I own a 23’ TRD off road tundra, 21’ Sienna XSE and 21’ Camry TRD.
What I’ve learned is the same as you said. If you’re trying to save money on gas than you bought the wrong vehicle but that being said , I use to own a 18’ TSS Tundra and that one burnt more fuel for sure. So this one is a blessing to be honest with the new gen. 💯💥💥
Last note. I love having a truck just for that 1 time I need a truck to haul something. May sound crazy I know 😂
I agree, I think I will always own a truck.
My 2017 Toyota Avalon 3.5 I drive gets an ave of 24.5 mpg at 7200 miles per yr. Also only 50009 miles on it. The wifes 2023 Toyota Camry TRD 3.5 gets an avg of 26.2 and just turned 5 K miles and drives an avg of 6k miles/yr. OIL changes/filter. I plan on keeping both these cars a long time hence i'm a stickler on maintenance and dont care about cost. Every 3000 or twice per yr. Nov/April, brake fluid exchange every 20k miles, antifreeze same, trans every 30k and it has to be toyota products not any other brand including any thing that may go wrong. Toyota is bullet proof engineering! They see me coming they say call toyota and get fluids, LOL.

Wonder if you added the cold air intake setup if you'd get some of that lost mileage back? This could be a cool real life experiment, S&B cold air intake and see the differences.
