As a Jeep guy, these things are such a dream of mine. I would love to drive one and just feel how raw it is. Also the color on this Jeep is my favorite of the newer jeeps. Any man who isn’t comfortable driving a pink Jeep doesn’t deserve a 392.
This V8 may be a bit old and outdated, as modern turbocharged 6-cylinder engines can and do produce more power more efficiently with fewer emissions. But they cannot beat the sound(!), emotions and cool factor of a naturally aspirated V8 like this one.
@@TheTopher I have heard so many bad things about modern JLs and JTs with the manuals. They had a recall because they clutches weren’t good enough for the power. So their solution was to derate the engine instead of upgrade the clutch. Id LOVE a 392 manual but I wouldn’t trust one.
@@TheTopheri think it has manual options. i mean we use paddle shifters anyways, but yea some enthusiasts would like a manual. i just dont think it would be for this, but yeah jeep needs to add a manual for at least something so maybe this
My friend bought a 2023 and had nothing but issues with it from the get go. Lemon laws eventually came into effect and he got a new one. Then sold it for more than he paid lol. 6 months of hell but got to drive it for free basically for a bit.
I was so close to pulling the trigger on one of these things but I can't believe how expensive Jeeps have gotten. $75k for a 4 cylinder/6 cylinder Rubi, and 100k for this thing? That puts you in Porsche Cayenne/MB territory, not really a comparison but let's be honest, you're not going to offload with this thing although I've been with folks in the woods that do. I think his comment about getting thees in the 80k range is correct, the 392s I was looking at in the summer/fall are still sitting there. Despite all this, I so want one.
We can have a 100k off-road vehicle with a 392 hemi and shaped like a brick wall but we can’t have a 6 cylinder sedan because it’s bad for the environment??
I am by no means a Jeep person but I would buy this in the drop of a hat if the price was closer to $60-$65,000. I test drove one and it was like driving a monster truck. Its a really fun truck and videos do not do the exhaust justice. It sounds amazing in person.
with all the issues these have can anyone really justify the 91K price tag, like even if these were 30-40k I still dont think its worth the stress they cause, my friend has a 2021 wrangler I think his driven it 15,000 miles and has more electrical issues than any other car he owns.
They got the CON part right. The legend of Tovares continues... The swaybars aren't the only thing with a disconnect. Polaris is starting to look like its cheaper alternative.
A lot of people don't realize you are actually buying the top of a line, all features included Jeep + the 392. There is literally no features you can take off except the warn wench, and the convertible top.
It’s very impressive a Jeep of this size could have such a BIG engine!! Dare someone to modify it with portal axels, and it will TRULY BE A BIG BOY MONSTER TRUCK WITH A BIG V8!!!
Id pay 60k... anything over that for a jeep is plain dumb. And they wonder why they are losing money as manufacturers. Producing appealing cars for prices only the top 10% of Americans can responsibly afford.
$91k is hilarious 😂

agreed. these are super cool and i’m a bronco guy lmao. i’d definitely grab this in pink if the bronco didn’t exist for me 😂
I just can't imagine paying $100k for a Jeep. Or even $80k.
or even 50K
Or even $40k
Or even 30k TF
More perfect union just posted a video about jeep. Last CEO left after firing folks and got his 40mil and dipped.
In India the standard rubicon with 2.0 4 cylinder we pay 100k$
Coming out of a 500hp 2019 8v Audi rs3, I daily this rig and I have to say best choice of my whole life no joke. It’s so danm fun
I am actually impressed you made it the entire review without it breaking down. 😂
$106k for a stelantis product 😂
Shame you can't own a Mopar like this without having to worry about getting it stolen. Complete negligence on FCA.
We wuz jeep drivers and shietsssss
Same with a lot of nice cars man
I had mine almost stolen within 2 months of buying it. I caught him after he broke my driver side window and he ran off.

Chris, I learned recently that Defender offers a 500 hp V8 in their two door model. Maybe Jeep should do the same. 🤔
I'm sure they thought about it. One thing I forgot to say is that this needs a manual!

392 better

My ‘22 hasn’t had a single issue in 2.5 years.
One heck of a ballsy color for a vehicle with that DNA.
Almost 100k for a Heep?! I can't believe Heep is still in business let alone selling a nearly 100k model.
This one is over as optioned

It makes a lot of noise but barely accelerates.
4.0 seconds to 60, and a 12.8 1/4 at 104. Plenty quick.
Have you ever driven a wrangler? I would not want to drive one any quicker than how he's driving in this video.

SUV emissions are regulated differently from other cars. Blame it on the auto and oil industries.
nice review , the vehicle is waaay overpriced !!

Obviously waiting a year or so if you really want a 24, the 21's are already at that price.

Is it cool? Yes. Does it present every aspect of why Stellantis is currently failing? Also yes.

Perfect car for a modern girl for her coffee trip. It even has a pink color!!!
Stupid pricing. 6.4 adds 40k of value to a base Rubicon? Gtfo. Brand new scat wide bodies go for less.
PLEASE do a bronco raptor vs 392 rubicon review. would really like to hear ur honest comparison!

these will be worth a LOT of money in the future
that sounds WILD.
I miss driving this car so much
you should test a ram power wagon 2500, cheaper and has better off road capability
I love these things, they’re just not comfortable enough for long highway hauls
where is the trail located?

Portals would be the jam on one of these!
Ordered 74 Weld Portals for my 392. 20k, but well worth it!
i want one but not for 91k waiting few years to get a used 20th anniversary for a good price
you can get a slightly used g wagon for that price. this is too expensive. even bronco raptor is overpriced. defender v8 or huumer ev territory
I remember subTophers video on this, turned him into an absolute hooligan
$91k for a jeep is a joke tbh
Does it have Xtreme Recon Package ?
Yep, that's now standard for 2024
My chiropractor recommends these as well😂
I want one so bad but ant paying 100k for one I can do 45k
Insurance is as much a car payment
I was excited for this video until he said the price tag.
Ultimate barbie jeep
The last of the few modern raw vehicles probably. But not definitely worth a 100k

Ppl will buy it in 2 years when its worth 22k
At least the bronco raptor looks like its worth something, this looks like a base wrangler with a hood scoop lmao what a joke
They already drive like turds on the road where 90% live.
Adding more HP is an interesting solution...
It's psychotic, and I love it haha
Please don't spend 106K on this. 🤦♂

So sick. SOOOOOOOO overpriced.
