Just bought a 2007 K2500 Chevy Silverado LBZ Duramax Crewcab LT3 with 150,000 miles. Taking it for Fluid Film next week to protect it. So far so good. Truck is from MO - The Show Me State. Hope she shows me a good time! Good Video!

Honestly I have had all three and had no problems but I think these are all great trucks as long as you take care of them properly

Definitely a big emphasis on the pump rub issue you briefly touched on. If you have 4x4… If you cannot find evidence of the upgrade or fix being made, expect on pulling the case to do so. Sooner the better. Also it looks salty in your area. Fuel lines, fuel cooler and brake lines love to pop after years of salt exposure.

I just got a 2003 sierra 3500 dually with 164k miles for 3k! It was a fuel/work truck but it's in great shape.

I have a 2001 Chevy 2500HD Duramax with a Allison and a 2004 Chevy 3500 8.1L gas with a Allison transmission. I like the 2001 body style better , the hood and headlights

Balance rate test must reference the calculated fuel rate to be meaningful. Run it hard and then check rad hose too.

Definitely make sure pump rub has been addressed if it’s a 4x4.

This is my Humble opinion. The parking brake. Set it every time you stop. The GM pickups at work. The guys would not set the parking brake. The Lights would come on when Without setting the parking brake. I think that puts load on lights, why do they burn
out. Also it puts load on the battery. I remember many times when I had a Dead battery for no reason. Just saying.

Strange to see one like my 02. Same color and a hard ARE bed cover. Clear coat is peeling on mine. Is basically stock. Bought new. 300,000 miles on it. Just routine maintenance. I caterpillar oil filter. Changed oil and filter at 5000 miles and transmission fluid and filter at every 3rd oil change. Just like the battery commercial it just keeps going and going and going, 21 years so far.

Those years didn't have lift pumps and if they did they wouldn't have to cut a hole in the bed to get to it

I'd not cut the hole just unbolt the bed and lift it off so it's good and then can clean and treat the frame while it's off of it & don't have to hack the bed up
