night is simply when I am meant to be. If so, then so be it.

In the book "Why we sleep" by Matthew Walker, He says something along the lines of sleep is the foundation of good health.
    He couldn't be more right.
People usually imagine Sleep, Exercise and a healthy diet as this sort of triangle to achieve good health but without sleep the rest cannot function properly
you can run 10km every day and eat a healthy diet for 1 week straight but if you only sleep 5-6 hours or not sleep/wake up at the same time within that week you'd be decimated.
Circadian rhythms and the quality of your sleep are some of best things to learn about when it comes to resting.

What really sucks for me is that I live in a place where the sun doesn't even begin to rise until like 7 am, especially during the winter due to hills blocking the sun, I've even seen an 8am sunrise before which was crazy. Today I tried waking up at 6 am, partially cause of this video and partially because school started, I went outside, ready to get my sunlight exposure.
Saddest 20 minutes of my life. Cold, damp, dark. Tried meditating which I do a lot but the cold made it nearly impossible. Not in any way your fault or anything lmao just something a bit sucky for me. If I wake up at like 6:45 maybe it would work? But then I don't have much time to do other stuff. You have to adapt the routine. I tried this routine too in summer and the sun was already up at 5am. Now the season is changing and the sun will rise later and later and soon when I will have to wake up for college it will still be dark. And I'd still have to go to college and won't have time to get that sweet sweet sunrising sunlight. So in order to get my 15 min of sun what do I do ? I just go outside when I have the chance to get that sweet sunlight. Instead of taking the bus to go to my college I walk and get the sunlight on the way. If I have to take the bus, I go walk outside in between breaks.
And even if you don't have any sun, I found that just getting fresh air and walking around is enough. Do you have some fauna near your area ?

i watched it around a month ago so i want to come back and reflect how i progressed
I had a goal to wake up at 3 am to study everyday, which i did but i soon realised that it was getting very tiring and i needed to make my mornings more peaceful
i watched the sunrise for the first time even though i have had countless allnighters i never spent time to appreciate how beautiful outside really is, it was hard to maintain that routine, but i did it!! i am proud to say i have been consistent
i lessened the amount of pressure i had put myself through and enjoyed my mornings more
instead of cold showers, i went for long hot showers or baths, showering is something i find peace in and i cant really end it in 10-15 min
so I spend around 45 min in the bath, it made me really happy
honestly i always felt guilty I took so much time, but I have come around that thought and focussed on what made me happy
I ate breakfast regularly and slept early around 9 pm? (usually lol)
I even went on walks, I have done my best to reduce my screen time and even media content like music ( i am a hardcore music listener ) it was really hard to do that but i did, and I am quite proud of myself from how far i have come, i have done this finally and it wasnt that easy, i have been watching self improvemnt videos for as long as i can remember, but I couldnt find myself to actually do the task, or i made some effort tried to stay commited and failed in the span of 3 days lol
this continued for a long time, and I wont say i just randomly woke up and decided to change my life around
i had to work towards it and it was really fucking hard let me just say that, to just allow myself to live a normal healthy life instead of constantly digging my own grave in the pile of books, school is still very stressful but i have come far, I know my worth and i am working towards even achieving more
i dont think many would read this longgg para, but i hope to whoever is reading this to have a good day

Its good to remember consistency doesn't work for everybody, I wake up between 5 and 9:30 in the summer, and I go to bed when I'm tired, (unless of course I'm going out with friends, than I just accept that most of the next day is forfeit) and in the winter since its darker I usually sleep for longer because I use the sun to wake up. I don't have a strict routine but I do try to get something done in the morning because I know Its when I'm most productive, whether it be cleaning in some way, working out, or working on one of my projects. Usually when I try to follow a morning routine I'm good for like 3 days max and then it makes me miserable because I either didn't get enough sleep because my brain just didn't like me that night or because I gotta start out doing something I don't wanna and that just makes me dread starting the day. Building new habits it is super hard for me because I'll be going good and skip one day and it completely breaks it, so I just do what feels right so I don't end up feeling guilty and lowering my self worth.
Some people really befit from structure, others thrive in chaos

I love the sunrise, there was a point in my life where the only thing i could look forward to was watching the sun rise, for a year i basically only got up so i could watch the sunrise every morning. Looking back, those were probably some of the best mornings and most productive days ive ever had.
Good morning playlist + hot drink + sunrise= decent day.

Thanks bro, i might take the cold shower the first thing in the morning to keep me energized before going to the gym as I have been recently skipping it + i just like cold showers lol. (I mean they do hurt a lot but yea that's a beauty of it, same thing with me hitting the legs)
Btw can you make a video on how to be fast at eating or anything in general, eating slow has been really f-king up my schedule (i take 1 to 1 30 hours to eat) and just not procrastinating in general, maybe getting hit in the face with facts will help me better. Anyways great video!
(Also I respect the no shitting grindset🗿)

Do you want to know whether waking up at 6 is efficient? If so, you can follow my journey this week.
    *Day 1*
I got up at 6.10. I didn't feel great because I couldn't fall asleep at night. However when I took a cold shower, it got better.
    *Day 2*
Today, I woke up exactly at 6. It was easier than on the first day.
    *Day 3*
I overslept a bit and got up at 6.20. Nevertheless, I studied quite a lot in the morning.
    *Day 4*
I really overslept and got up at 8.30. I was just really tired and it would do no good for me to wake up at 6. But I learned a lesson and went to bed earlier that day. If you can't wake up, just go to sleep at a proper hour (like Ruff mentioned).
    *Day 5*
Got up at 6.10 and felt really fresh and energized.
    *Day 6*
I again couldn't wake up on time, because I was walking all day and needed a lot of rest. However I plan to stick to waking up at 6, even though I didn't manage today.
    *Day 7*
I sccessfully got up at 6, read book for a while and studied. I really appreciate waking up earlier...

i used to have a pretty bad morning routine but its gotten so much better and recently its been pretty good. Life has been a little too good to me, i now get 7 hours of sleep on days i dont bake and sell at my school and i take cold showers every morning. I just got my new iphone 14 pro max and its really showing me how much baking can do for me as a career. Im so motivated to work harder and im excited for my future man

Guys, do not rate your self worthiness by how productive you are, people of this generation keep trying to build their identity based on what other ppl, who seems to have a perfect life, act like. Instead, try finding you purpose, pursue your dreams and do not waste your time thinking about stuff that make you feel bad, (that's smth real important: Not every thought you have is real, so stop reminiscing bad stuff )

    6 - 610 : wake up + cold shower (note, optimal bedtime at 9/10pm)
    610 - 630 : sunlight exposure (watch the sunrise 🌅)
    630 - 650 : exercise
    650 - 7 : goals
    7 - 9 : study-time🤓

Yeah waking up early is probably the best thing you can do tbh. Win the morning, win the day.
The things with meditation that I've found really helps, is do it in front of a window with sunlight or get one of those 10k lux lights that emulates sun. Keeps me very alert while meditating - I talk about about this on my channel but hope that helps! Let me know if you give it a try!
