The problem with X's songlist wasn't that they were boring or forgettable, they largely weren't - love or hate them -, but that there wasn't enough songs. A lot of money went into licensing small snippets of songs for the concert sections, and the main track list took a hit because of that, meanwhile the player is left with a bunch of snippets of songs they really want to play the full versions of. Especially some of which that aren't found in any other Project Diva game - like Don't Mylist Me. Now, I like the concert feature. It makes a nice "boss battle" - but I'd really much rather have had it be an arrangement of songs that are already in the game - maybe mixed up with a few snippets of new ones, which then - when you clear the concert - unlocks the full song as a stand-alone to play in Free Play mode. Or, hell, just add them to the campaign mode as well to help make grinding for charges that much easier by introducing new tracks.
The thing that bothered me the most about X was for having a small song list and even less songs for the other vocaloids besides Miku. And I love project diva for the unique MVs that were cinematic and although you could customize stages in X it didn’t feel as unique or special and just regular stages. Also the way to get modules was tedious and how free play and cloud requests were split
But remember, f2nd was wayyy kore expensive than pdx, $60 for 20ish songs +$70 for the other 20ish songs. Pdx was overall cheaper, and thats why they had to cut costs by making everything a concert like stage while making the modules WAY more detailed and polished than F2nd
Everyone : Miku needs more games and anime and MIKUUUUU. Me: *sits in the corner with more music of every vocaloid than the main Idol herself with some Kpop excluding Uni and SeeU*
A lot of people are mad about Project Diva Mega 39's, but I never got to play any of the Project Diva's, only Mirai, so I'm actually super excited for it since I'm actually able to play it. And the graphics are cute, stop bullying it ;-;
Project diva x is just sega trying out something new and thats great. I loved a lot of things from that game like the medleys and how modules actually played a role in the gameplay. And tbh i'm not even pissed off at the story mode, sure they're pretty bland but at least it's not a trainwreck. Vocaloids weren't supposed to have that much characters to begin with and im prettt sure most people were just pissed off that their vocaloid fanfics weren't in the game. Buuuut the random module drops could seriously go to hell.
Personally i liked project diva x as the 2nd best hatsune miku game, first is probably gonna be the switch exclusive miku game. X had a lots of high quality catchy songs and it had the right number of songs for a casual players. My only problem was ending up on the main menu after finishing a song.
Project diva will always have a really special place in my heart, and I’m glad i got everything I’ve always wanted out of the franchise. I’m alright with it ending off with Future Tone, even though it’s depressing to understand. I don’t think any form of Miku game will be able to revive the love that the old project diva games had. But alas, it was a FANTASTIC run, and I got to experience it since January 21st, 2010. Buying the very first miku game to be released. I’m proud to say that I feel fulfilled, and I hope you all do too.
They aren't going to give up a franchise that they are still making games with (and therefor money from). They just recently announced a new game coming to switch in 2020.
Project diva F and F2nd was so successful for psvita. But Project Diva X is kinda rushed and instead of PV for the song, its full of dancing. They also removed the double star, and the Edit PV option. Thats why out of the 3, i choose Project diva F2nd which is so successful.
When this video ended I honestly clapped. Because I've been a fan of Miku since I was 13 (19 now) and I've seen all everything you've explained pretty much unravel. I have project diva f and it was my first vocaloid game and man was that game the bomb it was so good and I remember the hype of project diva f second and finally getting it for my birthday and man it was so good and you could do so much with the edit mode (lol I remember making a god awful and cringey edit of Tiktok by kesha) and I finally bought a ps4 and got x and future tone. Unpopular opinion I loved the songs on there and medleys where outstanding to me because we never got anything like that but the hype was real when it first came out and then future tone and honestly I still play that game till this day and as I huge Miku fan it's been great to tell all my friends who didn't know who Miku was and make them play it and now they love it and honestly remember when everything went silent for like two years or however long and I remember thinking like they are either making something massive or nothing at all and then suddenly mega mix is announced and oh my god I screamed lol(got a noise complaint) but I was so happy to finally get more songs for future tone and honestly I'm buying switch for it like I did with the 3ds I literally bought it for project Mairi DX so it's really nice to watch this video and reflect on the past years and evolution of project diva so thank you for this video and honestly I just want new songssss for project diva future toneeeee( ik they're bringing out new dlc for future tone when the megamix comes out) but thank you again for this video sorry this rant was a lot
I personally am very very grateful for Project Mirai. I stumbled upon it in the Demos section of the 3DS e-Shop and it was the first time I've heard of Miku, and I've been in the Miku fanbase ever since then. I wouldn't be here watching this if it wasn't for that, so thank you Project Mirai :D
Decent video, except when you talk about Future Tone and Future Tone DX you never mention that they ported FT to PS4 in 2016 (not 2017) and DX was basically just regular FT but with all the DLC that was available to that point included on its game disc. Also, Proj Diva Extend (not extended) is not an expansion really, but an actual sequel to Proj Diva 2nd. Lastly, Project Diva 2nd didn't directly come out on PS3, but only via a PS3 conversion game called Dreamy Theater. Extend could also be played on the PS3 in that fashion. Just thought I'd clarify those facts for you, but good video overall.
I'm kinda half-tempted to do a retrospective myself, there's a lot of misinformed or ill informed info in this video. I do want to say that the video itself is well structured however, nicely edited visuals. You could work on a bit more comedic timing and volume of music to voice! (Also, I'm very sorry for doing a reverse-compliment sandwich.)
i have to admit there was a lot of misnformations in the video like the future tone port and im not actually happy with the result ,the video was quite unpolished , but i was almost complete and i dont want it to go to waste so I apologize for the errors of the video. but thx for the compliment.
I only played free version of Future Tone and bought the Sand Planet and Ghost Rule expansions. I think Mega 39s is gonna be amazing. I’m really hoping for Gumi and atleast one Teto song!!
you must have one million subs or more dude,im very relieved after watching this videos..PD(all series) never die xixixixi,we love you miku and all vocaloid 👍🏻
I played back when Project Diva 2nd# had been released on the PSP (there is a "2nd" version that's exactly like it, but 2nd# had Extend's module DLC and was compatible with PSP hacked modules ("2nd" wasn't)). Seeing the Diva series grow and come over to the west made me excited during that time. I will say that the handling of X, while something different, definitely wasn't given the time it deserved to be refined.
This is a really cool video, I do have to nit pick a little though (Of course I'm not talking about MEGA 39's, it's controversy is deserving of its own video). I noticed you never mentioned Dreamy Theater, the Original version of Arcade (before FT), and the process of bringing F to the west. Also regarding your thoughts on X, the songs weren't forgettable, it was more the music videos. Project DIVA as whole ended up expanding to other parts of Miku promotion too as well as another company getting involved if I remember correctly. Overall, you did do a good job, I recommend doing a bit of extra research when you have time though.
Really great video but you forgot the first diva arcade came after the first game it's the first diva game but with the extreme difficulty and few new songs (And you forgot the dreamy theater series but it not too important)
Honestly speaking there wasn’t really any less consistent DLC / communication / anything with Project Diva than other companies. I mean come on Kingdom Hearts 3 was anticipated for 10 years (but still arrived) but it hasn’t even been a year since the latest future Tone dlc.
I remember seing project diva when i was 8 and not knowing what system it was for since I only had an xbox and now that ive played most of them I can say proudlly its fucking amazing and to think that it was so big and popular to just die one day as much as I and many othets hate to say it vocaloid is definettly past its hay day and I wish when I was 8 I knew just a little more about vocaloid instead of being confused and making shitty headcannons id give almost anything to go back to 2006 or 2015 to expierience this once lively fandom keep the good work up man I really enjoy your content and I hope you keep on making content youve really tied up some loose ends from the past thank you my goid sir
I think SEGA messed up with a lot of things with Project Diva X,some of these are: -There's no chance time event, those events were pretty cool to watch, the difference between filling the star and see something special happen. -They didn't give a damn about the store,in the chance time you could get a new module. -The "MEDLEY" were pretty good, but I think that, maybe,it could have a lot better to add the songs one by one, instead of doing a mashup with some songs. -Bye bye Edit Mode. -Oh,and least but not less important, they missed the chance to add GUMI,if they added in Project Mirai, why not in Project Diva saga?.
I swear nintendo should play it smart and make a Hatsune miku Nintendo Switch Edition console. Just think about all the japanese people that would be willing to fork over their money for this. I mean heck I already got a switch. But i sure wouldn’t think twice in getting a Hatsune Miku Edition switch. Just take my money nintendo
While I cant imagine myself playing a miku game on a portable device, I would finally buy a switch just to get a miku version of it. Then play the 2 games I'm interested on switch and have it be a neat shelf piece.
For me I really like the concept of Project Diva X it's like those Mobile Idol games that needs a specific element to excel in that song. But what I am disappointed about X tho is it has a very few songs and There's just 1 - 2 Songs for the other vocaloids also some of the songs have a great potential to have a great PVs like Hitorinbo Envy, Streaming Heart , Umiyuri Kaiteitan , Renai Saiban etc but no they just have to make them into a lazy sing and dance pv and like the song list there's so little new modules added to the other vocaloids that Meiko and Kaito only had 7 and 6 new modules respectively and finally they remove the edit PV option which is much enjoyed in F and F2nd oh and also they didn't added anything redeeming in The DLC not even a new Teto module smh lol So in conclusion Project Diva X is a good concept but fell apart when it was executed so poorly
I REALLY hope that one of the songs added to 39's is Kagamine Hachi Hachi Flower Fight!! If it does get added, then, hopefully, it'll be one of the ten songs that'll, finally, be added to Future Tone!! Along with Cantarella ~grace edition~, and World's End Dance Hall ~f edition~. Please, please, PUH-LEESE, Crypton, and SEGA!!!! We NEED all of these songs in Future Tone!! PLEASE!!!! I beg of you, from the very bottom of my heart!! 😣😣😣😫😫😫😔😔😔
Yay Project diva F 2nd is my first project diva game. But got it on the PS3 and later brought the Project diva F on the PS Vita. Now I'm waiting on Project diva X, should be coming soon throught Amazon. Can't wait ^w^
F2nd was amazing, X can go be traded back to Gamestop for $.60, Future tone is an excuse to port the arcade ver to PS, DX is a cash grab and literal copy of FT except with 5 new things (modules, songs, and a weird camera feature), Miku 39 is the thing everyone wanted for the switch. Honestly you was right to assume PD was dead, after the backlash from both X and FTDX it seem like swag went silent. I am glad they came back with something a bit unexpected but something fans been wanting, a game on switch. Yeah they could have put it on PS vita but it’s kinda dead (except people who pirate/hack the system) and more people have a switch. It’s a good target, wide screen, and a way for sega to put a popular game on the new hybrid system. Now all the question is if it will be digital or physical. (Same question for westerners as due to language). I hope it will be both but physical comes with stickers, mini key chain or some small gift just like X
I never played on of the project diva because i never owned PlayStation consoles but I did play project diva at round 1 it was so much fun and now with the switch I can play it anywhere and everywhere I go ^-^
The director of Project diva did announce that he stepdown from the game, most project diva arcades are now sold and most Japanese arcades now only have 1 or none pd arcades in them. All we get now are ports and it's safe to say that Project diva is dead. I hate to hear it but it really did die. Project Sekai was the final nail to the coffin.
Project Diva was dead to me as soon as they insisted on only using the arcade gameplay. The new Switch one is no exception, but it doesn't look like I'll be enjoying a new Project Diva game anytime soon/at all :(
Those for who doesn't know MEGA39's will have 10 new songs including the title song and 91 will be from past PD games. Also the 10 new songs will come as DLC for Future Tone PS4 on a later date.
Lost one's weeping lily sea tale Love song Song of beginning Patchwork stacatto And somo other song are complaining with "forgettable songs on project diva x" Xd
Interesting retrospective, but I think it's important to mention that Future Tone was essentially a port of the arcade game that really changed the controls for the console version
Future Tone is the second version of the arcade game that was then ported to the PS4, but yes... the controls unless you have an arcade layout controller, did indeed change.
9:04 missed that Future Tone is a port of the arcade game so few development resources were used. And that is also why it has a ridiculous number of songs. 39s is more of a port / cobbling things together although 10 new songs. 10:16 end of history lesson
The fact that the big part of the fandom is hating on Mega39's saying it's already bad because it's basically just a 'port' with 'ugly' graphics clearly shows that they play project diva on their PS console and probably don't know the existence of people who never had a PS and wanted to play the series. If you hate this game so much, then why don't you just stick with your PS instead of whinning here? After all, you won't need the Switch game, right? Because apparently, it was announced that the Switch-exclusive songs will come as DLC for Future Tone. So yeah, all ur doing is wasting energy typing unnecessary hate. It's time for the non-Playstation players to shine now.
Making games, even ports, isn't exactly a quick task. Development of MEGA39's started in early 2018 (source: the July 18 issue of Famitsu), which means the whole time people were wondering about the inactivity of the series, they were working on the new game behind the scenes. And really, even back when FT DX was new, they said in the Famitsu interview of that game that there were further projects down the line. I'd say X is a good game. I've never played the original and F games, but I'm definitely not going to agree that X is worse than the first game (which looks really experimental; had no EXTREME and didn't even use the directional buttons), to say the least. If anything, X has a good song selection (small, but good), and is the very reason Name of the Sin and Amazing Dolce were being made in the first place. (I did read the disclaimer on X.) I also wouldn't say SEGA has given up on Hatsune Miku in general. To say that would mean to ignore everything they have done outside of the Project DIVA games. Concerts (SEGA made the models), merchandise (SEGA Prizes), mobile game crossovers (Puyo Puyo Quest and such), DIVA Arcade contests and more. I honestly think it really is more of a case of the fans getting too spoiled in the last few years, back when games came out at a more frequent rate. This video is actually quite decent, and I know research on this series isn't exactly easy. I do think it needs even more research (especially on the basic information of the games, which can be easily found in the SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project official site), but I really do appreciate your effort. One thing I'd point out is that complaints about FT DX stem more from the fact that there's a physical version when they thought there wouldn't be (a lot of gamers, myself included, like physical copies), rather than that it didn't add a lot (it was understood to be just the physical version of FT and it's no more "deluxe" than mirai DX is to mirai 2).
A couple things the pauses and awkward and out of place you talk about the pvs and show the pvs alot and you forgot a couple games other than that nice video
I actually like diva X. I don’t really play it much, but I don’t think the content was lacking so much as the appeal I guess. I’ve always been partial to the f character models as opposed to the arcade ones, so seeing them in HD was a treat. I just wish it had an edit mode, that would make it the go-to diva game for me. As for DX, I agree. It’s pretty much just a physical release and no one was compelling people to buy it. Many publishers do this. The extras songs and modules were not game exclusive as they were made available for DLC, so I don’t see the problem. For fans of the series, it’s a good collectors item and a way to support the developers. And I gotta say that it’s great to get new charts from the arcade years after the game’s release completely free. I think Sega should get credit for that. I think a lot of waning interest has to do with Vocaloid simply losing popularity. Not much you can do about it unfortunately.
Good video! However, some info you have on the early games is off. Extend was a sequel to 2nd, not an expansion pack. The games were not released officially on the ps3, but rather by plugging the psp into the ps3. Also, consider investing in a higher quality microphone. Additionally, Project Diva Future Tone is a spinoff and port of the arcade title by the same subtitle. It isn't a return to form. It lacks the Diva Room, edit mode, the fun graphics and charts of the main series. Hell, it wasn't even developed by the main diva team. Just the RnD team. Which, in fairness, the original version lacked this all, but to call a port of an arcade game a return to form of the main series is an extreme fallacy. And as fans, we should be concerned about Mega Mix. It only has 10 new songs and from what new footage we've seen, it will just use concert motions from magical mirai, no original or fun videos like the original three or 2 f games. Not to mention the 10 new songs will be added to future tone anyways. And it, once again, is being developed by their arcade division. Sega Feat. Miku Project isn't dead, but it certainly is struggling to capture what made it good and special with the original trilogy and the F duo of games.
It concerns me to see how this new game is. I heard it’s eventually going to be dlc for future tone but then again... Sega and crypton’s contract ran out so 😬 I GUESS ILL BE GETTING A SWITCH NOW
honestly, I'm not much in touch with the Project Diva series, but as far as i remember, the division that worked on those games was the AM2 division, right? Well, then I have to say that I'm impressed that there is a new game in the series, I understand that many were not happy with the Future Tone DX, I was not too much, but I know, since 2018 (if I'm not wrong), the AM2 division was in charge of working on the Sega Forever program, and as far as i remember they are the only ones that make these ports, so I think it's kinda unfair when some people say that they're lazy (when say that Sega is lazy referring to the Division responsible for the Project Diva's series), they were responsible for several ports of several old Sega games, both on the iPhone and Android (which needs to be compatible with several different devices), and even some ports for the nintendo switch, such as the recent Virtua Racing, I'm not a developer, but considering how much of the games they put into this program, they must have had a lot of work with it, although I'm also a bit frustrated by Future Tone just getting some Extra Extreme, I'm surprised that they still manage to do it and will still release a new Project Diva game (megamix 39) while working on the Sega Forever program (and I'm not sure, but I think they're also responsible for the Mega Drive Mini made in-house of Sega), I'm surprised and even thankful they still do something (even if small) to not leave the series totally dead, from what I saw through the trailers, the game looks like a Future Tone port but without some songs (probably because of the Switch cartridge size limitations) and with 10 new songs and the Toon Shader to give a new coat of paint on Future Tone, but even so, I'm glad they did it and they're doing it and even released a new Project Diva, will bring the new songs from the 39 to Future Tone as DLC. In Summary, even though it does not look like the megamix 39 will be something like F2nd, I'm glad they still managed to do this with all the work they have been having (I just hope the developers are not overworking).
@@AKIBATAKU39 You're welcome, they're we're responsible for developing many Sega Arcade games and ports of the same, such as Virtua Fighter, witch the latest installment has the engine used to make Project Diva Arcade (witch explain the plastic look of character's skins on Future Tone)
I think AM2 is behind the Project DIVA Arcade series (and FT and MEGA39's) and Project mirai series. At least, that's if I can trust (Japanese) Wikipedia sources. The PS series (original, F, X) seem to be from a different team.
@@SmashFail I think so, I remember they did the arcade, Dreamy Theater for PS3 and the Future Tone port for PS4 and Mega 39 now, but I think the first ones were another team, just not sure about the F , F 2nd and X, at least what Wikipedia says was Crypton Future Media qur developed these games in partnership with Sega (Just don't know if some development team on Sega has helped on those games or Sega just supervised the development of the games and published it)
@@Luka9S9 Crypton Future Media (the company that made the Hatsune Miku software and owner of the characters) is a virtual instrument company, and they don't make games. The confusion that they do seem to stem from their name appearing in the copyright notice, but that's because they (and not SEGA) own the characters. Japanese Wikipedia only listed SEGA Games (the consumer game part of SEGA, as opposed to SEGA Interactive who specialize on arcade games and who AM2 is under), and I'm not sure exactly which team handled the original, F and X sub-series.
what happened to this game?? I just bought project diva f the 2nd today that's what happened to hatsune project diva. also there's a manga relatively recently. I only liked the f series. i tried mirai, but it just wasn't the same level of chaos
It was actually sony that held miku hostage and pointed the gun at sega saying not to make games for other consoles... They recently got freed from the demonic contract with unreasonable demands so they left for fanservice heaven nintendo!
Yo project Diva f 2nd is also the 1st game I played too and project Diva x I loved a lot of songs in especially satisfaction and streaming heart and lost one's weeping and a couple of other songs and I actually liked the story. Actually if you're a Miku fanboy you'll love all of her games not say anything bad about any of them boi. Also how have you not mentioned the fact that Sega was in a 10 year contract with the worst gaming company of this year Sony thank God they aren't anymore
well its a part of future tone as its a song pack prettymuch. With the new switch game, some content from that is going to get patched into future tone from what I hear. Basically future tone will continue to be their constantly updated "maingame" if things go well which is fair enough considering it is THE best miku game out there.
If you play little to no project diva then dont bother but if your a die hard fan and collected lots of miku games then it depends if you like completing things then get it if you want something amazing and fun then give it a pass
X song forgettable yeah hell no that where u lost me really x songs forgettable yeah no just no, x has a great song list just no man just no come on and project diva x is not a bad game by any means, it has problems and experiments that didn’t work out but the song list and gameplay and new modules were all great
One thing Sega could do if they really cared would be to release the Project Diva games onto the PC so I don't have to Pirate them now I would absolutely buy them even though I already have them I would give Sega my money already knowing I have them it's something I really want to support currently I'm not able to

To be honest, X has one of my favorite song lists. So many songs which never see the light of day.

Yes I agree.
the taste level of the song choice for X is astronomical
Who else got goosebumps when he said “the one that started it all” and secret garden played

THANK GOD
All I want to see is "New" songs/videos featuring Luka, MEIKO and KAITO. There are so many good non-Miku songs that SEGA just won't consider.
Everyone : Miku needs more games and anime and MIKUUUUU.

if Sega gave up the Project DIVA then another company can start a new Hatsune Miku project
Maybe nintendo idk
But in reality that probably wouldn't happen (On the letting go of the franchise part)
Imagine if Miku switched to bandai namco?!? We could get a Miku styled idolm@ster 😍
They aren't going to give up a franchise that they are still making games with (and therefor money from). They just recently announced a new game coming to switch in 2020.
can we get something else besides a rythm game? i always wanted a hatsune miku character action game or an rpg
I was meh with the vid until this showed up 5:38
"What happened to Project Diva?"
X happened.
Now we're stuck with the Arcade port that rarely updates.

I wouldn't be here watching this if it wasn't for that, so thank you Project Mirai :D
i really love Miku-sama but after PS3, i couldnt be able to play in other console such as PS Vita and PS4. being poor is sad
Thanks for the correction
akibataku 39 you're welcome!
They couldn't add Gumi because Crypton Future Media doesn't own her
@@JuDa_ Like, she was in Project Mirai, though. I still have hope
@@deymars4910 she was in Mirai because the nendoroid company had a license for her, there is no hope
And why did you bought two songs? I don't thinks it's fun to play a game that only has four songs in total...
@@alex-8736 they gonna steal them rights an make this game 🐛
you must have one million subs or more dude,im very relieved after watching this videos..PD(all series) never die xixixixi,we love you miku and all vocaloid 👍🏻
Really great video but you forgot the first diva arcade came after the first game it's the first diva game but with the extreme difficulty and few new songs
(And you forgot the dreamy theater series but it not too important)
8:46 I subscribed because of that😂
I have all the PSP Project Diva and the future Tone DX and having it for 3 years now I still love the games
I think SEGA messed up with a lot of things with Project Diva X,some of these are:
-There's no chance time event, those events were pretty cool to watch, the difference between filling the star and see something special happen.
They are already releasing a Project Diva game on Switch
i would perosonally sell my soul for that
While I cant imagine myself playing a miku game on a portable device, I would finally buy a switch just to get a miku version of it. Then play the 2 games I'm interested on switch and have it be a neat shelf piece.
For me I really like the concept of Project Diva X it's like those Mobile Idol games that needs a specific element to excel in that song.
But what I am disappointed about X tho is it has a very few songs and There's just 1 - 2 Songs for the other vocaloids also some of the songs have a great potential to have a great PVs like Hitorinbo Envy, Streaming Heart , Umiyuri Kaiteitan , Renai Saiban etc but no they just have to make them into a lazy sing and dance pv
and like the song list there's so little new modules added to the other vocaloids that Meiko and Kaito only had 7 and 6 new modules respectively and finally they remove the edit PV option which is much enjoyed in F and F2nd oh and also they didn't added anything redeeming in The DLC not even a new Teto module smh lol
So in conclusion Project Diva X is a good concept but fell apart when it was executed so poorly
Huh, now the Blue Crystal makes sense
What blue crystal?
thehatter 03 Meiko’s module from Nostalgic. The belt for a bra, Meiko outfit
Project Diva was dead to me as soon as they insisted on only using the arcade gameplay. The new Switch one is no exception, but it doesn't look like I'll be enjoying a new Project Diva game anytime soon/at all :(
You need more subs!!!
Edit: I love your critica ❤
Those for who doesn't know MEGA39's will have 10 new songs including the title song and 91 will be from past PD games. Also the 10 new songs will come as DLC for Future Tone PS4 on a later date.
Lost one's weeping
lily sea tale
Love song
Song of beginning
Patchwork stacatto
And somo other song are complaining with "forgettable songs on project diva x"
Xd
I actually really like Project DIVA X. That's just me though.
@Gabriel Villalobos Ah okay... I forgot about the letter revisions of pre-FT... Thanks for that!
@Gabriel Villalobos There's a Version B (the current version) for Future Tone too.
You are so underrated!
Thank you for your comment! if you want to see more miku stuff check out the video I made about Miku being in an anime , you will enjoy it !
Great video!
(I did read the disclaimer on X.)
I also wouldn't say SEGA has given up on Hatsune Miku in general.
He also forgot additional details, like how FT was actually a port and the concert models now being the PD models.
Am I the only one who wants the amazing opening animations back or
In my opinion I like X I think it’s good they have some good songs
I agree with your comment on x actually , infact i would not call it a failure more a misoppertunity
0:00 aww
I hope meiko at least gets one song in the new game
Honestly I really love the project diva x song list but they could have added more songs, and that would have actually made me love the game if it did
And edit mode
I got a Project diva ad fro this video
You need way more subs
rhythm games never die here in Japan
Project diva got sucky when they started using project diva f/f2nd models in their openings
(Except for future tone)
It concerns me to see how this new game is. I heard it’s eventually going to be dlc for future tone but then again... Sega and crypton’s contract ran out so 😬
I GUESS ILL BE GETTING A SWITCH NOW
Depending on reviews of course 👀
honestly, I'm not much in touch with the Project Diva series, but as far as i remember, the division that worked on those games was the AM2 division, right?
Thanks for the clarification and info, (i was not even aware that the project diva division had a name)
Japanese Wikipedia only listed SEGA Games (the consumer game part of SEGA, as opposed to SEGA Interactive who specialize on arcade games and who AM2 is under), and I'm not sure exactly which team handled the original, F and X sub-series.
i had project diva x for a while and i still don't know the button like the arrows
I actually like the songs in pdx but i agree that the story was meh and forgetable
Damn i got recommended this video after the news that project diva is basically dead
what happened to this game??
The video is spot on but i think you need to upgrade the microphone
what microphone models do you recommend me to chose? , theres so many out there and many of them need softwares to render .
How do you have 46 subs wtf

Am I the only one that thought project diva x was one of the best games?
not a chance its not that bad actually.
Sorry Sony, but it’s Nintendo’s turn now 😈
*a soul for a soul*
What about Project DIVA Colorful Tone?
well its a part of future tone as its a song pack prettymuch. With the new switch game, some content from that is going to get patched into future tone from what I hear. Basically future tone will continue to be their constantly updated "maingame" if things go well which is fair enough considering it is THE best miku game out there.
@@vrapbrap thanks for answering!
Mega 39 was honestly a fail in my opinion
