Hello Caner, all good points. A better analysis to add on to this would be cost of living in Texas compared to UAE (No point in comparing Cali/Colorado/NY).
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you. In the video, I compared the average salary in the US to that in the UAE. However, I only briefly mentioned that the take-home pay varies by state, which means the numbers presented cannot be entirely accurate. Nonetheless, that was the intention of the video. Thank you for your input.
Can you make a video on the documentation process of changing from Emirates to U.S Legacies? (Do you need green card? did the company sponsor you? How log did it take?)
This is the video i actually need rn .... Like Caner makes the best pilot videos and Im going to watch some of his other videos while waiting for this one to release
Hi Capt, I'm really enjoy watching your videos, so informative. Just have some questions. Don't you mind explain to me the appreciation 8%? How to calculate that? 8% base on what? Cuz I see the numbers rise so crazy. 14:54
401k is basically investing in stocks, bonds, etc… the 8% is the average annual growth of the money you invest for retirement. It grows crazy because it’s compounding.
Hi Caner. This is a very interesting video! May I ask how do you get visa to go to US airlines. When you apply to US airlines, did you resign from Emirate first or you can resign emirate after you get hired in US airline. Thank you!
Could you maybe make a video on how to move to the US / get a VISA or green card to be able to live and work for an airline in the US? Also with things like licence transfer the whole process seems very compicated. Thanks in advance!
Taner abi, I just got my pilot certificate with low hours. Is it possible for me to apply for a job in US with a Turkish passport holder? It’s a EASA license
Hello Caner. I loved the video. The Only thing I'd like your feedback from is academy. I was researching and I found out that it costs ~180k for 2 year program. Is there any way to do the academy and then pay a cut of salary each month when you work for them. Kind of a debt
First of all, I just discovered your channel, and it's amazing. Thank you for your valuable information! I'm a regional Captain, from South America I'm trying to decide between applying for Copa, Emirates, or convalidate my ICAO license to FAA (hardest route) What do you recommend? (Regarding incomes, taxes, Q.O.L) Thank you in advance!

Im 26 year old and my dream is to be a pilot but due to financial issue i couldnt do it. Can you please help me to know if it is a great career choice to be a pilot? I mean after being on this age im doubtful on a lot of things. Please help me someone
Of course US airlines pay crazy money when they are desperte for pilots like post covid. Now situation is stable and maybe going sloghtly down. US pilot market goes up and down with the hightest amplitude on Earth. When there is a huge demand you can make fortune. When they dont you, they will fire or offer very low salary. During previous crisis crew was working for nothing and some of them będę sleeping in the campers with a food stamps to survive. Luckly you Enter prime time and take adventage of this, because this eldorado will be over soon
Certainly, I can help you with that. Here's a revised version of the text: "Thank you for your comment, but I'm afraid I have to respectfully disagree. In the United States, there is a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between companies and airlines. Unlike airlines in the Middle East, when things are going down, US airlines don't fire pilots; they furlough them. Additionally, wages are also determined by the CBA. Aviation is a fragile sector and crises occur every ten years or so. Covid-19 has shown that this is not unique to America, as Asian, Middle Eastern, and European companies have also had to let people go. However, due to measures taken, American pilots have been impacted the least. My point is that crises will always be a part of the aviation industry, not just for American airlines or pilots, but globally."
in the nxzt 5 years there will be lots of new pilots in the us and the payment will decrease a lot, for new comers, so it's just a limited amount of time and also you have to spende CRAZY amount of money for everything in the us so don't think that 250k or even 300k is more than what emirates gives, because at the end of the day it's less
@@CanerAcarbay no, the difference is that in usa they lost hundred of thousands of licenses in the last 20 years because salary was shit and nobody wanted to be a pilot (I studied there I had my flight training there, I remember how I was considered much less than a taxi driver and much less than a truck driver) now with all these videos that say that money is good lots of people will come back to be pilot in the usa. and this situation IS NOT HAPPENING IN EUROPE or Asia or middle east because in those areas NOBODY thinks that pilot is a shitty job so the number of pilots will never go down. so you're not having a special job in the us you're having an ORDINARY job that NOW is paid better but what people think about aviation STAYS THE SAME. you're not as socially respected in the us compared to other areas, but you never mention this. and I'm sure you know that since you live in the us

The simple fact that you were at Emirates and now fly at United Airlines answers the “which is better question”, even though you don’t want to.
Maybe you never paid attention😂😂😂

Of course flying for United is much better than Emirates. Does anyone think otherwise? Bring the tulip back!

Can you give me a answer.what is the best Emirates or American airlines by the pilot salary
You should include SWA, they contribute a lot in the industry especially with their new contract/ Pay.
No one understands how they pay so he can't compare. But yes... SWA is usually higher paying when averaging for each pilot than even the "legacies".
Great video sir👍👍

No, you don't need a green card. You will need a work permit, aka work visa, which your employer will help you with apply for

yes

Isnt Qatar Airways the most paying in the middle east?
with a 5,5 months bonus they got in emirates last year I would say it's emirates
Sir how much cost required to be an pilot at Emirates airlines
In emirates flight training academy it's around 181k dollars
Thank you :)
How did you join an americain Airline without nationality?😅
he says he won the green card, usually is what they say people who did fake marriage ))))
You do realise that they have something called a work permit, just like many countries

Why do they retire after about 10 to 15 years ? Why don't they stay for up to 30 years in Emirates?
Because if they retire from emirates they wont get all these allowances, just basic salary
Also s in the USA you rly need to consider TAX
it's already considered in the video :)
how can an Indian pilot work in usa without having a green card?
you can't
You can. Look at EDA a.k.a. work permit/visa
Do you have us nationality?as you working in USA
Many countries give work permits for specific types of jobs
