I just lost my dad yesterday to this awful disease. He never received the care he needed to reverse anything he was just fed and medicated till he withered away. My heart hurts for the suffering he endured. I'll miss him dearly.

Can’t remember the guy’s name but I remember watching a video last year about a guy who runs a private nursing home and switched his clients over to a whole food / carnivore diet and he had patients actually leave the nursing home because their dementia went into remission to the point where they could adequately care for themselves again.

It works . I started some of this on my parents. Was too late for mom and didn’t have the ability to get help, but she improved enough to have no other comorbidities except the cognitive decline. But she was calm enough to stay out of a nursing home. She died gracefully and my dad at 98 is improving continuously to the point that he’s got no health conditions anymore despite diabetes which I have to manage with food. He at 98 has cognitive intelligence but still has short term memory loss. Showers shaves cooks his own eggs himself. Plays poker and table tennis , sings dances etc. 3 years ago was beginning to lose his balance but he quickly bounced back.

My mother's family ate high sugar foods and nearly all of her siblings have dementia or died with it already.
This was easy to see for me cos for some reason I've grown up not eating sugar products...no deserts, ice creams, cakes etc. I do not like sugar and though ive had criticism over these 65 years it turns out I was right all along.
My grandmother was beaten to death by another dementia patient and the culprit was in part to bloody sugar! We cannot berate the offending ones like the man who beat her because he was part of the systems corruption that put them all in the nursing home in the beginning.
I love my Granny and I give compassion to the offending man because he did not know what he was doing either.

Today I happened to see this video. It was a huge eye opener for me!! In January, I had to be put on a blood thinner, and started to have nose bleeds. Went to an ENT clinic and had frequent cauterization and packings \s but continued to have bleeds. I tried to tell the doctor that it was from the other nostril that hadn't been treated, but was ignored. Finally went to the ER - 3 days in a row, having gusher bleeds in spite of packings....when an ENT doctor there discovered that the bleeding was coming from as I said. So I had a special procedure which ended my bleeding issue. However, I have had sinusitis ever since, very thick mucus which occasionally enters my windpipe, lungs and/or esophagus while asleep. Since January, I have had increasing memory issues, forgetting names of people I see weekly or have known forever, names of places and things. My left hand is shaky, my left ear has lost high frequencies and my regular signature from my right hand is often unrecognizable. Now I need to find someone to treat my sinus infection so I can hopefully get back to normal.

Amen. My family has been asking my mom's doctors to test and diagnose her for years. They say she's just got normal aging memory loss. She can't remember what day, month, or year it is or how old she is and will ask you 30 seconds after you just told her. I've seen older relatives who never had anything even close to this. The medical system has become pathetic. Shame on the medical schools, big pharma, and big agriculture.

It's simply their belief and genuine desire to make the world a better place for everyone that makes them want to do this. Not recognised enough like the pop singers or sports personalities or multi-milluonaires but enough to make a genuine deep impact out of lives. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND EVERYONE IN SUCH ENDEAVOURS.❤🙏🏽

@32:28 Shawn describes the most important way of understanding disease:
Disease is ALWAYS an adaptation to stress.
The detective work required is to find the sources of stress.
Ultimately all of stress begins with emotional trauma in our mother’s wombs. See the documentary “In Utero.”
Emotional stress results in “stinking thinking,” which leads to unhealthy lifestyles choices in all aspects of life…including living in homes made from “mold food.”

I agree about the childish way that young man is dressed. He looks rediculous. The stupid hat and cross legged posture is disrespectful to the well dressed adult sitting across from him!
How you are dressed has a huge impact on the effect you have on others. It says so much about what you think and how you feel about others. And the effect is mostly subconcious! How you dress. How you smell. How you sound. Your gestures and posture.
I moved to Costa Rica 20 years ago. At the time Costa Rician women dressed like ladies and often asked me why American females tourists "dressed like men"! (Their beautifull long hair cut short and sneakers and jeans) They thought it was ugly and unlady like. And it was!
Recently I went into the capital city and EVERY FEMALE I SAW WAS WEARING JEANS! I was shocked! And heartbroken because YES the interaction between men and women has changed! Especially the youth. And not for the good! The fact is the CHARM has gone out of the city! Costa Rica used to be famous for the warmth and dignity of the people. It was so pleasant to walk down the street. Courtesy, eye contact and smiles.. all gone! Now they act more like the uncouth Americans they used to critisize.
All in just 20 years! I fear lost forever.

Not only that, On the other hand, there are evidences from other Greek philosophers like Plato and Aristotle 2400 years go, that there was not a disease similar to Alzhemeir's. As people age they mentioned they had a little wisdom deficiency but it is n to dementia. Dementia or AD is something that you cannot live without the help of the other people. You die from AD, you cannot bath yourself, you cannot go to the toilet. There was no such disease in the history or even 200-300 years go. This is a new disease occurred more than 100 up 150 years ago after industrial revolution. Because of Air Polutions, climate changes, the garbages food we eat, autoimmune diseases, stress and modernism.

Yes, I have read the book Meditation by Marcus Aurellius he just says, when you are young use your mental power because when you get old, You mind is not that much sharp. This is not DEMENTIA. Tissue transglutaminase (tTG) is an enzyme that plays a role in many biological processes, including cell-matrix interactions, wound healing, and programmed cell death:
    Structure
tTG is a calcium-dependent enzyme that crosslinks proteins together. It's found in many tissues, including the small intestine, liver, and heart.
    Function
tTG's main function is to crosslink proteins, but it also catalyzes other reactions, such as deamidation and GTP-binding.
    Association with disease
tTG is associated with celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and type I diabetes.
    Testing
An anti-tissue transglutaminase antibody (TTG) test is a blood test that can help diagnose celiac disease. The test is highly sensitive and specific, and is considered the most specific blood test for celiac disease.

2020 they said he also has Vascular Parkinsons. My fathers health went down hill So fast. I believe my dads biggest issue was, as a child, he experienced harsh, physical beatings from his father, who was the chief of police. He didn't drink or smoke. The last 20 years of his life.. He had very dodgy sleep patterns.. his childhood memories surfaced more through dementia :(
He passed away 21/ 02/ 22. He was 1/16th of the broad muscular man he once was :(

Why is host wearing a cap ?
I think it's a distraction. It implies fun and games, yet Altzhimer is a very serious ,sobering topic.
    I suggest wearing appropriate attire.
