I had one of these in the late 80s. Had like 2500 miles on it, and was just a fantastic bike to ride. The adjustable shocks were fantastic, as it allowed you to set the bike up for different styles of riding. I absolutely loved the bike, and wish I hadn't sold it. Had like 5500 miles on it when I sold it. Thanks for sharing the video....am 65 now, and it made me tear up a bit seeing one in such gorgeous shape.
I was way into the GPZ's at the time and I rode mine all over the place . The Kawasaki shop where I worked had mine in for a service so the owner let me take a 750 LTD to Ponca City for the mini national . I have to admit I fell in love with that LTD...it was so comfortable to ride and plenty powerful. That Spectre is a beauty and I'd love to have it . You can't go wrong with this bike . PK
Love that bike ,that 728 motor is great . Have the same in my 81 KZ 750. I wish mine still ran. It’s been sitting for 10 years. You da man Ken . Thanks for a ride down memory lane.
"Would you just look at it..... I mean, just look at it" Sharp old bike brother! All joking aside you could probably contact Ed Bassmaster, and see if skippy might visit the museum/shop.... I think he's an east coast guy? What a collaboration that would be. God bless you, your family, your crew and theirs. The wife and I love all your videos 👍👍🙏💪👊
pretty sure this was the last bike my dad owned before he gave them up. I know it was Kawasaki.. I remember it being blue and gold but this was also in the mid 90's and I was only 10 years old so it could just be my imagination. I love your channel and seeing all these bikes being brought back to life! My first bike was a Suzuki JR50 I got in the late 90's and I have had countless since....
Yes , had same. What an awesome bike. Comfortable cruiser that would get up an go when you wanted . I think it was the best looking bike around at the time. Just starting this video and hearing that sound brought back a rush of old memories. Can't believe what great shape this one is in .
If you're going to paint the engine covers, why not paint the forks and the rear shocks so the color at least matches? It's no longer orginal paint once you shot the engine covers so I don't get it.
Man! You're driving me nutso over all the 80's pavement carvers... ....When you gonna find me a late 70's 50cc GP? 😁 kidding......sorta.... I know, that's big bux...... So, I'm willing to make a lot of payments for a 8, or 79 Florett 50 5 speed!!! stocker RMC etc, or similar 5gang OG late 70's Kreidler Florett... one with a World Champion bar clamp cover.... I'll come out there in person, for it. I would buy one from ya, in need of lots of love, even. 😁
Seems to me all those used to be ugly four cylinder custom nightmares are starting to look beautiful again, and, they weren't called power cruisers for nothing

I really would love one of those "Kaplan Cycles" tank tops. I cant find them anywhere on the website.
Wholly crap, that on board volt tester, has that feature ever been done on any other 70's-80-90's bikes?
I had a brand new 1983 KW Spectre mine was gold where the burgundy color on that is. Think if was like $3200 then.

Ken get a helmet on , we want you around for awhile yet.
That doesn't look like the factory gold on the casing at all.
Seems to me all those used to be ugly four cylinder custom nightmares are starting to look beautiful again, and, they weren't called power cruisers for nothing
If only Kawasaki hadn't installed all the ugly on the Spectre range.
that was ugly back then, even more today
