Yea bro, crosshair placement, practicing on hitscan, and literally almost every other tip that you didn't call out helped me out a lot. Gotta say, this title stuck true to it's words. :)
1:57 I'm not sure how much I agree with "You don't have to be super accurate with Genji" since actually hitting your shurikens is pretty impactful when it comes to diving targets and getting out quickly, as well as whether or not you win in most 1v1 situations, but when talking about Dragonblades then ye ig you don't have to be that "accurate".
My dumbass was playing with low sensitivity and 400 dpi on a mouse capable of 4000. When I finally bumped up the dpi and the sensitivity, my aim improved significantly. You'd be surprised how many people don't know how to use what they have.
The funny thing is that he used "I changed from a laptop to a pc with this monitor" as an argument for getting it. Yeah no shit changing from a laptop to a desktop pc is gonna improve some things about gaming, but really the 144hz monitor isn't really necesary.
@@inetkaxer5464 It is necesary if you want to become very good, i went from platinum to grandmaster in 2 weeks when i upgraded to 144 hz. My aim got 5x better and everything feels like easy mode
the best way I personally found to be more accurate with Genji's shurikens is at first I started using the spread burst at extremely close range, then use his primary straight line burst at extremely close range, then slowly progress to farther ranges with it and you'll start to ease into being more accurate and kind of understanding the aerodynamics of his shurikens, and don't forget to repeat this process every now and again for a while just so you can fully adapt to using his shurikens, whether it be from closer range to longer ranges. I hope this helps.

#1. Find your sensitivity #2. Have good hardware #3. Good crosshair placement #4. Only play hitscan #5. Master movement #6. Grind FFA (custom games) #7. Play the game a lot
Also, sensitivity on PC depends on how you physically aim. Someone who uses most of their arm to aim with have a much lower sensitivity because they move more distance with the mouse. A wrist aimer needs higher sense since their mouse moves very little.

I have a tip for players who watch a lot of overwatch videos to get better. Keep doing it but if you find that you are never improving. Write some things down. Writing things down will definitely help you remember it. And keep it on your desk or near your tv when you play so you can see it. You will definitely improve.
Nice video! Could you make make an video about how to inprove overall? Like what do you need to become a better player like aim, positioning, who to focus, map movement, like its so mutch easier for the bronze and low rank players to have an video with all the things you must inprove on in 1 video instead of watching so many video's but then you maybe miss to inprove on positioning or maybe at map movement?
Another great video. These videos really helped me improve a lot in Overwatch. Keep up the great work :D How about a guide on which heroes are suited best for each map?
I dont think people understand the difference between console and pc.. I was GM on pc, effortlessly. I started playing pc recently and HOLY CRAP... Movement, mindstate, aim, etc.. its ALL different. Forget what you knew on console, you entered hard mode lmao Over the course of a few days, Using some aim trainers and such.. I've managed to learn how to track and flick some what effectively. Thank you for making this video, its helping a lot 😁
I agree with tip #2. I play Overwatch on my laptop, and get 15 fps most of the time. Now starting to get around 20-25 fps. I'm in bronze(PC) and on console I'm in mid gold. I'm saving up to build my own PC, and hopefully I can climb out of bronze
Higher sense allows to flick on enemies and switch targets faster but requires a lot more aim drilling to be consistent. In CS GO that split second can decide everything as you can kill enemy in an instant. In overwatch fights are continues and much more chaotic, so the same benefit makes almost no difference. So lower sensitivity is a must, otherwise you will have to spend hours drilling aim and get frustrated when you wiff simple shots because you stopped drilling aim. However, higher sensitivity is a must for characters like tracer, reaper or any character who's effective range is in your face. On very close distances you need to flick much wider and 180 often.
Dont know if you'd be interested or able but seeing a breakdown between the average player (gold or so) versus the higher rank players in terms of how the high ranked player does what the average player doesn't as a sort of play by play would be interesting and informative even if it's made of hypothetical situations from custom games. Keep up the good work.
Budget tip if you want a high refresh rate but you don't have any money: Go CRT! CRT's are might be bulky and old, but they have 0 inputlag, a lot of them can go higher than 100 Mhz and are cheap (if not free). I myself have a ''normal'' monitor for work and such, but a CRT for Overwatch and some other fast paced games. Make sure though you have a dedicated VGA input though, since those cheap HDMI to VGA might at input lag. A trick you can use is to buy a cheap graphics card like a GT710 and switch in your settings the ''modern'' GPU as the default GPU, it should route your ''modern'' graphics card power to the budget one with VGA.
Practice practice practice, if you're like me, when I first started I thought uhg I'm never going to have good aim, it'll take me years! But I love overwatch competitive and I kept grinding anyways although my aim was complete trash and it really frustrated me. I'm now diamond 3 months into overwatch and I'm almost masters. One thing that REALLY REALLY helped me was realizing aim is muscle memory guys, it's not about "following your cursor and trying to hit your shots" I didn't understand this and your reaction time isn't fast enough to "line up the perfect shot", aim is basically all muscle memory. So realize it takes TIME to see results.
@Mexican Hacker Basically, if you're trying way too hard to stare at your crosshair and line up a shot. That's not how you aim really, certain situations like someone is standing still yeah obviously hover over their head and click it but a lot of aim is just muscle memory, your brain will remember how far you need to flick to the right or left and it'll just become natural eventually. Tracking is a little different, it is basically "keep your crosshair on the target" but it's still muscle memory
@Mexican Hacker just whatever you do, find a sensitivity you like and never change it. Like I said, aim is muscle memory, as soon as you change your sens, the fundamentals are there so yeah you'll hit some shots but your aim is going to be way off because your muscle memory isn't programmed to that sensitivity. Imagine a basketball player shooting a 2 pound ball their entire life, and now you tell them to shoot a 5 pound ball. It's not going to be the same. Basically, stop trying so hard to aim. Let it come naturally through practice, watch surefours aim guides. Think of aiming as like a game of hit the dot before it goes away. It's reactionary. You don't think of aiming at the target, you just do it. You see the object, you try to click on it as fast as possible. That's basically aiming
@Mexican Hacker Watching surefours aim guides really open my eyes to a lot of things and how it's done. Like OSU or guitar hero on super hard levels. It's muscle memory
@Mexican Hacker Good luck, just remember with anything. It won't come overnight, it won't come in 1 week, it won't come in 1 month, maybe not even 6 months or more. Some people have been playing FPS their entire life using a keyboard and mouse, 10+ years dude. You just have to play A LOT and I mean a lot to catch up. It takes a lot of freaking time man, even me. I'm only diamond but I've only been playing overwatch for 3 months, this is my first PC FPS but I've grinded a lot in 3 months and I'm already better than the average player. Most people have been playing overwatch since it came out and they are still plat chat. Like I said, I'm only Diamond but I played 800 games my first competitive season (season 18) and I played 600 games in (season 19). I still have to improve my mechanical skill but when I first started playing it frustrated me so much how bad my mechanical skill was, I literally couldn't shoot people right in front of me barely moving. I was horrible. Time is the willingness to get better is everything!
The way a lot of parents think actually, is that by not letting us play daily, we will eventually give up and get bored of it. In the end its them trying to protect us (addiction). Ana vods and tips would be good. I'm really having a hard time with her. The mix between projectile and hitscan makes it complicated. Some people says better to learn tracking, others flick shots, other aim prediction.

You're just throwing out excuses. There are plenty of pros who got to top 500 in worse conditions. There's a ton of GM players playing on 60 fps. You don't need an upgrade
Yo dude, I've been watching your (and some other channels like this one but mainly your's) videos lately and trying to follow your tips, I just hit Diamond with dps with a 78% winrate on Tracer maining her with more than 3 hours with her this season and after 12 seasons of being a hardstuck dps main, ty very much. Guess I can't be called PlatChat anymore.
Btw the most useful tip this channel have done ever was recommending to warm up on Tryhard FFA, started doing that shit lately and my winrates stoinked, even played against Shaz's Tracer/Bap twice
Damn then I guess I cant play overwatch then since I dont have the time. With a full time job, running errands, spending time in my relationship guess I can never be a good overwatch player. Thank you for answering my biggest question about if I had time for the game. I cant improve if I only have 2 to 3 hours of my life to give to the game. Looks like I'm done with trying to get better at the game and I'll just focus on other things in life.
Definitely up to preference. Mess around with it. I use crosshairs for Hanzo with bloom on and I have a near invisible circle for Widowmaker because I found it too distracting while zoomed in. I also messed around with no crosshair for her but long distance shots were a little difficult

I have nearly 100 hours with widow and my aim still sucks. I sometimes don‘t even dare to play widow in ranked because I miss too many shots in order to have enough impact. I watched Surefour‘s videos a long time ago and tried to improve, but it still doesn‘t work :(
100 hours isn't nearly enough to develop a skill. If you compare it to an instrument after 100 hours, congrats you've finally broken your fingers in, ready to start learning? Also, it doesn't matter if you miss so does everyone else. There is a lot of context that applies to landing shots and the situation might not be entirely under your control. Do you have space to work with? Being pressured by the enemy? Are you taking easy or hard shots? If you're not confident in your aim maybe make call-outs and focus one enemy (if Widow tags the body, damn near anyone should be able to clean up the kill on a squishy)
Can you do a video on how to increase fps on Overwatch? So far, I've tried every tutorial but I can't find the correct one. Is it possible if you can do a tutorial? Amazing video about aim btw. You're just throwing out excuses. There are plenty of pros who got to top 500 in worse conditions. There's a ton of GM players playing on 60 fps. You don't need an upgrade
Wheres tip 7? And the console specified tip?
also customise ur crosshair. I swear it makes a huge difference
at 3:00 i looked 10 hours for this!
Good guide.
Danm, I feel inspired.
Looks like I'm done with trying to get better at the game and I'll just focus on other things in life.
that's... rather depressing. 2 hours is still a heck of a lot time. but real life is still more important than some game.
Do crosshairs make a difference?
Definitely up to preference. Mess around with it. I use crosshairs for Hanzo with bloom on and I have a near invisible circle for Widowmaker because I found it too distracting while zoomed in. I also messed around with no crosshair for her but long distance shots were a little difficult
Can you make a video on movement itself?
THANK YOUU!
Why is the title 7 tricks if there's only 6 tricks in the video?
ExeTheEnhanced pay for game whatever dot com
A low sens is bad low sens are just a mechanichal band-aid with higher sens you can improve better for OW id recommens 28cm to 11cm/360
could you pls make a mccree guide because im stuck in diamomd for like 8 seasons now and dont seem to improve
Dredd i’m not him but i can Give you some advice:
1 use a low sens and practice on hitting headshots
2 never flank, stay with team so you can be safe and protect supports from flankers
3 forget about the 5 kills with highnoon..use it whenever you can instead. A single, good kill can change the fight
4 have fun
I started from season 1 i have been all seasons in gold sooooo 😔
@@blablabla3210 thx ill definitely try these tips
@@KoivulaEetu that sucks man but im sure youll improve eventually
@@leonbirt4311 naah bc overwatch has MMR system that thinks that im a gold player.
But I dont think that I should be in GM, atleast diamond
i play pc and console and tgey were very useful
My aim was actually pretty decent when I first switched to PC but I struggled so much with a keyboard
12:13 he believes in me 😍
Idk why but I think you can read my mind cuz I'm trying to learn widow since yesterday and now you put this video out LUL
I got a 144hz monitor, but can only use 120hz, because i dont have a display socket in my computer, kinda sad tbh
Can you do a widow vod review
I play tracer on console used to listen to my friends for sensitivity but not any more I was low gold now in mid plat
Also tryhard ffa gives u hp when u kill so it gives u insentive to go for hs
Top 500 PS4 Reaper Roadhog Main here I used

What about Fps? Are 60-70 fps enough for high ranks?
Yes.
Marcel Weichhart usually not
@@bromazolam how can I get higher fps? A better Cpu or something like that?
Marcel Weichhart yeah
Mccree vod review guide plz
Can you do a video on how to increase fps on Overwatch? So far, I've tried every tutorial but I can't find the correct one. Is it possible if you can do a tutorial? Amazing video about aim btw. I made my accuracy from 30% to 55% because I didn't know most of these tips. Please consider doing an fps tutorial with a low-end pc. Thanks!
Turn off V-Sync and turn off FPS limit. Simple.
@@ThatLaloBoy I tried that :(
I have a gaming laptop with 60 fps, and I'm a soldier/mccree main in diamond lol... i really want to give 144 fps a shot. I have 40% acc with him on average. With mccree i have around 50%
U forgot something: try to move your crosshair more horizontal than vertical because the movement in overwatch is very linear you will hit many shots
And for proyectiles heroes like hanzo?
Tracking and flicking is the best for hanzo, also aim still at the head level and if you can hear them but not see them aim at a general area.
Can confirm the hardware part, went from 50 fps 3.1k to 3.8k when i got a better pc and 144hz monitor.
What’s try hard free something?
When the adrenaline makes your hands shaky and you can’t aim 😍😍
3:13 why would i buy a 144 hz monitor if my potato can barely keep the game at 60 fps
Better picture quality? Idk honestly. I switched to a 160ish monitor and climbed to platinum for dps for the first time in a couple seasons.
Then I would suggest an upgrade. Or check your settings. No need for the game to look pretty if you're dropping frames.
@@lordshard3018 settings already are on the lowest, rendering scale 75%
He forgets to add "Don't question your aim. If you think my crosshair or my sensitivity is wrong, you won't improve as it strips away any muscle memory you've been developing if you change it."
I'm back to overwatch after almost a year and my aim is worst then it used to be I could barely even control the shots with soldier 76.
Bruh I’m playing on a laptop that barely runs overwatch so it’s super hard to aim
Buy a better one.
Also nice vid idea
“Now unlike many other FPS’s in the game..” so we are in a simulation..
I can take a break from the game for a month and come back and still have the same skill lol
Low sens on pc, and high sens on console
Change my mind
High sens on console so you can do the 180s especially with Tracer/Genji/Doom
patthemightymat How u gonna do those 180 flicks?
Hydro with a mouse pad bigger than joe
patthemightymat Hahahahhaha trueeee
Your meant to ask who JOE is
I use a button on my mouse to switch my DPI too
I have godly aim with soldier ult
