- In this video, I discuss the cadet programs offered by Wizz Air. The airline is based in Hungary and offers three different programs for aspiring pilots. The attractive aspect of the training program is the payment plan which is quite different from other payment plans anywhere.

This program offers 3 cadet programs and they all offer unique payment schemes. Will you apply to this cadet program?
if international students are recruited i will
I am 18 now and study at an academy I live in Ukraine. Decided to become a pilot at 14. This program seems like a life and time-saver for me as my family don't have even a quarter of full program price. I'm ready to go that extra mile as I really really want to be a pilot...
Did you join this academy and what is the situation like now?
@@meryamelmouttaqui6938 no i just plan to
Thank you so much, very useful video!
Thank you!
You share valuable info, sir.
Thank you.
Thank you!

You can read the requirements to find out more.
Hi Sir so I live in UK so I cant apply for this course?
hello Mr Stephen, i have washed somany of your posts on youtube and i must confess you have been encouraging my inspiration a lot. My name is Martin, a Nigerian and i am in the Air Force. I flew the DA 40 and L39 ZA, however, i was grounded due not having abtitude, according to my Instructor. Ever since then i have beeen feeling like a failure. I am seriously looking for cash to go train abroad, may be Canada or the US and continue my career as civil pilot. I hope on GOD for open doors because i really want to come back to the cockpit. At the moment in the Nigerian Air Force i fly the Unmanned Combat Aircraft System on War against banditory and terrorist at the North Easthern Nigeria. Hope to get special advice from you Sir.
Hello Martin,
firstly, thank you for your service! I would like to chat with you if you can reach me on Instagram.
Having the aptitude is essential in order to safely fly as a pilot and sometimes it comes down to either you have it or you don’t. Everyone has different abilities which could effect their ability to fly. Don’t be discouraged though because you may be able to train successfully in the right conditions and environment.
Thanks so much sir. I humbly request your instagram handle sir.
Mine is Abangxxx.
Grateful sir.
Dear Stephen,
I want to express my gratitude for the valuable content you provide; it has been incredibly helpful. However, I find myself in need of guidance. Presently, I hold a CPL and completed my flight training in Colombia due to the cost advantages. I also hold dual citizenship with a UK passport.
My dilemma lies in feeling somewhat stuck in my aviation career. I sense that I may be overqualified for a cadet program, yet I also harbour doubts about what I should do to continue flying. I'm uncertain about the best course of action moving forward. What would you recommend as my next step?
Thank you in advance for your insights.
Sincerely,
Bryan
Hi Bryan, it’s easier to chat via Instagram. Can you reach me on that ? Stephen_av8
Yes Stephen, when you were in Live for the British Speedbird program, i asked you if maybe can do a video of Wizz Air Pilot Academy, as i was ready to apply back then, which i did but ..flash news, if you are above 35 ( i turned 36 on 23rd of september ), they will not select you. That happened to me, so if anybody reads this comment and wants to apply over 35, now know what to expect.
Thanks, that was going to be one of my questions
They are never going to tell you this, even if you ask by e mail. Believe me, i tried
Hi, thanks for your comment and update on this. That information isn’t disclosed anywhere but I’m not surprised. Thank you.
Only above 35? Or Including 35? I am 34 and I will be 35 next week!
Discover this program today. It is recent?
I think you will be ok if you are not 36 yet, but still 'old' for them. Give it a try, you never now until you try
Yes sir. Did some searching and was able to find you on insta sir.
Actually left a message sir.
Thank you and I responded.
Been loving your videos. Just one question. I am from the UK. If i go through the pilot academy will I be able to work for wizz air UK or would i be allocated to Wizz Air Hungary
They will likely place you where you are qualified to legally work. This is a great question to also ask Wizz recruiter.
Great videos always informative but i have something to ask of will you do videos also for companies that offer the same pilot programs for internationals especially for those in Africa who want to take up flying as a career
Exactly my thoughts. Most or all programs I’ve come across requires permanent residence or citizenship.
I totally understand but the challenge is I am yet to come across similar programs offered by African companies. These opportunities are generally not open to international students also but I will share every program I believe could be beneficial with the community.
@@stephenav8 That’s understandable. Could you however brew this over and suggest a possible pathway to the big leagues for our category of people?
Hello. I have a Question. So you know Whats the difference between the Wizz Air „Pilot Academy Programme“ und the „Pathway Program“? Thanks for the Aswer 😀
Hi,
Both are very similar with very minor differences -
The Pathway program is in partnership with Urbe Aero Flight Academy. The school will train you from zero but you still cover your training cost or you secure a loan for it . The cost of the advanced training, APS-MCC and Type Rating, will be entirely paid in advance by the airline (some of it will be paid back when you start working).
The Wizz Air Pilot Academy is through two other flight schools, Egnatia Aviation and Trener. The program is financed by Wizz Air upfront but you will pay some of it back when you start working. I have covered the breakdown of the payment structure in this video.
Sir , is it mandatory to have an eu passport as this criteria says right to live in those countries? Please help
Hi, if you have a visa that gives you the ability to live and work in EU, then you don’t need the passport.
Hello, I would like to thank you for the content you provide.
I have some question, I hope you help me with them.
I'm from Iraq and my language is Arabic, so I didn't understand all the details.
The question is, can I study in this academy while my nationality is Iraqi?
Is employment immediately after the completion of the training?
Hi, you need to have the right to live in EU to qualify.
Do it include fir European student our for international ppl
For this one, you need to have the right to live an work in the countries I mentioned in the video.
Are you eligible for the first course if you live outside of the countries you listed but you have a eu passport giving me the right to live there?
As long as you have the right to live and work in EU, then you can apply. The countries are the bases you expect to work out of.
Thanks for the useful video! What percentage of candidates pass the assessment?
I honestly don’t have that information but if you are well prepared, you should not have problems.
Ok but what about the job will I work with wizz air lines right after I finish the training?
Yes
What's the main difference between the Wizz Air Pilot Academy and the Pathway program? What if we're Europeans but aren't based in the countries they've mentioned such as Albania, Hungary etc? Thank You for your help!
There aren’t much differences but I noticed the flight school for the Pathway program is different from the Wizz Air Pilot Academy.
You will have to train at the locations they offer. The Pathway’s school is in Italy
@@stephenav8 Thank you😄
