It's a beautiful 1980 Chevrolet Silverado BIG10 in Carmine Red. For a northern truck, it's surprisingly not full of rust holes and rot. Originally from Michigan, the truck spent most of it's life pampered in Florida, from a owner in Minnesota. A guy's gotta get this thing cleaned up, polished, and updated if I'm considering selling it to someone who can actually use it and enjoy it. Mozzle bring you along for the ride I suppose. On the list is painting the wheels, oxidized paint correction & paint polishing, interior work, door panels, bed rails, engine compartment detailing and more! Subscribe for Part 2!

Started watching when the man rescued a rusty old dero Chavelle, got it running in a motel parking lot n drove it 600 miles home with a chassis held together with Duct tape and a floating front end, gotta say I was kinda impressed and subscribed to see more. Now the tips n tricks of a budget spruce up made me grin n taught me a trick or two, all good, I'm watching more. Cheers for that.

Awesome video! Another way to paint rims is using playing cards/postcards trick. I've used it a bunch of times and it works great and it looks factree 👍

glad you enjoyed! That does work, just hard to get paint around the lip of the wheel because the card is laid against it

For the chequerplate on the bumper I use a small sponge and dab the paint on and it gives it a really nice ripple effect and makes it easy to cover. Thanks mate

I absolutely love those trucks. Some how, GM knocked that generation of trucks out of the ball park for me. They look good stock, they look good with mods.

Love the trash bags for wheel grinding. I made a brake bleeder from a plastic water jug and some air hose fittings. Put it online to show my friends and they thought for sure it was a bong! I also made a smoker machine from a paint can. I am sure you can do all that too but I am a retired 56 yo woman that used to sell real estate and have loved all my hot rods as a kid. I am still looking at the 69 Super Bee. Its orange and looks line Dukes of Hazzard ride. They guy wants 29 grand and it has that electronic dash like I saw you bought for that Chevell. That was holding me back but now I might just buy it if its still available. Thanks for all these demos. I love doing this stuff myself. I am contemplating painting my 95 Trans Am myself. Got all the equipment and more that I need. I love Harbor Freight too. U break it they just give u a new one. Home Depot is not that friendly!

Love your videos! So much inspiration. I'm 24 years old and attempting to restore a 88 Mercury Cougar Xr7. It's got the typical 302 leaky rear main seal and I about threw up when I saw she has 4 catalytic converters still. She's actually in great condition though, 85k original miles on the motor and the interior is all there and original it's got the red leather and "premium" sound system. She needs painted and a dent or two popped out but watching your videos gives me much motivation!!

I always steam cleaned the engine and waxed cars that I wanted to sell. I liked how Derek cleaned and repainted the rims. It's also important to do regular maintenance while you own a car
People can tell when a car has been treated well.
