The majority of us, Latinas with pear-shaped will always emphasize the thickness part of ourselves. That’s why we wear whatever we want .It’s part of our culture to really emphasize the thickness in what we have. There’s no shame just a blessing we share.
You totally right! Jeans is a very serious subject on the north of México. Cuz is super important that this looks rounded and up! A bad jeans is the one who made shape like a diaper, down or squater, camel toe, or if this come inside of the ass. I learned this cuz my aunts teach me. Look a pretty ass is not to attract man is a signature of feminine on cow boys style. Of course I’m talking only of Mexico north zone. America is huge and all style must have there own name and signature.
I agree. I was just thinking it Why do i have to wear something to broaden my shoulders to balance out my pear shape. I’m not hourglass shaped. As long as my clothes are not tight, I don’t mind showing my pear curves
I’m so glad you said this . I’ve noticed it with some Latino celebrities I’ve made a few videos about how to dress or not being Pear Shaped As I am I always say it’s ok to embrace Your curves
The pear shape references were hard to find. Most women showed in the video are super-model hourglass types., and those have totally different problems, but finding fitting clothing is not one of them. The average Wallmart pear mom is more a true pear: hip size > waist size >= chest size.
Agreed - Kim Kardashian is the farthest from a pear and JLo is border line. They both have strong wide shoulders in line with hips. Kim K hips are manufactured so that’s a whole other issue
I came here to say the same thing, only ...not sugar coated. 🗣WHERE ARE THE MODELS THAT ARE AT LEAST 220 POUNDS?!?!? The average woman in America is a 14-16. The women shown are all approximately like 9's at the most.
I love Rihanna is more relax and I think is the best repretarion of pear shape. Not hide her volumen play whit the clothes. Sometimes romantic, business woman, street style, classic. Relaxed, casual. Is more easy the inspiration
It seems that your goal is to advise on how to 'hide' the volumptuous bottom. Yet the contrary is that 'WE' (I'm African, with a nice pear shape) love to emphasize or enjoy that part of us as it looks thick and beautiful... I guess this video is not for me.
Thank you so much for sharing your perspective! I absolutely agree that embracing and celebrating our natural shapes is important. Everyone has their own style preferences, and there’s no single standard for beauty. This video is meant to offer tips for those who might want to create a more balanced look if they feel one part of their body is disproportionate. But I love your inclusive approach and the confidence you bring to embracing curves-it’s truly inspiring! Enjoy what makes you feel beautiful, and thank you again for your thoughtful comment!
What's your biggest challenge when dressing for you body shape?
Definetely getting a proper inner leg length en shoe size.

Absolutely love the coat you are wearing! and the *suluxs* bag !
I was just thinking the same thing. We (in my case a black woman) are not trying to de-emphasize the thickness. We know it's our gift.
I agree. I was just thinking it

You offer sage advice. Highlighting the face , collarbone and shoulders helps all body types.
Yes indeed. We can apply some of these tips even when we try to distract from other problematic areas of the body. Thanks for watching 😘

Poor choice of models. Giedre's videos are far more practical, helpful, and realistic.
Most pear shaped have no waist!
No, pear is an hour glass with more sand at the bottom.
I am definitely a pear. I have a small waist, wide hips, and narrow shoulders.
I am pear and my waist is small. My hips are huge.
What? is actually the opposite, pear shapes have accentuated waist.
