Just brewed my first batch today. Omg it's Soo good. It's the first time iv had "sweet" tasting coffee. I love y'alls coffee and always make my first batch like in your videos and dial it in before changing anything so I can get what is intended to be tasted
I use the james hoffmann plastic 02 w/ glass decanter method. basically double the quantity with same bloom (which i agitate) and brew time (swirl and drop).
We love TWW! The water in our cafe and lab are built to a very similar profile. That's a definite mark for consistency and excellency. If you're a little more curious about brewing water, feel free to check out this link instagram.com/tv/CAyhulwJmhq/? for an IG chat between TWW and ONYX.
@@OnyxCoffeeLab Huge fan of yours. The issue I'm running into is I don't know which grind setting to use. Can you just provide a sheet for each coffee for baratza encore? That case I won't worry about getting any coffee from you. Right now I've only tried 3 flavors because you talk about the size for them on baratza encore. Also, I bought Encore because in your previous videos you talked about the size on this one. Thanks!
The 03 is just a larger brewer. For this amount of coffee it's just unnecessary mass that takes away heat. This recipe works in an 01, 02, or 03, but be sure to preheat an 03 well!
I appreciate the timer on the side lol
It's the little things.

Did you brew that with the Tropical Weather? Hope you enjoyed.
If you wanted to brew 20 or 30g, could you just increase the water proportionally and use the exact same method?
How should I adjust pour times for a Melitta pourover cone?
What's your recommendation for using chemex?
You'll find a Chemex video on our channel. We recommend the Chemex for larger brew recipes due to its larger size and thick filter.
Can you share a recipe for 20 grams? Appreciate it.
What would be the number of clicks on the comandante
I'd start at 21
What type of water do you use? Typically I use RO treated with TWW. It gives me consistency, but I don't know that it is the best option.

Where should I start with the fellow ode for grind size?
I would start at 1 2/3. Hopefully that achieves close to our target drain time in this video.
Thanks for the video! What's the recommend TDS for this recipe?
1.35-4 is our target for most drip. Expect higher for nicer (gesha, sidra, anaerobic) coffees.
What grind setting would you say this is on the Encore? Like a 10?
I'd start at 11. 10-12 is where I start on the V60.
@@OnyxCoffeeLab RAD! Thank you!
