If you actually launch it right the truck sometimes decides hello must pull power sometimes its like he said it bogs it makes you feel like its a delayed shift so you're not smacking gears with 1050-1200 depending on the PS you have. A tune fixed that issue. My dually 2021 went from 15.5-15.7 in the quarter too 13.8s with no extra power. Just removed the delayed throttle and got rid of the TQ limitation these trucks haul for what they are literally can haul and haul theyre insane

    The GMC has a 15% torque reduction on take off until 3000rpm, this is through the first 3 gears and is on all GM vehicles Gas or Diesel and has been for many years. You can turn it off with a Tuner and it makes a big difference when towing or just everyday driving. I have a 2008 H2 Hummer with a 6.2L with CAI, Longtime headers and a Tune and it runs extremely well. I also have a 2012 6.2L Silverado Z71with a Caper Shell and a 3" lift on 33/12.50/18" that has a CAI, Texas Speed Cam, Longtube Headers, Fast Intake and it is an absolute Beast. I also have a 2018 Silverado with a 5.3L that has a CAI, Longtube Headers, and a Tune that is a daily driver that runs extremely well also. I run Monster Transmissions in all my vehicles and have them all tuned with Diablo Tuners, some are tuned on a Dyno as well and both trucks are Crew Cabs.

It is true that the Ford and the Sierra have more horsepower and more torque, but they are three times heavier than the Tundra, because the Tundra is lighter than them, a difference of more than 300 kilograms, and it is closer to the ground than the Sierra and the Ford F-150. This gives you more aerodynamics, but In the end, they are cars that are not designed for drag racing. They are not suitable for rough and difficult roads, towing, and loading things.

    That F-250 don't have Sport mode? oh geez, that's the only way to make a Toyota Feel good, by beating something that wasn't even designed for Racing, wow, Toyota Tundra managed to beat a F-250 in a Drag race, a Work Truck, yeah that truck's actually designed for working, not Racing, that's like when they pass me while I'm driving the Speed limit, makes them feel like their truck's got balls by passing something that's driving the Speed limit, it's like I didn't even know we was racing, I was just driving the legal speed limit. I seen a video where a Toyota Tundra beat an F-250 in a tug of war, the problem was is that the F-250 was in Neutral the entire time, it wasn't even trying to drag the Toyota, the Toyota was the only truck smoking tires while dragging a F-250 that was in Neutral, The Winner of the Tug Of War is, the Truck that wasn't in Neutral during the Tug of War, but even in Neutral the F-250 gave Toyota a run for it's money, Toyota Felt pretty good dragging a truck that had free spinning Wheels and wasn't even in Drive, the driver was busy drinking coffee.

    the tundra technically is not even a 1500 it can't tow or haul what they do , why compare the tundra to a real work truck? Toyota tundra chassis is not even close . it's like comparing a 2x4 to a wet noodle. look up frame deflection. the tundra has a place in trucks more towards the homeowner end.rental companies also limit the Toyota to a total of 7k pounds because brakes have failed on them with more.compare it to 1500 trucks.

      @christianbryant5617 2 місяці тому +1

      @@countcuda70 you can’t just blatantly make a claim like that without context, evidence, or nuance.. it’s not the truth whatsoever. The power stroke was designed in the 1980s first of all in America. It wasn’t until the early 2000s where the AVL company you mentioned *partnered with Ford as a design *consultant. They never did much crucial design work for Ford, just gave them some insight on structural elements. And while many American brands have plants in Mexico, these are merely assembly lines. Doesn’t make the vehicle any less American because it happens to be produced in a neighboring country to an *extent. Most of these trucks are fully manufactured in the American states of Alabama and Indianapolis with some also being built in Ohio at one point. America also gave insight to Mercedes for their full size SUVs that appeal to the American market more heavily and have assembly lines in Alabama, so does this make the GLS400 an American car? No. It just so happens to have had American manufacturing input and production lines
