A beautiful area! Visited here 14 years ago in late Spring (after heavy late snowfalls) so just able to get through from the West Side in the tour bus. Unfortunately not many possibilities to go hiking on an Old Foggy's group tour but the little done made me aware of the advantage of being domiciled at 3000ft+ at home. No sign even on Pike's Peak of any altitude problems that had once affected a young Brazilian companion in the Swiss Alps. Going directly to 4000M+ in Peru a few years earlier had been an education though! 😉😊
