Stealing tips is the lowest anyone can get. I feel bad for everyone who worked for that horrific example of a restaurant.
Is 8 to 14 dollars per hour a good wage in the US? Is it really more than waiters normally do in places that rely on tips?
I'm asking because in Europe tips aren't mandatory, you only give a tip when the server goes beyond, is outstanding and you were particularly pleased. But they have a decent salary so they don't rely on tips to live, it's a pleasant extra when it happens, and it motivates them to do better.

Well the show is quite old (probably not generating much revenue) and this is a way to get some revenue from youtubes ads. Basically they're recycling clips/episodes.

I actually have grandparents who live in Arizona not in scotsville but near scotsville and they ended up trying out that restaurant to see for themselves and they said the food was not so good, very garlicky, sweet, and salty. They also said that they heard a lot of yelling in the kitchen.

I personally think both these people want the attention. They create conflict and exxagerate and make issues so much worse then they need to be. They can't accept criticism therefore they can't accept that they might be flawed or that they really are the main issues in their own business. Even the way they talk to each other, it's an awful mess. I would say ship em to therapist but these kinds of people need to accept they need help or even just recognize their problems before confronting them. Hurts a lot to see tbh. Who knows what shit fueled all that reactivity and negativity, but it doesnt excuse at all how they do business, how they treat PAYING CUSTOMERS, and especially Gordon. These people frustrate me but I still sincerely hope something can shift and help them realize they need to be better. Still hard to believe sometimes that people like this live

This whole episode with the one he visited the restaurant is pretty self-explanatory of why Ramsay stopped helping these Kitchen Nightmares
It was cuz he wanted to enjoy food as he said in an interview and not to get foodpoisend. He said needs to take like 4 5 Pills a day so ye thats 1 reason too.

And many restaurants ended up shutting down after few weeks or months after being aired. About 90% of restaurants shut down after being aired in kitchen nightmares

This is true, so many of the restaurants on kitchen nightmares would instantly revert to their shit ways and either run their business into the ground or would ride the coattails of Gordon’s notoriety without putting any effort in, I think the only restaurant that really was a success and that had an owner that wasn’t deranged was Lido’s, as the owner went on to open two more restaurants and became immensely successful.
At the end of the day it wasn’t worth it for Gordon to keep sinking money, time, effort, and his own reputation to help people who didn’t deserve his help.

Like the reporter will ask her one question and she’ll be talking for like 10 minutes. Amy seems like the type of person who just talks over everyone just to get her points and opinions in the conversation before the topic changes.

Servers keep 96% of their tips.
4% goes to busser, food runners, host.
Since the pandemic servers used to make $2.13/hr plus tips. Now $7.25 plus tips. $7.25 is minimum wage here. The owners actually care about their employees. I’d love to get them on this show.
There’s several employees who have stolen money and sea food and steaks and the owners give them 2nd chances 100x’s. Two years ago when then pandemic ended, they could have gone back to regular wages.
This episode i so want to show to our employees so that they appreciate what great people they work for.
The owners have a menu if you’re working a regular shift of a free meal to eat there or take home. If you work a double shift you get two meals.
