"I gave up my tongue but totally worth it", if that isn't the best recommendation ever! Great recipes as always from Aaron and great comments from Claire
🤣🤣🤣
Poor girl! Needs a glass of water when taste testing ! Lol!
it's so clever to use the dumpling filling for broth! I always forget that you make the recipes easier because they all look and taste so amazing, I've made a few and all taste super high quality and delicious!!
The brass or bronze serving bowl with the Mandu Guk really put it over the top on appearance! Gotta pick one up for when I want my dumplings (or cereal) to look extra fancy!
You had me at “Dumplings”!!! My favorite! Here lately I take a pack of clear oriental ramen seasoning and add 2 cups of water, a little black vinegar, a little fish sauce, a little bit of minced garlic, a little cooking wine and bring up to a simmer, add my frozen dumplings and any veggies I have on hand. When the dumplings are done I add the rice noodles to the pot as they cook in just minutes. I start ladling the dumplings and broth into a bowl and then add the remaining soup. Yes it’s pretty to sprinkle green onions on top. Sometimes I like the dumplings fried and eat with a sauce. With this cold weather, it’s been a pot of soup lately!! I will try that pretty topping of the sliced egg! I love you two and so appreciate your videos 👍😍
I'm so happy that you didn't forget the green onions!😍😍
Betty, you have renewed my faith in people from Arkansas 👍 Keep cooking adventurously ❤️
That sounds so easy yet delicious. Almost reminds me of pho!
You don’t have to say oriental ramen
Hello Aaron, for the first dish, you said to add "some green onions"... Is it okay to add "more green onions" to make it more delicious!? 😊🍻
I have nothing to teach you👍
@@AaronandClaire Big Onion conspiracy confirmed. ;)
Not just saying this but Korean Mandu are far superior to any other Gyoza or "potsticker" out there! The difference is truly there! I was actually mad at myself back when I had first discovered them, then tried them because I had been missing out on them for so long!
Tell me about it!😍
Bibigo dumplings are a blessing. Easily one of the best frozen dumpling brands out there, maybe that's why you feel this way!!
As an Italian: he's right, dumplings, ravioli? Same same! My... my life just changed
See also: calzone = pasty. :D
Same bro.
The reasoning that you give at the outset, why to try the recipe and the confidence that you instill in your viewers is why I watch. Rock on, Aaron (&Claire)
I am in awe of Claire's metabolism. I'm much older than either of you, but were I eat that much food I am not sure that I would be able to fit through any random door.
This channel has reignited my passion for cooking Asian cuisine... Absolutely my favorite channel on UA-cam ❤️ Much love from the US Aaron and Claire
Let's cook together!😎
I love watching Claire taste test. She has so much enthusiasm for the food ☺️
I love your videos! I've tried so many of your recipes and they've all come out just as you said and it's been a huge introduction to Korean food. My husband and I always say "don't worry about it" to each other like you
So happy to hear that Megan!! 😍😍 And please say hi to your husband!🤣
Wow, this makes me want to buy all the frozen dumplings!
Claire is such a good taste tester! So professional lol!
This channel is so relaxing! Anytime i watch your videos I always feel much better afterwards, such a genuine and positive energy from you both! Thank you for sharing
ooh great ideas. my so will love them., she even eats the dumplings like claire
So glad to hear that!😍
It’s miserable here. So cold. Claire’s “excited food face” warmed me right up. Some great ideas as usual.
The soup base out of dumpling filling is genius!
ever since this video came out i've been watching it so many times
i'm now super hungry 😭
I went to an Hmart for the first time last year and fell in LOVE with the dumplings we got there. Definitely trying these soon! Especially the KFC dumplings 😋 😍 🤤
You're gonna love it so much!!😍
what is Hmart
@@sephoraplays7591 H-Mart is a giant, massive, Korean grocery store in America. They're all over the country in major cities.
@@markphillips7538 Thank you
It’s like you guys read my mind! I’ve had frozen dumplings just sitting in the freezer and been wondering what to do with them
😍😍
The hot pot is perfect for the winter cold weather. I know what I'm making sunday
I just made the first recipe with vegetable dumplings. Oh My Goodness!!!! These were delicious, Aaron!
Although I started to say, “Claire” after I completed the dish 😂
So I had the rest of the dumplings for lunch today. That sauce is solid gold. Rich, sweet, spicy, sticky --sooooo good!
the production value of this video is 10/10
Perfect timing !! The thumbnail looks delicious !! Thank you for your amazing content !!
Thank you for saying that!🙏
I do not get tired of always having my frozen dumplings the same way.
But I like trying new stuff so I am happy to try all of these.
Love when you do dumpling recipes💛 dumplings are one of my favorite foods =D
Thanks!😍
I would like to see a Q&A w/ you and Claire! You both are so amusing. Here's to getting you over a Million Subs in 2022! 🐯
With Aaron's cooking skills and Claire's true love and emotion for food this channel is very good! 🙌🏾♥️ I appreciate the balance and the flip of usually the wife being the cook for her husband. Plus, the recipes look delectable and Claire's reactions (even when she has some critiques on how she would like it or would rather have it) makes it wholesome. Thank you 💕
I just made dumpling with fried chicken sauce and OMG it’s the best thing ever. I’ve never had dumplings so delicious
Excellent recipes! Claire's enthusiasm is so cute! Great video!
Yum! Happy New Year Aaron and Claire!
Happy New Year Christie!😍
Claire is the best taste tester
Thanks for the tutorial! I tried the first recipe today, it was so good with white rice. Can’t wait to try the rest.
A while back I made the first recipe and my Korean boyfriend absolutely loved it!
Thank you. Tried similar to the first recipe. It was a hit! Can't wait to try the rest.
You are going to get 1 million subscribers in no time. What would you do without Claire she is such a good taster.
Those are really great ideas. I'm gonna try it with frozen perogies. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Canada!
All of these look so GOOD! I never thought to try korean dumplings in a cream sauce, but I have a pack of pork and mushroom dumplings that will probably be DELICIOUS!
Awesome timing, bought today a bunch of frozen dumplings
I KNEW IT!!!!!!🤣😍
i just ate some mandu and i’m sO MAD i didn’t see this first because that gangjeong flavor sounds so good 🤤
Wow those dumpling dishes look amazing it's 3:13 am here in South Africa and you just made me very hungry
Sorry about that my friend!🤣
Thank you @Aron and Claire for the lovely recipes and it save time to make Korean as easy as possible. Especially as college student this helps also I made your dumplings with the flour and water spring onions totally worth making. Can't wait to try this recipe since have order Korean Chili paste and Korean Chili Flakes. Thank you so much and I do recommend anyone trying this amazing recipes they are quick easy and too delicious. ☺️💕🥟
Your videos are literally some of the only videos where I can cook them because I have the ingredients for them lol
I was just wondering yesterday how I would finish off my holiday dumplings. What timing
I was out of town when this aired, and now that I'm back home, this was the perfect thing to come back to. I've got weekend plans for cooking to make! Thanks, Aaron!
how about an episode of opposites? Claire make some favorite dishes and have Aaron try/react to the dish? compilation video of Aaron going mmm, mmm!! mmmm? mmmm
Are you trying to kill me?🤣
LOL She admits that Aaron is the better cook. Isn't that why she is always willing to do the washing up? As long as no one feels they are not getting the raw end of the deal, it's all good.
I love it, Thankyou sooo much I can make my daughter her favorite food! Hello from Miami Florida GOD Blessed 🙏🙏🙏
Aaron has good cooking skills !!!
Masterchef Aaron 🧑🍳!
This is Fantastic! I’m impressed with your presentation. Your recipe looks delicious and easy to follow. I’m gonna try to make this. Your a very talented creator. I make you tube cooking videos too and I love to learn from others like you. I wish you much success in 2022! I look forward to watching future videos!
You guessed right, I have so many mini wontons left and tried your first recipe, with a few substitutions, and it's so tasty
I actually love standard frozen dumplings, one of the fastest satisfying meals a working parent could ask for, but Aaron you've helped me up my game!
Oh my gosh I love dumplings and that second recipe with the cream and bacon had me drooling 🤤😋 they all look amazing though, I love your channel. Thank you Aaron and Claire
I will try the dumplings with cream sauce easy to make looks delicious
I even forgot I have frozen dumplings in the freezer omg!! thank you thank you!! i needed this video!
Those are my favorite dumplings. I love using them to make dumpling soup and fried dumplings. Now I can enjoy even ways to cook dumplings.
I have been making the Mandu Gangjeong for 2 years. Honestly, amazing recipe which I find quick and simple to make once i already have the sauce done. Plus, it taste really good. Highly recommend!
At 1:40 is where they start making the sauce
Perfect timing!!!! Been grabbing frozen dumplings from the store for about 6 months, and been looking for new things to try with them!!!!
I wondered how many delicious food Claire had eaten. Lucky lady 😊
This is the first cooking channel I've subscribed to. Every video makes me laugh and want to learn how to cook better.
never knew i needed this
This was an extremely timely video. I just bought a big bag of Bibigo dumplings from Costco yesterday! Can't wait to try some of these recipes.
Happy to see we use the same brand here!
thanks dumpling is versatile food; as wel grilled, in soup, as pasta or even in salad/sandwich...
A European tip for the ravioli style dumplings, if you add bacon first into at cold pan and then fry it more of the bacon fat will render out and the bacon will become more crispy and you should have enough bacon fat to fry the onions and mushroom 😉
Awesome vid as always! 😋
I made the first three, amazing!! Love you guys!!
Wow, that's awesome! Thank you for sharing, Christi! 😉👍
I made the gangjeong for dinner, OMG that was so good... My family all in loved with it 🤤🤤 . thankyou for the recipe!!
Made the fried dumplings with the sauce today and my wife liked it so much she sounded like Claire! I think she even started speaking Korean! 🤪
Watching dumpling recipes when I don't have any dumplings to cook... pure pain. Will definitely be making a trip to the store so I can try these out asap!
This Italian is just letting you know that in Italy (well, in Rome, at any rate) 'ravioli' IS what we call dumplings from East Asian cuisines, as well. If you look on the menu of, for example, a Chinese restaurant in Rome, it will say 'ravioli cinesi' (Chinese ravioli/dumplings). When I left Italy in 2010, I don't think there was a Korean restaurant in Rome yet, only Chinese and Japanese and MAYBE Thai, though I can't remember for sure. That may have changed, but I've not been back for quite a while, so I couldn't say.
As an Italian I approve with your fusion cuisine! In fact i would love to see more fusion recipes from you both! Id love for you to use pancetta or guancale instead.
Yep, only subtle differences between ravioli and dumplings. Same with pierogis. Many cultures have some variant of "little doughy packets of food item". Some are boiled, some are fried. Some contain meat, some contain veg, some contain cheese. Bottom line, if you think something is tasty, cut it up into bite-sized pieces, wrap it in a dough, and cook as desired. Boom! That's the template for a dumpling.
Claire is so fun to watch. You guys are my favorite food channel.
I always bought bibigo dumplings from Walmart because I thought they tasted the best. I had no idea they are a company actually from Korea
I didn't have dumplings before, but after watching this I get the feeling they'll be making an appearance in my freezer soon. These dishes look SO good!
These look great! Thank you!
"If you buy more because it's so delicious, I'm not responsible." LOL 😂
Liked and subbed...because I have a freezer full of dumplings from Costco! How could I not? Lol! Thanks from Newfoundland Canada!
I made recipe #4 last night. It was delicious. Next time I will need way more mandu, I only had 1 beef gyoza pack so I used that. My family was digging around for more mandu at the end 🥺
I love all of your videos, but this is by far my favorite and I cannot wait to make all of these!
Hi Aaron and Claire, Just a note to let you know my friends and I are BIG FANS we watch your channel every day! I have bought everything I need for Korean cooking but I am still scared to try, hehe. I wish I could buy a cook book with all of your recipes. That would be so GREAT! Can you show how to make those little side dishes we get in Korean restaurants too?
Im gonna try them all🥰😍thank you for this amazing recipes
This is making me hungry❤
I get that dumpling-filling broth whenever the dumpling skin breaks... 😅
Just made the Mandu Gangjeong and holy moly was that was so good! It was a hit at dinner tonight. It didn't get as sticky as Aaron's so maybe he didn't use the entire sauce? But the taste was phenomenal; sweet, salty, spicy. Truth be told, I didn't make enough
The lonely packet of dumplings in my freezer says thank you. Guess what we’re having for dinner tonight? :)
KFC Dumplings?🤣
Yummmmmm I love any dumpling! So delicious
What can I say, Aaron you’re a genius! I’m gonna go out and get some mandoo so I can try these recipes!!
Similar dumplings I had in Thailand take care guys sending love from UK ❤️❤️
How did you know I was contemplating on eating dumplings tonight? I'll try these recipes out! Thank you!
I'm vegetarian, but I have no trouble substituting ingredients from your videos. Always turns out delicious.
So glad it stills works! Please share many tips for vegetarian viewers! 😊🙏
brilliant , going to try
didn’t even know i was obsessed with dumplings until watching this 😸
🤣🤣
Aaron! I would love to see a video like this on danmuji (pickled radish) ... What else can I do with them besides kimbap?? 😃
Thank you Aaron for the dumpling tips!!
Dumplings are my fav
Claire reminds me of ajushis in k-drama, the emphasis on some words sounds just like them 👌🏻😄
Just the video I needed
I’m not big into cooking chicken wings. It’s too much of a hassle. The first recipe looks amazing tho! I would love to see multiple ways of seasoning and cooking dumplings to substitute for chicken wings. Such a great idea! Never thought of that before!
