You and your dad seem to have an awesome relationship. Never seen so much smiles and laughter from 2 guys while working on the bike. Pops looks like he raised a good son.

Thanks for that. Yep we had a great time installing the kit. Speed wise it’s the same as I think it is computer controlled/limited, but it def comes up to speed more quickly.
Honda/Kawasaki wise, I think it would be best to take both of them for a spin and go from there 👍
I am an Automotive Service Tech and nothing better then a tear down and that first start!! Hairs standing dad says lol great!! Love that feeling!

Hey buddy, i ordered the 143 w/ stroker crank and V2 race head, oil cooler, full clutch kit. $725
Already have 15/28 sprockets and new chain and new City Grip tires

It was a fun install. Just an extra pair of hands is needed but with a bit more mucking around you can do it yourself. 👍

What’s the big bore kit
TKes the piston and bore out to a capacity of 143cc from standard 125cc. More torque and a power than stock after tune. 👍
its really okay if i use 143cc bore kit only ? not full one just piston and cylinder blok
Yep all good to go but you will need a fuel controller and tune for it to go right.
Any updates? Reactions of him driving it?
Sorry to say I sold the bike for dad just last month. He is having balance issues. He and I were both sad to see it go. He had a blast riding the bike when he could, so that's the main thing 👍 no dramas with the bb kit or tune.

Hey pal, i have a question.
Between the head and the manifold, theres that brownish/orange adapter. Well where that adapter mounts to that shiney silver part i can see a bolt hole but i cant see inside to see if there a bolt in there. What im asking is , is the orange adapter suppose to fit flush with the shiney thing its sitting on, have the same shape and angles? This is on the throttle side. Thanks. This is with the 143.

Hey mate. No undue noise from the rockers. Sounds same as stock.

The old boy told me the dyno guy said it made 14 on the tyre. Unfortunately he didn’t ask for a print out. Can’t wait to test ride it. Video of that coming out soon👍

@@Revmatch-mr2hu hey buddy, im getting the 143 kit with the stroker crank right now. Im thinking even with a sprocket change (15/28) we will still only be able to hit 73mph-74mph do to the rev limiter. Yeah you can raise the limiter but may blow up the engine. Do you agree with what ive said here? 72-74 ?
Yes the rev limiter dictates top speed as far as I’m aware. The old boy put on +1 on the front sprocket at hits limiter at 107km/h I think he said, and that was going up incline too. 2nd and 3rd gear is where it’s at after 5000 rpm he tells me. Raising the limiter might cause problems with little end bearing stretch but that is only hyperthetical. Best to talk to kit provider and go from there I think. Hope that helps. All I know is that your bike will be a BEAST!!
I'm not interested in increasing speed so much as not having to tuck to get to 60. Can I sit upright at 60mph (96kmph) without the rev limiter kicking in?
What brand is the bore kit ?
143cc kit from mnthbxx. It’s been dynoed and it rips. The old boy forgot to ask what it made 😂😂

No. We just put the same plug in. I don’t think the tuner changed it. The old boy would have told me. Hope that helps 👍

Can you do a test on your Z and tell me what RPM the rev limiter kicks in? I may raise it by 200. my z is in the shop at the moment thats why i cant do it myself. Thanks
Hey mate. The limiter cut in on 2nd gear right on red line. Was out on it today. 👍

Hey pal, how many hours of labor do you think a full big bore kit w/race head and crank would take a mechanic ? Its $90 an hour here
Hey mate. I’m no mechanic but the old boy and I did the bbk install in about 4 to 5 hrs tops. To do crank the engine has to come out and the cases split. Would add another 2 hrs at least, at a guess.

I think u will be close. Better to over budget than under budget.
Did you get a new fuel map for the big bore kit?
Yes mate. Bazazz fuel controller and then tuned on dyno . 👍
