One thing I will say is if your argument for a monster being an ace and not a boss is it being the most commonly summoned monster, then you need to change Shay and Sora's entries. Shay's ace in terms of appearances is Raid Raptor Revolution falcon, it makes more consistent appearances than Rise falcon, but is also often xyz summoned without ranking up Rise falcon, lowering the usage of Rise falcon. Rise falcon is used most often by Shay as a niche tech to allow shay to duel many opponents at once using battle royale rules, making that form of duel the bulk of its appearances. Sora's ace in terms of appearances is either the edge imp that looks like a pair of scissors(I forgot its name)or frightfur chimera as more often or not frightfur Bear is sent directly from extra deck to graveyard ready to be fused into chimera rather fusion summoned itself. On the other argument that these cards remain in each evolution of the deck and core strategy of the deck, these cards get yet more consistent appearances as like Yuya's odd-eyes, the methods used by their respective duelists of summoning them evolves and changes the core of the deck as well.
Me personally if he could not find a ace he could have turned to duel links it shows characters with their ace monsters and decks and skills to go along with the decks
It's interesting how the past season characters aren't the exact same though. When Jack summons Red Dragon Archfiend Tyrant or whatever it was, you see a quick glimpse of the Crimson Dragon behind it during the summon animation. The Arc-V version of Alexis looks infinitely better than the GX version. The changes are subtle, but significant.
@@Alice_Haukea In Duel Links, Sylvio will comment that Aster is smaller (this being GX Aster). Assumption is that Aster and Alexis are both older than they were in GX.
The strangest thing with Yuzu is that if she is able to have interacted with Shun and Yuto longer she could have even achieved XYZ summoning too having already learned about utilizing the extra deck through Sora's training. Some things that stood out was this version of Jack Atlas was a better duelist than his original 5D's counterpart and that is not just having an alternate version of Red Dragon Archfiend that has an effect that punishes opponents for having multiple monsters but it's because he was smart with using trap cards and spells that made up for Red Dragon Archfiend's weaknesses. I imagine Arc-V Alexis also played a fusion deck too like how her original GX counterpart had at least one fusion monster in the form of Cyber Blader before she fully switched to a full Cyber Angel deck.
You ever think of doing this video for the yugioh manga, I’m asking because the arc-v manga is so different compared to the anime and the ace cards are usually different in the manga except for duel monsters I think.
I feel like Declan Akaba’s ace monster(s) was D/D/D Flame King Genghis, Wave King Caesar, and Gust King Alexander, they were his “go to” monsters and summoned them as quickly as possible in more duels than Doom King Armageddon. Even when dueling Z-arc, he summoned more powerful versions if these cards
If some of Fudo Yusei's cards (Nitro Synchro,Turbo Synchro, Road Synchro, Steam Synchro, etc.) are distributed to the partners who appeared in the first episode (Biltz Boylston,Nervin,Tank & Rally Dawson) would be fun to use in a deck.
2:06 Astrograph Sorcerer is actually just an evolved Stargazer Magician. there's another monster called Chronograph Sorcerer that is Timegazer's equivalent, but that didn't appear in the series. A fusion of those magicians, appearance wise, would be the Rank 4 Xyz "Timestar Magician"... Which is *_hilariously ironic_* cause neither Stargazer or Timegazer is level 4...
@@zayedalhamed3989 I primarily main pendulums in Master Duel, so I definitely did my homework. That said, considering Astrograph is the better of the two given the special summon effect, I can cut a little slack on not knowing based on the anime alone...
The anime makes it pretty explicit that Astrograph is the combined form of Starvazer and Timegazer. Chronograph can be seen as an alternative form or the opposite of Astrograph. Timestar is Rank 4 since it is right between Timegazer’s level 3 and Stargazer’s level 5.
21:00 wait, really, Wingweaver? That card was a classic! I didn't know it actually showed up anywhere! I'd love to see it get retrains or archetype support.
I feel like the difference between Ace and Boss in these series can be distinguished by how hard it is for them to summon out. For example Yami's Ace monster the dark magician has plenty of support cards and means to be summoned out whereas cards the might be considered his boss like black luster soldier or cards that are very situational to get out are more like boss monsters cause they require a plethora of conditions. also if it follows the 2500 2000 stats then I'd consider it ace
Force Strix is easier to summon than Rise Falcon - the former requires 2 materials, the latter 3, and they're both rank 4. Does that mean Force Strix is actually Shay's ace? :p
mmmm valid, but i think when you have so many support cards centralised around one monster I.e dark magician stuff, blue eyes, red eyes, Neos, ancient gears etc to get them out I'd believe that itd present a stronger case for ace monster over boss but there is always flaws in most logical stuff like the force strix example. @@gyppygirl2021
Well theres a theory that the reason the legacy characters decks are different but the same was because when zark was split his soul had basically taken over the mcs from the previous series and rerwote time
I think its interesting how many Arc-V archetypes and boss monsters are still relevant today, even some of the ace monsters are still seen and used in current decks and builds with newer support.
I love it when a character has a Level 7 or 8 Vanilla monster as their Ace. Nice call back to Dark Magician and Blue Eyes, more so than Effect Monster counterparts.
When all else is in doubt, one can refer to Duel Links for ace monsters in Arc-V. The only exception to this is that for some reason, Celina's ace is Lunalight Leo Dancer, when Cat Dancer makes more sense as her ace according to the anime.
i love how the concept of Fluffal and Edge imps is a metaphor how war (edge imps and the dimensional war) transforms innocent things (like childs/Sora and the Fluffals) into killing machines without feelings (soldiers/Sora before being redeemed and Death Toys/Frightfurs)
I think that Yuya's ace should have been Performapal Laught Maker. -it has the protagonist stats -it perfectly fits yuya's personality -it has sinergy with Smile World
This series got me hyped (tho it was terrible) as a machine enthusiast and thanks to a friend that plays Speedroids/Clear Wings I started using them too (fell in love seeying Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing's debut and he became my favorite dimension Dragon), thanks to the series, also liked Windwitches both in design and effects, and last but not least, seeying Shay use Raidraptors with that passion, made me a Raidraptor player (and no,I don't use them as Zephyros-Pk-Kali-Yuga/Cyber Dragon Infinity turbo)
Ya know I would love to see a series on the channel about two different characters from different series analyze and tell us who (your opinion) would win in a duel based on stuff like decks, ratios, experience, counters, strategy’s, ect, examples like kite has an advantage against xyz users cuz of galaxy eyes, Yusei has a perfect win rate, banish cards against yuya whole work against his pendulums, atem has more experience than most anyone, playmaker has all summoning methods under his belt, ect. I feel that even if they took a long time ti research and edit they would be very fun videos to watch snd could bring up fun discussions
If Arc-V has more legacy characters , then my choices would be: Akiza Izinski (Synchro Dimension) Anna Kaboom (Xyz Dimension) Dextra (Xyz Dimension) Nistro (Xyz Dimension) *Zane Truesdale (Fusion Dimension) Atticus Rhodes (Fusion Dimension)
Dextra and Nistro would have worked as characters in Arc-V now that I think about it. They look like the characters that would go anywhere with Kaito to save their dimension. Maybe they would have played a Super Quantum deck. I would have loved to see Anna play Infinitrack instead of trains.
I would have at least one DM rep like joey wheeler or seto kaiba (since no main characters appear in the anime but rivals and secondary characters like kite or crow do) because I found it weird that the standard dimension was the only one without a legacy character and I wonder how the DM characters would be depicted in this show along with the support their decks would receive.
@@charliemulcahy9200I feel like Kaiba would be the best option, but not an "alternate universe" Kaiba, just the original Kaiba from Dark Side of Dimensions. By the end, he finished his time-travelling machine to duel Atem and despite jumping thousands of years into the past, he still had some connection with Mokuba and his scientists, so I think they might want to bring him back after he duels Atem, especially since his body looked like it was slowly disintegrating or very unstable because of the time jump, so there is a chance he could've accidentally time jumped into the future. Also, it would be super fun to see him, Jack, Kaito and Reiji together, basically 4 Kaibas of their respective series and see whose ego is the biggest. It could also provide a nice twist in the huge battle against Z-Arc, since his ace in DSOD was Chaos MAX, so a Ritual monsters that could counter Z-Arc's whole strategy and make him really struggle. That being said, I feel like if Kaiba came back, people would care even less about Yuya and the rest of ARC-V cast (I honestly hoped Jack will clap Yuya again, just to prove how much better 5Ds was).
so, for celinas ace going off which lunalight got the animation in duel links could be leo dancer but she would have to summon cat dancer and panther the most to get to it so it would probably be more a boss

I gotta disagree with Z-arc, I feel the four supreme king dimension dragons were his boss monsters and Z-arc was his ace. His entire deck revolved around Z-arc being on the field, and he used the dimension dragons to completely overwhealm the enemy (like boss monsters are typically used for), Z-arc was also kept on the field no matter who he was facing which truly does fit the description of an ace monster

For Shay, I like to think his ace was Revolution Falcon as it fit more thematically with Yutos Rebellion Dragon.
It's true for all my RR decks, Revolution is easier to summon and more useful in most cases
10:14 I like that but maybe
Carbon/Copy/Capture to keep up the camera/lense theme to capture the moment
2:06 Astrograph Sorcerer is actually just an evolved Stargazer Magician. there's another monster called Chronograph Sorcerer that is Timegazer's equivalent, but that didn't appear in the series.
A fusion of those magicians, appearance wise, would be the Rank 4 Xyz "Timestar Magician"... Which is *_hilariously ironic_* cause neither Stargazer or Timegazer is level 4...
Good someone know that
@@zayedalhamed3989 I primarily main pendulums in Master Duel, so I definitely did my homework.
They're just amazing archetypes! In my opinion, Arc-V has the best archetypes out of the anime series.
-it has the protagonist stats
-it perfectly fits yuya's personality
-it has sinergy with Smile World
When this Came out to Hulu I Binged the Entire Show in a Week THEN WHEN S2 DROPPED I Did the same Thing I LOVE Arc-V!!
0:49 Yuya Sakaki's Odd Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon
14:42 Motherf***** had a FNAF deck, that's NO FAIR!!!
I like how because Z-ARC each dimension gets a protagonist style character
This series got me hyped (tho it was terrible) as a machine enthusiast and thanks to a friend that plays Speedroids/Clear Wings I started using them too (fell in love seeying Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing's debut and he became my favorite dimension Dragon), thanks to the series, also liked Windwitches both in design and effects, and last but not least, seeying Shay use Raidraptors with that passion, made me a Raidraptor player (and no,I don't use them as Zephyros-Pk-Kali-Yuga/Cyber Dragon Infinity turbo)
thank you for playing an actual Raidraptor deck, it really irks me when I see people say Kali Yuga is a Raidraptor card :V
If Arc-V has more legacy characters , then my choices would be:
Akiza Izinski (Synchro Dimension)
Anna Kaboom (Xyz Dimension)
Dextra (Xyz Dimension)
Nistro (Xyz Dimension)
*Zane Truesdale (Fusion Dimension)
Atticus Rhodes (Fusion Dimension)
I spent two years collecting the Melodious Maestra and Melodious Diva deck , honestly the strongest deck I ever play with
Ah yes..... the show which soooo much potential... only for it to nosedive into a crater
A crater like that one in the Gulf of Mexico.
so, for celinas ace going off which lunalight got the animation in duel links could be leo dancer but she would have to summon cat dancer and panther the most to get to it so it would probably be more a boss
Leo Dancer as her ace doesn't really make sense. She uses Cat Dancer more in the anime. I'm still not sure why they made that decision.
@@gyppygirl2021 they probably thought the animation on leo dancer would be cooler than on cat dancer
0:49 Idea for a support card for “-Eyes” monsters
_Infinity-Eyes Magician_ (FIRE)
Level 1
Pendulum Scales: 0⬅️➡️0
_Each turn, 1 Level 5 or higher “Eyes” monster you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing. If exactly 1 “Eyes” monster (and no other cards) would be destroyed, you can tribute 1 other card from your hand or field instead. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card: Add 1 monster that mentions “-Eyes” in it’s name or effects from your deck to your hand, then change this card’s Pendulum Scales to one higher or lower than that monster’s level until the end of next turn._
Spellcaster/Pendulum/Tuner/Effect
(This card is always also treated as a “Blue-Eyes”, “Red-Eyes”, “Galaxy-Eyes”, “Odd-Eyes”, and “Snake-Eyes” card)
_If your summon or activated effect of an “-Eyes” monster resolves, You can special summon this card from your hand or pendulum zone. If a face-up “-Eyes” card you control would be targeted for an attack or card effect, you can change the target to another correct target. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card: Add 1 Spell/Trap from your deck to your hand that mentions “-Eyes” in it’s name or effects, then place this card into your pendulum zone._
ATK/200 DEF/200
The amount of weird things this searches is incredible...
@@asafesseidonsapphire
Oh? We got numbers here for that? I’m curious now.
@@asafesseidonsapphire
Also I had half a mind to have itself also be treated as an “Googly-Eyes” and “Thousand-Eyes” monster, but that was getting silly
I don't think Doom King is Declan's ace, I think it would be more one of his extra deck monster, like Genghis, Ceasar, Alexander, etc
This series was a fan service series
I gotta disagree with Z-arc, I feel the four supreme king dimension dragons were his boss monsters and Z-arc was his ace. His entire deck revolved around Z-arc being on the field, and he used the dimension dragons to completely overwhealm the enemy (like boss monsters are typically used for), Z-arc was also kept on the field no matter who he was facing which truly does fit the description of an ace monster
18:18 long live Ruggington for turning the Tyler Sisters into a meme. SPUNK YES!
nah dude Yuya's ace cards gotta be Action Card Evade and Action Card Miracle
he uses these like 8 times per duel.
C/C seems like it would be Closed Circuit, like CCTV security cameras
I actually met the voice actor of Shay and he said he made the raidraptor deck before he got the role as Shay
Matt Shipman is awesome!
@@gyppygirl2021 yeah! At the event I went to I was dressed in a kamen rider cosplay and since he’s a fan of the series he came up to me to ask for a picture before I could even talk to him
@@Noxty_t7 ...that is incredible. XD
No mention of Performapal Sky Magician for Yusho?
so many of those miscellaneous characters I want playable in Duel Links or I expect to be playable someday since Arc-V really went above & beyond with its side characters. also you forgot two of them. Trout & his Legendary Fisherman III & Reed with his Cookpals. although I'm more in shock that you dislike Fredrick. how can anyone dislike Fredrick?
I've been predicting this video yesterday until now
0:50 Do y'all remember that time Yuya had one of his monsters mimic Peeled Odd - Eyes? Apparently, the stupid thing was still in the deck. He just never summoned it again.
it's kinda odd that despite starving venom being a dimension dragon it does not share the 2500 attack like the others
Not to mention it lacked attack/effect names in the anime. Heck, its anime burn effect never got resolved onscreen.
I guess "evil Yuya" needed to be stronger at base power
It’s attack is right between protagonist ace and rival ace. It’s like Number 32: Shark Drake from Zexal
I love arc v so much easily my favorite season of yugioh Z-ARC is so badass
I fell in love with Sora’s frightfur deck and now it’s my main deck and my friend absolutely hates me for it!
As of right now, my ARC-7 aces are Performapal Coin Dragon and Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and my boss is Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
i would like to hear your commentary on each yugioh season and arcs, what you think of the antagonists and things like that
TGS Anime are you going to do a character tier list for another show aside from DM and GX?
Can we talk about the fan service in this series
Am I the only one who kinda enjoys the fact that starving venom fusion dragon is the only one of the 4-dimensional dragons that have 2800 and 2000 as a stat line to be like "ey yo this guy is the villain, right here"
Just one more series before we can finally get to Boss Monster Breakdowns. Finally!
I feel like you were onto something with what the C/C/C in Reira's monsters would have be. I personally feel it might have been Carbon Copy Cryptids
with the new support for the Superheavy Samurai archetype in master duel. Perhaps this would be a good opportunity for a Superheavy Samurai archetype video?
It will always bug me that Shun summoned Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon, twice, and lost both times.
THIS.
Do you plan on doing the 5ds or arc v version of the ranking every duelist series you did a while back?
I love how the Duel Terminal cards got represenration in the Arc V anime. Even in vrains some of the Duel Terminal cards got represented like the Steelswarms
Duel Terminal story also continued in the Arc-V Booster Packs. Started with Shaddoll and concluded with Zefra.
I just loved the lore over World Legacy and maybe Albaz.
@@thatman666
Same. But i like to see more of them appearing in the anime to give them more love or even anime legacy support like they did with the Gem-Knights with Lady Brilliant Diamond
I wish there was a Ritual world in Arc-V because it just makes sense to me that it should have gotten it's own world. Maybe have it reflect the classic series but even more Fantasy like
Always found it funny that Yuya’s classmates all played Duel Terminal archetypes
Hi Everyone I love this series and I hope you have a good day and you are all awesome
When TGD.Anime uploads:
Me: Shivireruuuuuu!
3:25 also only works with monster with LEVEL 5 or higher 😅
Play Straight Up of love the odd eyes deck it seemed like the first ever multi- versatile deck because of all the special summoning you can do until cyberse came along which I also love too because of the crazy summoning and big plays that amazing to see in action
Love flower cardian hope they get Support since it is based on hanafuda and there are plenty of cards left they could use
I think Astrograph Sorcerer is the evolved form of Stargazer Magician, given the existence of Chronograph Sorcerer
Especially since they're pendulum effects give you the respective magicians
Astrograph sorcerer is basically star and time combined lore wise. While Chronograph sorcerer didn't exist.
I wish they didnt nerf Rise Falcon's anime effect
I think it could have potentially been broken if they hadn't nerfed it, but it's also pretty much useless as it is now LOL
I wish Frightfur Bear was better in the TCG. It's a really cool card. The ace card of Fluffal in the TCG would be Toy Vendor. Fluffal players just rush to trigger it as much as possible, even playing cards like Foolish Burial Goods, Magicians' Souls, and Eldlich to trigger it more.
To me the fright furs are the yu gi oh versions of fnaf characters anyone else agree
Yuya's odd eyes pendulum dragon is a great ace card! 1:05
I still believe that zuzu's ace was bloom diva the melodious choir.
I really wanted you to talk about Daibak and the Yosenju's
One thing i never understood how Leo Akaba got Pendulum Monsters. Was it Sora who explained it to him and he just made them
I forever thank Arc-V for showing me my single most favorite deck in Frightfurs
19:41 I love that guy! Shib-bli-u!
Please do a video about the D/D/D archetype !
If I built a deck with only two dimension dragons I'd take Clear wing and Dark rebellion.
8:08 Ah yes, Miss OTK 101 herself!!!
Why is astrograph sorcerer a normal monster card in 5:10
Pendulum hadn't been created just yet.
While Ballista is def his boss Monster, I believe Hama the Conquering Bow was Shinji Webers ace (love te Battlewasps)
Can you do an archetype video on Raidraptors??? They're my favorite next to Red Eyes!
I love this series almost more then the who would win series 😊
Nice zuzu is the protagonist
He mentioned d/d/ds im happy (i play d/d/d
