I have been flown every year with Wizz in the last 6 years, withouth any problems. The airplane was always young, many times almost brand new, the cabin crew was always very kind. I had onle 2 haurs delay only once from London because the foggy weather, but other flights were cancelled. 100x better service compared to international trains.
funny, i had the exact opposite experience over and over again, extremely rude and loud staff, not focused at passengers. Old plane with Ukrainian texts on labels all over. Extremely slow and delayed. Horrible hard landing.

Wizz Air charged me £25.00 just to book a seat! As if you can board a plane without a seat! Then charged me £6.00 booking fee for paying them £25.00. Wizz Air have a racketeer Al-Capone would be envious of.
I never pay to book a seat with Wizz Air. I allow them to allocate me a seat (which is for free) and I get a window seat almost every time. If not, then there's normally enough empty seats to move to a window seat. :)

You will rather have people and objects flying and hitting each other inside a plane than anything breaking off a plane. Wake turbulence may be dangerous by pushing a plane towards the ground. That concerns mostly small planes. In any case you should keep your seat belts fastened at all times when seated.
I flew them a month ago and the cancelled my flight cuz of the Microsoft problems. They paid my flight with Austrian Airlines, so there was no refund necessary. I often fly them and usually they are on time and sometimes even ahead of schedule.
i use Wizz air 2 or 3 times a year over the last 15 plus years, never had any real issues.the only minor irritation they do not accept payment on board from so called start up banks(even though i buy the flight/hotel/car parking by this means,but i cant buy a coffee or sandwich on board}but thats their loss.another minor irritation downloading boarding passes,i used to like printing boarding passes just in case of any problems with my phone{breakage/loss etc} but as not available till nearly the day of flight{ok outgoing flight,but incoming not ok},but minor problem, i just take a spare phone. i occasionally treat myself to extra leg room seat,but overall it is a cheap mode of transport to get away, and as such have had no problems.

Flew with Wizz 2 months ago. I checked in online but my printed boarding card wouldn't scan when I got to the airport for express security. I went to the Wizz desk and they printed me a boarding card there and then, no cost.
When I flew they delayed the 1st flight by 2 hours then cancelled the return flight, and the second return flight was delayed 2 hours again, they paid compensation to everyone on the flight 1 year late, they even got on the news for doing that

Wizzair is ok, i paid 10€ flight and everything worked, except check in. I had to try a few times on the phone but worked in the end. But when my train ride from the city to airport cost 11€ it's a joke😂how can can even happen.
Terrible company. Hidden costs, terrible passenger service etc. Have a friend who used to be a pilot there and he told me they’re always fatigued, pressured to fly when not fit to fly etc.

Sorry to hear that! It's true... their customer service department sucks. Barely got repllies and if I got one it wasn't exactly helpful. At least you got some of the money back by using the services of an external provider which, if you are flying outside of the EU or the US/Canada is basically impossible.

Just had a 5 hour delay from London to Vienna. No apologies. All the fault of AirTraffic Control but they are yet to reduce the evidence. never again. And when you add baggage they are not even cheap.

I've taken Wizz Air many many times, they only dealyed once for 6 hours, but generally I'm satisfied with them. I got a refund from the delay too. What happened to you suitcase? Usually ground crews that handle your suitcases are separate companies.

They didn't work on my case. 2 weeks later when I returned to the airport they couldufind my case anymore and advised me to contact Wizz Air directly. Wizz Air told me that they can only help me If I have proof from a Swiss government agency that estimates the damaga value - after I asked them what agency would issue such a report they admitted not knowing about it's existence...😂

I've just had a cancellation. It's all very well of them to tell me to rebook, but I've already booked coach tickets and overnight accommodation - that can't be refunded - to coincide with the original booking, so I've lost about £80!

For several airports in the Balkan there is not much of a choice. You have to fly Wizz Air. Like it or not.

The "best" was when they sold 240 tickets for a 200 place airplane. So, I was three hours earlier in the airport but I had to go to a cold hotel: no lunch, no dinner. Only coffee but I never drink coffee in my life. + not at midnight.
Worst low budget airline in Europe with delays and cancellations.
Also famous for refusing to pay compensations and avoiding court costs .
Airline just offered 5 Euro voucher at airport as "customer care " for 4h delayed flight.
What should I buy for 5 Euro at airport?A coffee and be hungry?

I fly wizz for 3 years now about 10 times a year and NEVER had any problems with their online check in - its simple, works fast without any delays. the flights are very often delayd

I've just had a cancellation. It's all very well of them to tell me to rebook, but I've already booked coach tickets and overnight accommodation - that can't be refunded - to coincide with the original booking, so I've lost about £80!

You're welcome. Please make sure that you are on the official website of wizzair (www.wizzair.com). As far as I know, Wizzair currently does not offer transatlantic routes. This is most likely a scam.
