Yeah me too, I test rode a Grom and it felt awesome! Even though I already have a 125, which is a Honda Varadero '04, I was tempted. And mine has a 125cc V2, which shows that Honda really knows their small engine game :D

Awesome video man! I own one of these little dudes myself. Wanted a Grom for a while, but wasn't realistic. Now that it made sense to get one I held off and waited for the Z125. I test rode a friends Grom and this thing definitely has more pull then a Grom. One thing I wish Kawi did was create a more marketable name though. Grom sounds cool. Z125, sounds forgettable. Glad you liked it Chase!

For your 500,000 subscribers video you should do a first ride of a horse. Yes, the living creature horse. Talk about it's upright seating position, 'horse'power to weight, and that it really has a personality compared to other bikes you've ridden xD It would be a lot of fun to watch.

Good video. The longest I've seen on the new Z125 as most Z125 vids so far are like 5 minutes max (if that). And just so you know; it is a 2017 model. There is no 2016 Kawasaki Z125 in North America. In the US you get the lime green and also the gray, but in Canada we only get the lime green colour. I think in Europe and/or Asian there is also a orange-redish colour too. I ...hopefully I will be in the market for my very first bike in 2017 and the Z125 is on my list. I think it will be a great learning to ride bike for around town. I own a mid-size SUV so if I need more utility or highway runs I can do it in that. Thanks for posting this video. Cheers! :)

They have, it's just not available in the US. It's marketed as either an A1 or A2 bike over in the UK and doesn't meet US standards. It's the Yamaha YZF-R125. It looks just like a R-6 just a lot smaller.

I think something like this would be good for someone who has a 10-15 minute ride to work..who also wants to get a more powefull bike down the road. You learn to get used to shifting, steering and all that. It's imo a better option than a moped.

Picking up the Sage Green shortly here in 2023 it just called to me. Minty McMinibike. A few changes but honestly not much. Intake, exhaust, rear rack, done. It’s gonna cost me like two bucks a week to go back and forth to work. You can spend a thousand bucks or more and gain 1 hp. Nah, maybe a Bride seat too. It’s just giggles all over

17:57 The max speed is not 60 mph. It depends on the total weight of combined of you and your gear riding on this bike , if you're going on a flat, up hill, or downhill, if the bike is 100% stock or if mods have been made, and whether or not you go into a full tuck.
I've seen the max speed on this and grom vary from 50 with a 200 pound rider going up a fairly steep hill, to another rider on flats with no mods 189 pounds maxing out at 67 mph.

After watching your review, I really want to test ride one to compare the riding feel and position to the Grom. Riding the Grom reminds me of my Z50 I had and the posties I've ridden since. I think the Grom seems more "honest" - it's not trying to pretend to be a sport bike by cribbing the look of a faster bike or put you in a racing position, it's doing its own thing. If the Z125 does feel like riding a regular bike then I'd think I'd be less interested it. I guess there's only one way to find out!
