My 2024 392 is just a blast to drive. My 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie is way more refined, plush and awesome for long trips, but kind of synthetic like you said, almost drives itself. The 392 is wild and loud, an exciting driving experience. Much like my 1988 Chevy S-10 with a 400 small block…wild and loud. Life is great when you drive a V8! 💪
Agreed! I look forward to driving this 392… even if it’s just up the road to the grocery story. It’s a blast. Very few vehicles offer this sort of driving experience these days.
Absolute Beast with the Hemi! Own a 22 Rubicon XR with 3.6 and it's super capable ! The 35s and 4.56 gears from factory really put it on another level. Been wheeling all the way up and down the east coast with it from PA to FL and in-between. Has been phenomenal and averaging overall around 19.5 mpg over the 25k miles I have on it.
I’ve had some fun cars like 6th gen. ZL1 Camaro and 8v Audi RS3 etc.. but have always had a few jeeps. I got 2022 a JL392 and it’s my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned and I actually daily drive the car everyday day.
Seeing the temporary tags, I assume you purchased this 392? If so, congratulations. I ordered the Final Edition myself in Hydro Blue as the Fathom Blue was not available with the Sky One-Touch. I only hope that you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. The Fathom Blue is a stunning color and the sound alone is worth the money. Just ignore the haters in the previous comments. I took my other Wrangler (2023 V6) around the country earlier this year and it has been trouble free (as has the '24 392), except for trail damage. It may not be a great value, but if you can afford it, enjoy it. It may not be the last of it's kind with the new administration. EPA and CAFE standards will probably be relaxed. On your #2 complaint, easily and cheaply resolved with rubber molding from Amazon. Again, congrats.
I love the color. It reminds me of the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with the metallic dark midnight blue and gold firebird and gold trim. I’ve not been able to find a 392 in Fathom Blue with the Sky 1-touch. If they made them then I would go for it. Nice review. 👍
For those who say Wranglers are always in the shop, Wranglers are inherently a car where DIY is fairly manageable if you know what you're doing. I only have a few problems with it: I wish they would make it in standard, mpg should at least be 20mpg, and price point is about $35 too high.
I think the biggest problem with the 392 wrangler is when it first came out, you could get one around 75K it didn’t have 35 inch tires It had 33s on it standard. But that was an extremely good deal but we are way past that price now
No way! V8 Gas consume is problem Any solution? Hydrid and plug in hydrid are solution but all of Jeep Wrangler plug in hydrid is off to use anf parking at outdoor only but using gas as a lot of Wranger Jeep were burned by itself , even parking position and engine were turned off. Trouble Jeep do not solve it yet and I am waiting a recall mail from Jeep. Please not talking about Jeep Rubicon before Jeep Wranger is fixed. Please not buy any Jeep yet!
Totally worth it, but to each there own. Been throughly impressed so far. Heck, we’ve toyed with buying a 2nd one for the Mrs. Such a fun and unique vehicle. Still might before they are gone for good. 🇺🇸
This is a Jeep. The maintenance on it and the consistent breakage will be insane. You may not believe this...If they offered me 3 of them, I might go $102,000, but I would have to think hard about it. If they offered me 4 of them, I would go for it. I don't like loud/noisy vehicles. You do. We will never agree on that. We will never agree on Jeep either. It is a horrible vehicle, horrible company, and simply, it is not useful for anything. It fails at every point.
You sound like a person that's bitter because they can't afford one or you have bad credit. I own 2 of these with ZERO problems and believe me, I don't baby them. Enjoy your Prius that you're upside down in. You don't fit the Jeep model!
You don't know what you are talking about. Wranglers hold their re-sale value very well, much like pick up trucks. Most 3-4 year old Wranglers are selling north of $30,000. That's not too shabby.

First, God bless our Veterans. Second, it’s nice to see a naturally-aspirated V8.
Thanks Michael! A V8 in this platform just feels right hah. =]

These new Jeeps are amazing vehicles!
Can’t say I’ve had this much fun before in an SUV before. I love it!
I love jeeps. I currently have a truck for towing and hauling but a jeep is very tempting 😂
This 392 is unlike anything I’ve ever driven… I love it. 💯
Awesome Jeep!
That should be your everyday vehicle!
I booked my 392 final edition hydro blue in Dubai

That’s a great comparison, you’re right 👌
The color is perhaps my favorite part of this one… outside of the glorious V8 of course. =]
I’m a diehard Toyota guy. I possibly could be talked into buying a Ford Raptor but definitely wouldn’t pay $100K for a Chrysler/Dodge product.
Good to hear.
Haha I don’t blame you one bit on that. Jeep hasn’t developed a good reputation as of late… and for good reason. 👍
Are the seats the same as before? Usually they are not made for distance driving.
That blue is awesome. I don't like Jeeps, had really bad luck with one, but that thing is cool. Not 100k plus cool though.

Pretty good review. You didn't mention the Alpine amp in the back that comes with the premium sound system.

Yeah that’s a great point to make… wild that the prices have gone up so much in such a short timeframe.
Well it will be the last edition of the V8 but I think and hope that Jeep will put the new 6 inline TT
Great video. Would be cool to see your review and opinion on the Ford Bronco Raptor.
I’d love to get behind the wheel of one of those. I’ll try to do that soon. =]
I just seen a 2021 392 at local Lexus dealer for 52k with 30K miles. Half price. Pretty cool.
They were $76-80K in 2021. But yeah still a solid drop 👌
"Forbidden Fruit Thing"
The price is the same as a fully loaded diesel truck. 😮
There is no cooled seats lol
I love the 392 but at 100K, no thanks.
Those 392’s are awesome but over priced
Trump in office will help back the EPA off.

Not worth 100k, let it Rot!!
Haha yeah that’s an insanely tough pill to swallow… =\

@@DUNEATV well Thank YOU. Right back atcha neighbor.

For every comment like this, there’s one that is the complete opposite. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
@@Gladiatorguy1998 both my Jeep Rubicon‘s are absolutely bulletproof and take a beating off road no other vehicle could withstand.
Jeeps look cool but they love to be in the shop. And no resell value
Yeah I wish they had a better reputation… =\

Wrangler resale value is nuts dude lol
