The adjustments Lee made from their bout at the big Ten’s is a testament to the Penn State Program. The young men that wrestle for Penn State are of high character. Eierman is a monster. All respect to the Iowa program.

Eierman rode out Lee in the B1G and that was that. This time Lee never let himself get in that position. In fact, Lee kept coming and coming, and Eierman was struggling to keep Lee away.

@@georgesealy4706 The biggest difference between the Penn State Wrestlers and Hawkeye wrestlers is strength and stamina. Iowa just seams to run out of gas in the 3rd period against Penn State. Credit to the Lion cardio training.

You could see Lee gaining confidence and being aggressive as the match went along. Meanwhile Eierman was backing away. Lee almost had Eierman for a TD with 45 secs to go, but Eierman managed to crawl off the mat. And then Lee was close to a TD at the end of the 3rd period. He just needed a few more seconds. And that was a beautiful inside trip to put the match away in OT. Eierman had nothing he could do but go down.

Are you proud of that championship?
It’s like winning best picture. But the PSU was the reason for it by having the 4 main characters be BEST ACTORS.
Man ncaa is in trouble again with PSU.
      They are building again.

Eierman got his fingers stuck in Lee's headgear. Should have been one point for Lee.

Iowa still wins the tournament because there is no "I" in team.

If you want to train and work hard 3 months out of the year, well, then, Penn State is a great place to go. If you want to bust your tail 6 months out of the year, you should be very happy at Northern Iowa.. If you want to work hard for 9 months, go to Iowa State. *But if you want to train like a warrior, develop into a champion and work 12 months out of the year. Then Iowa is the place for you*

Gee, then why did the Iowa guy lose? Maybe Penn State's way is better.

It appears that working hard 3 months out of the year is enough... 4 Natty Champs > 1 Natty Champ

@@jeffcopenhaver2217 Probably goes back several generations into the 1800s to some Copenhaver that came to PA. My grandfather was a coal miner at a young age in the early 1900s, so he knew the tough times. I don't know about his father and so on. I never knew or met them as far as I can remember.
