Yeah me too, I test rode a Grom and it felt awesome! Even though I already have a 125, which is a Honda Varadero '04, I was tempted. And mine has a 125cc V2, which shows that Honda really knows their small engine game :D Much love from Germany to the both of you
+CRO3 Noticed that 🙄 I guess the headlight is close ish to the Z800 but I thought they should have made the headlight on the Z800 closer to the headlight on the Z1000 also haha. I love the looks of my Z1000.
I absolutely effing love that you did the intro with an 8bit mix... Totally matches the ridiculous(ly fun) nature of these low displacement city bikes.
Gotta love tiny bikes! Got a '94 DR125SE myself, baby dual sport. Never thought ripping down gravel roads could be so fun. There's so much you can get away with on 'em, and they're indestructible. Love the vids Chase! Keep up the good work!
Awesome video man! I own one of these little dudes myself. Wanted a Grom for a while, but wasn't realistic. Now that it made sense to get one I held off and waited for the Z125. I test rode a friends Grom and this thing definitely has more pull then a Grom. One thing I wish Kawi did was create a more marketable name though. Grom sounds cool. Z125, sounds forgettable. Glad you liked it Chase!
For your 500,000 subscribers video you should do a first ride of a horse. Yes, the living creature horse. Talk about it's upright seating position, 'horse'power to weight, and that it really has a personality compared to other bikes you've ridden xD It would be a lot of fun to watch.
My daily bike is a CG 125 ESD 15/15. Google it, want a more powerful bike after almost 2 years with that one, but i love that bike, made some short travels with it and had a lot of fun and I'll always remember her
chase can u make a video like 10min long of u just going around mountain motersport and just looking at bikes and explaining all the main features of the bikes that catch ur eyes
Good video. The longest I've seen on the new Z125 as most Z125 vids so far are like 5 minutes max (if that). And just so you know; it is a 2017 model. There is no 2016 Kawasaki Z125 in North America. In the US you get the lime green and also the gray, but in Canada we only get the lime green colour. I think in Europe and/or Asian there is also a orange-redish colour too. I ...hopefully I will be in the market for my very first bike in 2017 and the Z125 is on my list. I think it will be a great learning to ride bike for around town. I own a mid-size SUV so if I need more utility or highway runs I can do it in that. Thanks for posting this video. Cheers! :)
They have, it's just not available in the US. It's marketed as either an A1 or A2 bike over in the UK and doesn't meet US standards. It's the Yamaha YZF-R125. It looks just like a R-6 just a lot smaller.
I think something like this would be good for someone who has a 10-15 minute ride to work..who also wants to get a more powefull bike down the road. You learn to get used to shifting, steering and all that. It's imo a better option than a moped.
Picking up the Sage Green shortly here in 2023 it just called to me. Minty McMinibike. A few changes but honestly not much. Intake, exhaust, rear rack, done. It’s gonna cost me like two bucks a week to go back and forth to work. You can spend a thousand bucks or more and gain 1 hp. Nah, maybe a Bride seat too. It’s just giggles all over
Can you try to find a MV Agusta Brutale 800 Dragster RR to do a First Ride. its probably going to be really hard to find something like that in GA, but its worth asking. Great video series keep it up!
This was my first bike and I miss it but realize I need something a bit bigger but in the same height ranger of the z125 as I’m 5’2 and feel comfortable flat footing things
Elijah Baxter see, that's my thing, I've never ridden a motorcycle in my life and I'm looking to buy my very first one... something like this would probably be perfect over say a 600 or 750...
Elijah Baxter Thanks to this Great video i decided to buy the 2018 z125pro ✌been soo happy fir one month already!!! Already did the first mods nd first oil change 👉😎 now just practicing on my wheelies 🏍 !! i even open a motovlog hahaha🙈
I'm amazed that c2w hasn't gotten on the hype train like most other motovloggers and bought a grom or the z125 yet. But I'm thankful he hasn't kinda sick of everyone having one now.
17:57 The max speed is not 60 mph. It depends on the total weight of combined of you and your gear riding on this bike , if you're going on a flat, up hill, or downhill, if the bike is 100% stock or if mods have been made, and whether or not you go into a full tuck. I've seen the max speed on this and grom vary from 50 with a 200 pound rider going up a fairly steep hill, to another rider on flats with no mods 189 pounds maxing out at 67 mph.
It would be great a 125 "supersport" review, Yamaha YZF, Ktm RC125, CBR 125... any of these bikes. It would be quite helpful, congrats for your channel.
Mr. Frag Thanks to this Great video i decided to buy the 2018 z125pro ✌been soo happy fir one month already!!! Already did the first mods nd first oil change 👉😎 now just practicing on my wheelies 🏍 !! i even open a motovlog hahaha🙈
It looks exactly like the Z1000 minus the front headlight area. It'd be cool if someone bought one and did a conversion so it had the newer Z's front end.
Thanks to this Great video i decided to buy the 2018 z125pro ✌been soo happy fir one month already!!! Already did the first mods nd first oil change 👉😎 now just practicing on my wheelies 🏍 !! i even open a motovlog hahaha🙈
I don't have enough to buy out a bike but I have enough to finance a Z125/Grom. Probably going to be my first bike regardless of what people say. I think it would be plenty fun and I live close to everything around me anyway. Also can't beat the $20 per month insurance
After watching your review, I really want to test ride one to compare the riding feel and position to the Grom. Riding the Grom reminds me of my Z50 I had and the posties I've ridden since. I think the Grom seems more "honest" - it's not trying to pretend to be a sport bike by cribbing the look of a faster bike or put you in a racing position, it's doing its own thing. If the Z125 does feel like riding a regular bike then I'd think I'd be less interested it. I guess there's only one way to find out!
Another small bike that is fun as hell is the Yamaha TW200. Id like to see the price on those come down just a little though compared to the these little naked bikes.
kawaski all day everyday BABY. My girlfriends too short to ride a full sized bike so I'm buying her a z125 pro. she's like 87 lbs so she may get that thing over 67 😂
When are you getting the green Z125? I love mine. I usually pick it over my other bikes to go places when I run errands. That means that I have to check the map to find ways to get places without highways but I see so much more. It is really awesome! I enjoyed the video.
chase I'm coming down to Texas and wanted to see if I could meet you guys or if you could ride to come see me that would be awesome to finely meet you I have watched you Jake and Dan and 6ft for a really long time
im buying a cbr500rf black and orange as my first bike im 6,2 and loved every second doing a test ride. is it a great bike and will i get bored quickly or is it good enough
That's what I love about my Z125 the most, it's a hooligan bike, without the cops getting called!
except when you wheelie
ZackGoes Yoooooo Zack
So 67mph is the absolute limit. THAT is the information I really wanted to know. Thank you, Sir Chase of the Biwheeled Vehicles
I was so torn between this and the grom, even though this looks better I feel like Honda has that small engine game on point !
yeah they're bulletproof
Yeah me too, I test rode a Grom and it felt awesome! Even though I already have a 125, which is a Honda Varadero '04, I was tempted. And mine has a 125cc V2, which shows that Honda really knows their small engine game :D
Much love from Germany to the both of you
CHEAAHHHHHH👌🏾👌🏾
I have both the new 2017 Honda grom and the 2016 Kawasaki z125 engine on my Honda is way more responsive and better at high gears
bakerXderek what the 2017 grom looks better than the z
Yesss a video on the 125. This is the most fun bike ever. Especially if you're a beginner.
I love how close they mimicked the Z1000 shrouds and belly pan but wish they would have been closer on the headlight to the 4 gen Z1000
Z800 Tail light on there also
+CRO3 Noticed that 🙄 I guess the headlight is close ish to the Z800 but I thought they should have made the headlight on the Z800 closer to the headlight on the Z1000 also haha. I love the looks of my Z1000.

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Yeah, that about sums it up
yea i could have probably stopped there
+chaseontwowheels try out a Baja warrior 200 perfect trail bikes I had on it is like riding the 125 pro

i agree make a video about h2
+chaseontwowheels yeah do it on the h2!
Holy crap the music you chose to use in the beginning fit absolutely perfect for the bike 😂
Getting this as my first motorcycle, can’t wait to zoom around town on it lol

I have a 2021 z125 and I love it I’m part of the grom squad here in Phoenix Arizona and there’s a handful of other zs as well
Been riding a GROM for two years and I loved it! It's so fun
love the fact that you wheelie right in MMS parking lot that's great
I just picker up a 2021 Z125, I love this thing!
3:59 we all needed to hear that
My son and I watch your first rides a lot... And this one looked very fun. :)
awesome chase! you should add that perspective to every first ride! (wheelie thing)

Tokyo machine is one hell of a producer, hes one of my favorites, after only listenibg to 2 songs
I wonder what this is like with the big bore kit
I wish Yamaha or Honda would make a 150cc super moto. like a baby wr250r. pretty much a street legal crf150r.

cant wait for yamaha to jump in and make their little 125!

@@NotYourIdol330 he means a mini Moto with 12inch wheels, the r125 is a regular sized bike
Yes I wonder why Suzuki and Yamaha hasn’t done that

Very good video Chase !! in Brazil and 125 are widely used !! Big Hug From Marietta Bro !!!
Chase im a big fan of this series, and i would love to see you ride a Harley Davidson Night Rod.
5’8” ish 28 inch inseam it’s surprisingly comfortable for me maybe some bar risers too a bit higher would help
New subscriber here from Sydney Australia. Love your videos dude :)
This was my first bike and I miss it but realize I need something a bit bigger but in the same height ranger of the z125 as I’m 5’2 and feel comfortable flat footing things
The green one looks so nice
Gotta tilt them bars forward helps a ton if they hitting your knees
It's littt, I always love the music from the cinematics
I really enjoy the z 125 that i received for Christmas. I would recommend it for new riders.

Yea theres a reason for that
And that is? I don't know it and your not being very helpful.
its surprisingly good looking
Chaseontwowheels should do a first ride on larger supermotos like the Ktm 500 and husqvarna 701
Did you plan to make review on CBR650F?
I have been waiting a long time for that one myself.
i want it so bad
My dad owns one, I'm 5'10 and find it very hard to reverse it due to peg location. Otherwise it's a very nice bike
I would love to see that Bike in one of your vids Chase ;)
I've been waiting for that one too!
sadly we don't have this little bike in the UK :(
I sat on one just like that at Halls motor sports yesterday, my feet could touch the ground like a real boy.
Fun stuff buddy, thanks for sharing and have a blessed weekend.
should try a benelli 135 or grom clone with 190cc swap there so fun to ride around
They are a blast to ride!

I saw that thing when I was picking up my R3 on Friday
gotta get on that triumph Thruxton R man
You can have some serious fun with those things!
Can you make a first ride video on a Ducati streetfighter 848 if you can get your hands on one?
I believe this is a 2017 actually because of the headlight and blinker location in the front.
Can you do a video on how the gopro camera blocks/ doesnt block the visor? this is the last thing im thinking about before getting a variant helmet

FlyTour69 4'11
Christopher Stanley is your girlfriend by any chance a midget?
someone needs to import one of those 750 Yamaha scooters Cager test rode to the US.. now THAT would be fun.
maybe an engine swap with an daytona 190cc. that engine has around 23hp, sounds like fun
Chase, do you mind if I ask what you weigh? Curious if this thing can maintain 55 with a 250lb guy on it.
Could you do a couple more sport touring rides? for instance fjr1300 and triumph sprint st, or gt.
You should try a kymco k-pipe!
wonder if it would be possible to swap a ninja 300 6 speed into one of these
Always wondered what iy would be like if you engine swapped a Grom or Z125 with a 670cc harbor freight engine. I bet it would be fast and fun!

Do they sell Yamaha R15 there? You should try it..
Been waiting for this
Those Drive-by-Wheelies hahaha best part of the video xD!
i want one soo bad! im debating on either this or the grom either way im going to bore it to 150cc

Resale value on these small bikes are quite high. Can't find a used grom for less than 2k
Try to find and test the Aprilia RS 125 2t, you will be really surprised!!
"Pro" designates the manual shift. There is an automatic Z125 in other countries.
