Gotta react to Elvis "You gave me a mountain, " "What now my love" and "Sweet Caroline" plus many many more ,,,but those 3 please for now from aloha concert 1973
Elvis was Elvis. He can't be compared with anyone...in fact, it's become an art form to impersonate him. Girls of all ages (including my wife) considered him the sexiest man alive. The day he died, my wife and I were at a shopping mall. We came out of a store into the parking lot and everywhere there were women crying. I've never seen anything like it. He WAS the king.
He would also wipe his brow with napkins and throw them to the ladies, as well as the scarves, such as the white one you saw right at the end of the performance. He once gave a scarf specifically to a young lady in a wheelchair and another fan took it away from her. He saw it and at the end of the performance he had his bodyguards bring the young lady in the wheelchair onstage and gave her a diamond ring right off his hand and told his bodyguards to see that she got to her car with it after the show.
This is Elvis in 1973 from his Aloha From Hawaii concert, the biggest concert ever given by any single artist. It was beamed live around the world and seen by one and a half billion people. It was a benefit concert and performed on such a huge platform. Elvis was not a bad boy. Elvis was basically a good boy although he had his faults and weaknesses. We all do. The great boxer Ali once said that Elvis was the kindest sweetest nicest and most humble person he ever met. I read this from someone who quoted Ali.
Aloha from Hawaii; According to Elvis Presley Enterprises, between 1 and 1.5 billion people watched the one-hour broadcast live.Director Marty Pasetta produced and directed the Aloha TV special which became the most watched TV program ever, with over 1.5 billion people watching it worldwide. Would be seen in more American households than man’s first walk on the moon. Director and producer, Marty Pasetta said that when the show was finally seen around the world, it was seen by every third person on earth even topped the Oscars and the Superbowl.
He had the ability to pull the fans up on the edges of the seats and push them back into it or stand and rock all at his whim at a moment's notice. THAT'S REAL POWER & STAGE PRESENTS! Entertainers refused to follow his act on stage. The crowd would boo them off the stage. Charisma - Confidence. A real trend setter. A leader, never a follower. I saw him in 1969 in Chicago.
This is from the World's First Live Satellite Televised Broadcast that was shown in over 40 Countries and drew a viewing audience of over 1.5 Billion People ! The largest viewing audience in the History of Television ! The World's First Live Satellite TV Broadcast by a Major Worldwide Superstar ! ELVIS was the 1st and the Last Entertainer to do a Worldwide LIVE Satellite TV Concert ! Elvis owned a Wardrobe of Custom made Jumpsuits that he wore during his Concert Tours. Elvis Presley - Are you lonesome tonight Laughing version, Elvis was a great musical artist, he was also very funny and could take a joke with the best of them. The laughing version is proof.
Elvis kissed all the girls. They would have him kiss there kids. He adored his fans. Coming from sever poverty he appreciated all his fans as they loved him so much. He was a character, loved to laugh & love to joke he loved to play practical jokes on people. And yes he was kind of a bad boy because he was so sexy So sexy, and he knew it. He was a high humanitarian. He gave so much to charities. He would buy cars for complete strangers especially if he knew they were in need. He stood for all the underdogs. When we lost Elvis we lost a huge light in this world. He was not a God, but he felt like more then just a man. They say that you could feel him in a room before you could see him. His energy was that strong.
This song was a part of Elvis Presley's live satellite concert from Hawaii. Yes it's a part of the trilogy. Elvis was the first Entertainer that performed via satellite over 1 billion people had been recorded as watching. Yes, I was one of those people.

Hi India, - Same James Taylor - That was a fan, and he commonly kissed the female fans who went up to the stage during his concerts. - He was a good boy. It's why people who met him fell in love with him. A mama's boy in the best way and a Southern gentleman through and through. Thanks for the vids... we Elvis fans appreciate you!!
25, 000 fans that night and 25,000 the night before. He raised over 50,000 dollars to the Hawaii cancer research fund. He 💋 his female fans, good and bad, he loved his ladies. He kissed a lot of ladies in his Vegas concert doing Love me Tender.

This is what you call sexy! Alot of women got a kiss from him, since this was before your time Elvis was a straight up womanizer! His mouth and those lips could I chew on em'. Enjoy your journey as you follow Mr. Presley.

You should do his 1977 song hurt. The same year he left us. He may have been feeling bad. But he never lost his voice. Some of his best vocals ever. You will like it👍👍👍👊🏻
Pamela that song was in that's the way it is or Elvis On Tour. He didn't want to redo a bunch of songs for this concert because Elvis On Tour came out in November of 72 and the Madison Square Garden concerts happened in June. If you go through all three, there is just a handful of songs that is in all of them.
The amazing thing looking at his insane rings....he gave them away regularly. He grew up very poor and never forgot it. There was no welfare in his day when he was young. That’s why people had large gardens and did almost everything by their own hands. What I really like about Elvis is his bandmates and especially his back up singers who two of them he was friends with for more than 30 years would try to keep people away from him. They said he would literally give anything he had someone if he thought they needed it and people would say oh my god that’s a beautiful ring and he would take it off and give it to them. There were too many examples. One time while driving a bus seeing a very poor man on the side of the road who was walking but with difficulty. Elvis gave him all the cash in his pocket which at that time they said was about $1000 and that’s a lot of money back in the late 50s and he asked all the bandmates to give them whatever cash they have on them and promise when they got to town he would give it back to them and double it. So after everybody gave him their money he took that out to the old man and gave that to him and he took off all of his rings on both hands. He told him don’t let anybody see them and don’t let anybody rip him off but he could buy a house with those rings. There were other times that he would notice something and people on the bus would have to say no no no no no keep driving keep driving Elvis you can’t help everybody. I wish somebody could’ve helped him that night

That young lady he kissed was a fan. He did that in every show. 1970 in Vegas in the concert film "That's the Way it Is", he sings "Love me Tender" and one point in the song, he jumps off stage and start walking in the crowd kissing the women. When he gets back on stage, he re takes the microphone, but continues kissing people. When the song ends, Elvis says "Whoo...this is a tough way to make a livin' boy, I tell ya." 😂

Joanne said it best that he was a good bad boy. He was truly a good man with a streak of bad boy in him but he would not want to intentionally hurt anyone. As usual, another beautiful review. Thank you India. For those of us who come from broken homes there was a song by Elvis called, Don't Cry Daddy. It was a popular number one song back in the late 1960s and was so sad. If you get a chance could you please review his radio or album version of Don't Cry Daddy?
