You could see Lee gaining confidence and being aggressive as the match went along. Meanwhile Eierman was backing away. Lee almost had Eierman for a TD with 45 secs to go, but Eierman managed to crawl off the mat. And then Lee was close to a TD at the end of the 3rd period. He just needed a few more seconds. And that was a beautiful inside trip to put the match away in OT. Eierman had nothing he could do but go down.
I was thinking Lee @ 49 next year B Bartlett moves into the 41 spot. But agree with you about 2021. It's what they do. Iowa has a habit of getting tight. Brands should wake up every morning , find Spencer Lee, kiss his tail.

Congrats Iowa on the team title. PSU was not expected to win it and there was a question as to whether the young freshman would be ready for the challenge. I think we have an answer. Losing Berge hurt and I don’t know if he returns so that will be a hole to fill. Next year should be a lot of fun. I look forward to the dual meet.
