It really impacted me when you said 'Thank you for all the work you're doing'. I feel grateful to be acknowledged in that way, because not many people validate the work it takes someone like me to keep overcoming depression/anxiety/cptsd daily. 🙏🏽💞

I used to think that heart pain was a medical problem. After countless ER visits and tests I have come to realize and accept that it was actually the emotion of heartbreak. These days, when I feel pain in my heart, I no longer panic and think heart attack. Instead, I think, "who in the hell is breaking my heart now?".

I've found this. For me, I've been uncovering a lot of limiting beliefs, and the emotions that go way back with them gave 'come up', it's like gradually I can actually FEEL my heart becoming less painful and 'squeezed'. It honestly has that right, restricted shrivelled starved feeling, like the Grinch's attitude towards Christmas.

You may want to reflect on what type of self-esteem and boundaries you have for yourself. Lots of random people shouldn't be able to march into your space and "break your heart" just like that. Of course heartbreak (meaning sadness, hurt, and disappointment, even longing) can be an unavoidable aspect of some relationships, but not frequently.

Watching this, I was reminded about the sort of headspace I get into when I'm writing. I write fiction, so I have to describe and "feel by proxy" my characters' emotions in order for them to come across well. It never occurred that I could give myself that same, brief moment of empathy. Thank you.

You seriously need to consider doing something where you use your voice as a way to soothe people, maybe stories, maybe mindfulness vids (I don't know what options there are really). My point is your voice is calming. When I'm on edge i always listen to you. When I can't sleep I always put a video of yours on. And I know I'm not the only one that thinks this 😊 Thank you for this one, I'm getting into the habit of asking myself 'what am I feeling' and giving myself space to find the word but struggle with naming feelings. Going to give these tips a go.

Thankyou so much for bringing up such topics which other therapists on yt unknowingly ignore.
I have not watched even half of your videos but my inner health and mindset have improved so much from just few of your videos. You are a great person, your voice is so soothing and calms the mind and how you deliver the concept and make me feel comfortable is just another thing.
Kindly make some videos on past guilts, regret for repeated mistakes, negative thoughts suddenly popping out of no where.
We need more deep concepts to make our ment health conditions better

This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

I think abou all the exercises that you show about feeling the emotions in your body/visualising them as shapes and colors and textures. One of the most helpful exercises me and my therapist did so far was me drawing my monster. I was talking to her about how my anxiety makes me project frustration and temper outwards while squashing me with worry inwards, and in my mind it looks like this monster that surrounds me whenever I feel those emotions. She asked me to elaborate on how I see my Anxiety Monster, then asked me to draw it for the next session. She also said next time I should try and "talk" to my monster, because it's there to protect me from all those things I worry about happening, but the way it does that does not serve me. It may have been so effective because I am very imaginative and visual, so now I "check in with my monster" whenever I get anxious. It may be helpful with other emotions as well.

Wow, this came at the perfect time I just finished exercising and wanted to watch something that could help me innerly, thank you for helping us and teaching us such valuable information to be able to dive deeper within ourselves, God bless you! 😁🤍
    Here's some notes I couldn't not take:
    4 principles of mindfulness
    Be curious
    Describe, Don't judge
    Non-striving
Don't try to force immediate change, feel what you're feeling with grace, feel them to be present; dropping the war with your own body
    Be here now
Instead of escaping to worry about the past or fearing your future
When you identity a feeling, especially in your body, you validate it
Because emotions are often trying to tell us something, they're often resolved just by being acknowledged

When I'm really pushing myself or working more intensely , many times I burst out crying and shaking uncontrollably and I feel panicked like something terrible is happening. I've always suspected it was bc as I activated previously untouched parts of the body the emotions in them were released and I panicked bc I didn't expect it and was overwhelmed by them. Can this be??
