    i remember the first time i was in busan on my own and was trying to find a place to eat. it was hard cause somehow a lot of places only accepted 2 or more diners. then i passed this small shop in some market which was cooking the most amazing smelling seafood pancakes. it was so gratifying to eat a whole pancake by myself especially in the cold weather haha

    Absolutely love these since the moment I first eat them. We don’t have Korean places to eat here in Scotland (I mean maybe in the big cities, I’ve not searched hard enough, maybe I’m I’ve just not looked properly), it’s mostly yet Chinese and Japanese restaurant galore.
    However I was in Jakarta Indonesian and they have hundreds of places and chain restaurants, so I had some Korean food and it was absolutely amazing, it topped Japanese Shabu-Shabu.
    I got these pancakes to go as I ordered far too much food, so I had it as a snack later that night and the pancake was so huge, it was like at least the size of a 12 inch pizza and chunky as hell and they had the dipping sauce with it.
    It’s hands down the most tasties thing ever.
    The way we cook omelettes is similar to korean way, but you guys just add more spices and ingredients to infuse it more with flavour and use seafood.
    Glad I found this video so I can make it myself and it’s so fast to make, it can be made as a quick and effortless meal which is convenient.
    Man it’s like 3am right now and already hungry and can’t wait until tonight to make this for dinner ❤️

    Such a coincidence you made pancake today because I had green onion pancake for lunch! LOL!! Can't claim to have made it myself (Asian market to the rescue), but I'll defiantly have to try this recipe out. Looks like another winner Daniel! I'm happy it ended up in your tummy and not the floor!

    question. what should texture be like? crispy all the way thru, like Japanese tempura or softer in the center like an omelet?

    • @selenekim311
      @selenekim311 7 років тому

      Toni Sanoe Dela Cruz crispy outside soft inside. If you want it tempura texture make it thin.

      @monicas2461 7 років тому

      The ones that I had were a bit chewy in the middle and crispy outside. The chewy part reminds me a bit of mochi rice cakes.

    Haemul pajeon .이라는 고유음식 이름을 맨 앞에 두세요. 그리고 싸푸드 펜케익이라는 이상한 이름은 내레세요. 그건 한국 음식 이름 아니죠. PA-JEON!!!!! THERE ARE MANY KINDS OF JEON, YOU KNOW. 일본을 봐라 한국 해물파전을 배워가서 지네 이름 붙여 마치 일본고유음식처럼 세계화시키고 잇잖아. 왜 한구인들은 영어이름을 사용해서 한국음식을 무국적의 음식을 만드는가. 그 나람 언어를 써야지 그 나라 푸드가 된다. 펜케익 이라는 말 쓰지마라. 한국엔 펜케익 없고 그건 이상한 미국음식이라고 미락루 범벅인.

      I am born and raised in the US but love Korean food and trying new things from around the world. Pancake can refer to anything that is 'pan' fried from a batter into 'cake' or patty form. In America these are called seafood pancakes. I grew up eating what my mom called salmon patties. Made from canned salmon, green onions, and a similar flour and egg mixture.

    소시소스 아니고 간장이다. 간자이라고 해라. 간장의 기원은 한국 즉 조선이다. 수천년전부터 잇엇따. 고구려 기록에도 잇따. 제발 간장 된장 고유이름사용해라. 일본은 우리 된장을 가지고 지네 고유이름 쓰잖아. 지발 생각좀 가지고 그게 아니면 이런 거 올리지마라. 오히려 한국문화를 훼손시킨다.
