    Going from 750cc to 125cc is quite the change, but we are loving these little bikes! We were supposed to go to the track with them this morning but it is freaking cold! 🥶
    Hopefully soon! 👍🏻

    I'm about to be buying one of these off a buddy. It was laid down once going like 20mph only damage is a couple cracks in the plastics and a dent in the exhaust. Frame is good and forks are fine. Was just dropped wh8le learning to wheelie 🤷 only $900 bucks. It's my first bike, I'm not a big dude 5ft 4in and 9ve never ridden dirt bikes or anything but I understand how to use a clutch and what not already. Super stoked to have my own. Idc what anyone says, 2 wheels is 2 wheels 🔥🔥🔥💯

      Hey Sappo! Heathers brother in the video is actually 6'4" as well, probably 230 or so and he rides a grom. I would say get to a dealership and sit on both first, one may fit you better than the other. Good luck man! :)

      There is a guy here in our small town in SW MO that is 6’1” and rides a Z125. He rides it 20 miles one way to work. His pickup cost him $110 per week for gas. Now he pays $10. He definitively sits upon tall 😂

    Very cool. Nice to hear your cross comparison of your big bike vs your 125. Riding my Monkey today in NE Florida pondering I kind of wish I could go faster then literally a big Florida deer 🦌 strolled out onto the road up in front of me and just stood there. We all know they never travel alone as I easily slowed to a crawl and out popped #2 🦌 right where my bike would have been had I been hauling butt . Needless to say I was glad I wasn't able to go faster at that point. Seems like we get to see more wildlife on these little bikes which is cool as long as we can be safe in the process. See lots of turtles and snakes milling around too. Its nice only using a couple shot glasses of fuel to go have a couple hours of bike fun too as you mentioned. I think our fuels prices will easily be over $3 this summer here in Florida... go mini motos 😉👍

    • @SALTxTHExWOUND
      @SALTxTHExWOUND  3 роки тому +2

      I couldn't agree more! The monkey looks like such a fun bike, and aesthetically appealing as well! You're right, if you were on something like the 750cc who knows, you may have been going 65-70mph? scary thought. I like the idea of being lower speed and having fun while also not attracting the polices attention bc I'm only going 40-50mph most of the time. And fuel... oh jeez, these things can go a few weeks on 1 tank haha. I still have the tank the bike came with and I'm trying to run it out bc I know it sat in the bike and is probably bad, worst part is that I've easily got anothe 100 miles before I get rid of that tank lol

    I have a Yamaha XT250 now (traded my Z125). I knew i was going to miss my Z but, I didn't know I'd miss it this much. The XT is much faster than the Z but, the size and whippiness of the Z is so dope and fun.
    That being said, for me overall, with the riding goals i have, the XT250 is the right bike for me.

    I rode a Z125 at my msf course and I was obsessed! I never knew the differences between the grom and the Z, so it's very interesting to hear about. Def like the fact that the gas tank is bigger on the Z.
    Looks like a blast. I keep going back and forth between getting a dual sport or a Z/grom as the next bike-I'll make up my mind one day🤣 have fun you two!!!🙌🏻🎉

    • @SALTxTHExWOUND
      @SALTxTHExWOUND  3 роки тому +2

      Haha they are such a blast! I was in the same boat, I’ve wanted the crf250l for years now but I knew I’d hardly ever get it off-road and their top speed is only about 10-15mph faster than a Z/grom so I opted for the Z as I can treat it more like a sport bike yet still take it off-road from time to time. 😁
