I don't know what I expected Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to look like but that was different. And probably what I should have thought. What a cool place to visit. And that waterfall.....😍 What a fun trip!

Aloha!! Never thought about the park smells before.. lol. Volcano counts as a cave imo. 8:19 I said "that's so cool" like 2 seconds before you did. It looks like an episode of Doctor Who, I bet it was filmed somewhere similar. Cool!! I bet visiting Hawaii totally re-invigorated your trip. This is the coolest park yet; I'll have to visit soon! I can't believe there weren't more visitors!! Oh, to be in Hawaii right now.. I'm missing out. We have snow here. Awesome stuff, keep it coming!

Thanks, bud! You should definitely go if you can. It really is like another world. And there were a TON of people there. Pretty sure this is one of the most visited of the national parks that I've been to. I try to avoid filming other people though. It was great to visit Hawaii but I missed having my car with me. I'm really looking forward to being back on the mainland, haha!

Cool video thanks for sharing! I’m going in December! How long did it take you to do the whole hike you showed in the first part of your video?

I did a few different hikes but only showed a little from each to keep the video from being overly long. The first few minutes are from Kilahuea Caldera summit via Crater Rim Trail and Sulphur Banks Trail. Then I did the Thurston Lava Tube and the Kilahuea Iki Trail (rainforest section to the Crater floor). That was probably my favorite trail. Holei Sea Arch was very short, just a walk to the overlook point.

Is there anything else you would recommend seeing while on the big island?

@@brentfaulkner1980 Definitely go to Akaka Falls. That was the best part of the visit for me. There are also free hula shows on the opposite side of the island but I didn't have time to go. Have fun!
