It might be that after 20 years (damn, I'm old) of relying on digital floorboards I forgot the frustration of traditional pedalboards, but I got into building one myself and it's been a whole lot of fun; especially since I'm in writing mode with two bands and I view as my "painter's palette". But yeah, when I'll be gigging that monstrosity will stay at home and the Helix will take care of the show
You're gunna love the Black Mountain Volume Pedal. I've been using mine since they were released with my Fractal as an expression pedal. It's so much easier to use than any other expression pedal for levels. (I use a regular expression pedal for a wah).
Reverb in front of the amp is something that I have not tried. I am running from the effects out on my 5150 lll into my Helix. I have a cab sim and some stereo effects going into my power cab. I just use the volume on the Helix to adjust the effects mix. loving it.
Hey Steve!!! Great layout and a fun looking board. Do you ever stack the Nordland Mostortion and the Nobels🤔 If so, could you please elaborate on the do’s and don’ts with these two pedals🤔. Thanks for sharing✌️
Of course they stack! Mos is a tighter harder sound so it sometimes it works to tame the low end of the nobels! They both have enough range on their own as well...
So this is the last board that you'll need - thanks for showing it to us!
Always! Lol thanks for checking it out
love the line 6 and the nobels!
we have basically the same pedalboard :-) differences you have the vp4 i put the hx stomp and as a reverb i have the digitech polara
Yessss!

The Matchless was the best sounding amp of the demo. Cool build!
Thanks! It is my #1 amp for sure. Has some magic to it

Yeah! I really like the feel so far and the low profile

Great rig Steve ♥

@ …..”taming the low end” ….
Very interesting. I’m going to work with that today on my board.
Thank you for the idea
Have a good day👍
Looks great!!
Thanks bro!
So if you were gonna go stereo direct to FOH (using the HX Stomp as your amp), what would you do with the output of the MXR reverb?
I'd either bypass it, or use it as a room reverb into the front end. Its just a different flavor
@ sorry I meant does the output go to the front of the Lex or another box?
@erikhartley2494 yeah if I'm just using the board traditionally, i can patch a cable right to the lex.
Nice!!!
The best!
You need a noise gate, bro. 😁
I can put it on in the HX!
This is all seems so overly, crazily, complicated... But I'm a bass player, I can barely read, what would I know ;)
I wouldn't have it any other way!
