The purpose of the roller cleaner isn’t to save the roller but to save the excess paint it holds. You’d be surprised how much you get out of a used roller. Great video!

I use the edge close to the narrow curve to get the paint out of the gap of gallon paint cans before closing the can back up.

This was super helpful. I had no clue, I use the tip to rip painters tape with the crisp edge, but that was about it… Thank you so much for this video.

I just bought one for backpacking. I'll be testing it for: Pulling tent stakes, shaving fire starters, digging hole for bathroom, splitting small sections of branches for a wood stove, cutting cord and rope, removing weeds from a tent site, fighting off gangs of zombie armadillos.
    It should be interesting.

That will be great to see how it works out - I could see plenty of uses for it. I think this plus a utility knife could solve pretty much any job out there. Let me know how it works out K W! Also, hit me up with a subscribe if you can.

I think I prefer something with less holes in it so it can be used better as a spreader and pry tool. Those screw drivers in the handle are a real stretch from the Husky designers imagination. I kind of like the 3" Red Devil 6251 EZ Grip Multi-Purpose Painter's Tool. Simple and less holes!

Actually would not be bad as hiking/camping, but out bag think. It’s pretty light. A thing you can beat up , instead of your big knife. I’d use it to scrape off bark or split small logs. And other things can be thought up.

    • @TheTruckGuy

Agree. In my opinion, this plus a utility knife for camping, and you're set for a successful trip.

@@TheTruckGuy it’s funny how the years go by and we realize what was right before us all along, are really good tools. I bought a Japanese pull saw. Sure enough the thing is a piece of cake. My go to for cutting small pieces when it’s not worth the trouble to pull out a power tool.

I can't see many situations where those nut drivers would work. The tool is so big that you likely won't have room to turn the nut even if it fits. Eliminate those and the bottle opener so the tool can be smaller and less likely to poke you when it's on your pants. That screwdriver piece wasn't obvious for me either, funny thing is I can't even get it out without using another tool (maybe after the first time it's easier).

    • @RETRO-RANEYS-RESTORATIONS

It's not for nuts it's for tightening or loosing your spray gun.🤫

I also would like to find one with a lot less holes. I hate that every manufacturer is putting a bottle opener on everything! Hole in the pummel sucks too cause you can't hit nails down

concave blade scrapes rails and bars . sharper corner gets into trimming, the edge a rough scraper, can opener on other corner, roller scraper to get paint back from roller, the hole in middle is to take out free spinning gyrock screws (missed shots when aiming for strappings)... pull while drilling, the metal butt can be used to close cans or even to indent screw holes after taking screws out to prepare for spackle. and they should have made a paint bucket opener instead of bottle opener. because paint buckets and mud buckets are just hell to open and close by hand all day. and the hex part can be sharpened into more detail dowel scrapers. they might be good for certain tools or to incorporate rods and nuts into your packout but i havent found greatest use yet for them

    • @canolacola4353
      @canolacola4353 Рік тому

A few minutes with a benchgrinder, sander or knife sharpener turns this into a highly effective defensive weapon. It's probably not what Husky envisioned, of course.

Thank you for explaining the last 4 tools. I was so confused by the metal part on the handle. The worse part is I needed a flat head to take it out. Such a useless inconvenient tool.

@@bradleyr34ust got one and tested the slot screw driver on a Philips and it does work on a pinch, on they can't be in that tight, and you wouldn't want to take out a long, or even a medium length screw, lol

Mine has a metal bit driver built into the handle. The nut driver tools on the side of the bladed area are a complete waste. The bottle opener is a complete waste. Other than that the tool is fine and can be really good at shaving and splitting wood when you need to do that.

    • @attainableaudio4533

Obviously, you might be book smart, but I doubt you have ever used this or many other hands on tools.
Don't review tools you know nothing about.
These tools are awesome. Not for folks like you.
You would have had a little more pep in your voice if you'd ever actually worked with one.
Leave your reviews for real hard working guys who know the true value of this tool.
