Great video!! Shows the importance of fitting.......was thinking of fitting into ventus recently too.....the fitter was really good.....I will be super happy too to see such results after a fitting session!
Awesome video and loaded with useful info. I live out in EC and know that course + just got fitted with a new driver and the Ventus Black 6. Hope I can bomb the fairways like y'all did. Well done amigo.
Very informative video. Was tinkering shaft for my long clubs, and found that the Ventus red profile works extremely well on fairway woods. It's (TR red) not really a high launch high spin shaft to me. Gonna try the new red for driver as well.
What’s a good fitter / dealer in the So Cal area. Lot of them are charging $175 to even even look at the Ventus’ - wish there was a way to even just try them.
Did I hear correctly that two same driver heads could perform differently and require different shafts? If true, shouldn’t we get fitted for a shaft after the head arrives to the shop?
At the highest level it's true, but a golfer that isn't as consistent won't notice minor variations as much. We are talking about very small differences from head to head. When you get fit, you will order a club to be built. In most cases it won't be the one you were trying. Unless you have access to a Tour van. Maybe that's why they are so good! Thanks for paying close attention.
If you get fit properly and they check swing weights AND adjust swing weights to the new head then tbh you shouldn’t need to change the shaft. The fact swing weight isn’t number one on the priority list at a lot of fittings is actually a bit of a joke.
Just trying to shake things up. We try to have a lot of variety in our music. But admittedly, sometimes you're gonna take a swing and have a miss. I guess you didn't like Fleetwood Mac's Tusk album!
This is Pete from AG. Everyone's swing is different - Blaire hits it really high and is very long and straight off the tee. I just played with him at Torrey South this week and can definitely attest that he's in the right shaft (for him). If you're referring to Mr. Short Game (Matt) I'm fairly certain he uses a stiff shaft, as his swing speed isn't as fast as Blaire's. I'm happy to refer you to a fitter if you're interested in seeing what Fujikura Ventus might be able to do for you. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Blair was the man back in the day! I miss seeing him on MTI

Thanks Kenneth / let us know what you get fit into and how you like it. Fujikura site has a great fitter directory. Guessing you have someone.
I’ve watched this video twice it’s that good and informative
Very nice of you to say.
I remember Blaire way back when watching his vids is # Formula Golf # Gabe and Blaire, Movement Improvement
Formula Gf is making a comeback with AG - stay tuned !
I’m impressed with those carry distances from MSG’s ~99-100mph swing speed. That’s low effort, efficient, all smash! 💪
He plays a little!

Thanks for the nice words and for subscribing!
Mr Short Game & Blaire need to collab on their personal channels with some matches. Perfect chemistry
We are definitely working on more of these. Thanks for the suggestion!
nice vídeo! what driver heads are you playing with the ventus shafts?
thanks
Blaire is using a Callaway Ai Smoke Max Triple D head. Thanks for watching.
Mr Short game got the 86 big bubble Chicago air max…. Nice taste and totally slept on. Love that shoe

Why are jungle beats constantly playing in the background? Who made the poor decision to insert those?

Curious why you’re in an X. I’m same club and ball speed and have never considered an X. Currently in an AD DI 6S

@@AmateurGolf hey Pete thanks for the reply. I was referring to MSG. He said on the video that he was in the 5x in all 3 models
Is this the Ventus +
Yes, I checked with Blaire and both were Ventus + models. Thanks for watching.
Where is this located?
30 miles East of San Diego
@@AmateurGolf tnx
I personally don’t like the ventus blue either. So many people love it, but it’s definitely not for me. Still gotta try out red
