“Wow, this video beautifully highlights the profound impact of compassion on our lives and communities. It’s amazing how small acts of kindness can create ripples of positive change. The stories shared here remind me of the saying, ‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind.’ Compassion not only helps others but also enriches our own lives, fostering deeper connections and greater empathy. Thank you for shedding light on this often-overlooked superpower! 🌟”
When feeling overwhelmed, take a short walk/hike. I encourage all of you to go sit on a stump in the woods, any path is fine. Listen to the birds sing. Breathe the goodness which the trees and plants offer us. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine in trees, passing time in your own company cannot be better for the mind.
I’m glad it resonates with you! Your commitment to veganism and the principles that matter to you are inspiring. For more reminders and insights, check out Stoic Mind!
Thank you for your enlightening programs , perhaps philosophers, stoics , writers and others should be in charge of states and then perhaps there wouldn’t be such things as wars , starvation, destruction and other tragedies
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” ~Albert Einstein
Proverbs 12:10"A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal, But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel." Animals and plants 🪴 have a symbiotic relationship. Both are food, plus there is not one without the other.
Vegetarians: All lives deserve respect. Meat eaters: So, what, vegetable lives don’t matter? Cuz I thought the limit of our compassion wasn’t the estimate of a life form’s intelligence. Economics is the only logical argument for vegetarianism.
Humans are the only animals to enslave breed 80, billion land animals per year and slaughter them. Factory farms are breeding grounds for the mutation and spread of viruses, pollution, and unimaginable suffering to these beautiful sentient beings. Humans do not need to eat other animals to live - just like gorillas or cows or horses who eat only plants.
Reflect on how to create personal boundaries so that you may continue to act with kindness without being harmed. If in immediate danger of being harmed (mentally, verbally, or any othet way), feel free to choose to physically remove yourself from the situation/person. No explanation is necessary. You may simply hang up or walk away.

Thank you Ryan! For being a voice to the voiceless, let's be kind to all kinds 😊
This has been the best 7 minutes and 45 seconds of the day so far.
This needs to be played on speakers across the USA. We need leaders like Ryan ❤
We can't remember this enough. Kindness is free, no scarcity at all, only withheld. Thank you

Great video Ryan. I can't help but wonder if this video was because of what you found left on the road near your home recently.

Amazing
Proverbs 12:10"A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal,
But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel."
Animals and plants 🪴 have a symbiotic relationship. Both are food, plus there is not one without the other.
Been vegan for 8 years now. ❤
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, it doesn't save animals from being eaten or mistreated, but damages your body
Very nice
This was a wonderful start in the day. Thank you very much.
I look forward to your posts every day. You help make life better. God bless you 🙏❤️
so what's the summary?
Eat meat to achieve optimum health, especially fatty ruminant meat. No plants are needed

You and me both. Just a little difficult getting a paycheck to make ends meet while doing so… but I’m not giving up ❤
Many great thinkers promote kindness to animals. Vegan 🌱 for the animals (and the planet and one’s health)
If there is anything I do not have empathy for it is people without empathy. Oh and ticks. F ticks.
Expand your sphere of moral consideration. G O V E G A N ! !

I'm grateful that I could thrive as a vegan. I'm sympathetic to those who couldn't, while suffering from cognitive dissonance.

How do we teach this to animals? Animals who eat animals? Some animals like Hamster eats their own young.

@DailyStoic ever done a video using the example of Sisyphus? Been keen to hear your thoughts
my kindness has only caused people walking all over me. what does stoic says to do in this situation?
To learn from their behaviors what you do not want to emulate in your own.
Smile and tell them goodbye.
Separate yourself from toxic people.

I can't like anything that advocates an inherently unhealthy lifestyle, and veganism for many is tantamount to suicide.
