He was just tack welding & with a mig u rest the nozzle on the work piece at the angle u want close your eyes & pull the trigger, & your frying bacon. I & many other people that can weld, close eyes & turn there head. When he was tig welding he had the hood on. And had he finished with the mig he would of used the hood

Yea this hobby is deff a sweet one .I wanted to get into it urs ago just wanted them to work out the kinks in em so I gave it some time but now I regret it lol.I got into it like 3 months ago and on my 3 rd build so far learned a lot in that Lil bit of time .ride safe guys

@@la_plata3588 Maybe, the intake is only about an inch diameter, with a decent velocity stack, how much would it take to stuff a 66 cc volume? At any speed, there's bound to be some boost. We're not talking a ram jet here. Anything is better than nothing, and probably an improvement.

It has been a looooooong time, welcome back. That is one bad ass bike. Back in the 1940's / 1950's you could turn the Barrel around on the Villiers engines for racing.

Definitely looks great!! Steve has new minerelli vertical headers and I’ve asked several times if the bend he has on the header will clear a faker frame with a cnc Mount billet case without any fab work.

Whats up your back hay what do u have to do to the bottom end to put the 440 on thats bad. Ass and i was told u can put the 100cc there are a few of them the cdhpower 100cc yd100cc but do u know if the bottom end on them are the same as the 66cc bottom can u put the yd100cc or witch ever one on the botrom end on the 66cc everything looks the same size ty and good to see u back
You have to jb weld the ports closed then bore out so it fits the larger piston on the ms440. You also need to fit in the old stud holes and tap out new ones. I have not got a YD100 yet to try out.

I think he just switched the jug and piston around. It's possible, I'd do it but then you need a custom Exhaust.
@@eduardodiaz5762 Right but did he have to do work to the transfer ports? Mind you that jug is not even a motorized bike jug, looks like a cylinder jug from a chainsaw or something similar. A bit more involved than just turning it around, If it is to run right anyways.
@@justingadley2053 The transfer ports are filled in with JB Weld. Its a stihl 440 cylinder 1/4 inch adapter plate. (Mini Frankenstein). Needs race fuel for max performance.

just finished my NCCER for welding, signed on with union to get my AWS certification. five years from now i want to make gas bikes for Austin Texas, and its failing gas market. you can fill up a bike for 10$ but 10$ in a car is just sad. but what do i know....

I have one and so far i LOVE it after putting a Hilliard x clutch on and a few other mods and tuning Governor still on (till warranty is up) im hitting 28mph then it kicks in and smacks me down. But a very reliable commuter so far

@@MotoredLife seriously, that's awesome.I have an engine with a nice jug, but it has some issues broke stud on both ends, but got a g4 to put on.I'm gonna get them studs fixed on jeg and try it out and am gonna crap if it works!! Is there any torque difference? Why not produced as an option if there is a difference.appreciate feedback, that may be one of a few never tried.thanks✌🏁✌

Lol I said the welding looked horrible cause it is! They deleted my comment. Serously it is not a very clean looking welding job. Not trying to be a jerk or anything. Look at the jog pipe I made for the my minarelli build Like a year ago.... can't even tell it's not factory and I only spent 2 hours making it Just to get it done.

@@MotoredLife well I mean for the amount of cash ya paid for that. It should be a lot better. Dont get me wrong these guys make awesome bikes lol he just is not very good at welding! Seen some other stuff as well they welded it works just not pretty for the price it should be!
