Pattern Recognition Receptors
Вставка

- We've already introduced pattern-recognition receptors, which recognize PAMPs and DAMPs, but now let's go over the specific types, and how they work. How many Toll-like receptors are there and what do they recognize? What are the adaptor proteins that kick off their signal transduction pathways? What about NOD-like receptors and RIG-I-like helicases? So much to discuss!

I did my thesis and my PhD on TLR4! 😍 Really loved this video, concise but very informative
I’ve worked on TLR family proteins in my research. This is an accurate and concise introduction, I hope as many researchers watch it. Isn’t this system beautiful? Thanks!
It is!!!
Awesome!!
Beautiful and completely kept my attention the whole way! Thanks for being a blessing, lovely team ❤️❤️❤️
You are a saviour to the medical students like me 🙏
The amount of content you put up is incredi le
I love listening to this rich knowledge in comparison to the flat earth vids.
You are a good man.
Just one issue, MDA5 senses dsRNA and not dsDNA...
Other than that it's perfect
Clear, simple, perfect.
U r truly AMAZING Prof. Dave❤️🔥
I have a hypothetical question not related to this video. Assume we have a small pressurized container that holds the same amount of air atmosphere on planet earth. If we open this container on earth till empty what will happen to earth air pressure ? Will the atmospheric pressure double or will remain the same and the extra air will escape earth gravity ? Don't know how to handle this hypothetical problem. Hope you could guide me.
@Wh•a•t•sap÷❶❷❸❹❷❸❶❹❶❸❻ where can I find him ? Sorry not familiar with the name.
bless you bro
Hiya Dave, love the vids. Would love to see some computer science videos!
I'll get to that eventually! I want to do all kinds of engineering, including electrical engineering first, so that I there is no gap when discussing computer components.
@@ProfessorDaveExplains can you make more video about immune system
@@ProfessorDaveExplains why does cancer form and how to destroy cancer?
This is a whole immunology playlist so there will be many more. As for cancer, start with my biochemistry tutorial "what is cancer".
Awesome! So glad you'll get to that. I'm currently doing my Major in CS :)
Thank you.
:)
Why do u stopped showing your self talk in the video ? Like I dont mind but you did that for so long. haha ok bye thx.😊
I don't have access to UA-cam studios anymore, where I used to shoot my content, so I can't do what I used to do with a nice camera and green screen. So I do audio only, except for my debunks where I use my webcam.
@@ProfessorDaveExplains np I still understand everything you teatcher thx dave 😁
This video was probably one of the most useful lessons on biology I have ever had. Thanks for teacher thousands of more like me and continue what your doing!
My master's thesis is on TLRs, thank you for this video, it is very informative!

Me: AMOGUS PATTERN RECOGNITION
blows my mind how complex we are
Great 👍👍👍
great vid! My question is since DAMP's are associated with Cell damage. Is a local limited hyperkalema kind of DAMP too?
What about TLR-8? What does it bind to?
thank you for helping me with my bachelors thesis in immunology :')

OMG
How smooth you explain every single point!!👏🏻👏🏻
You are so talented 👌🏻
Gee whiz, I learn stuff about my job by going to UA-cam U. What a society we live in!
Completely unrelated tangent:
In Sweden, some decade(s?) ago 'damp' was used as some type of slur against people with ADHD. I have bugger-all idea why.
(On a side-note: I get ads from ThermoScientific on this video, and I love it.)
Interesting theory
thank you sir you rescued me
It seems to me that bacterial flagella are more corkscrew-like than whip like. That is, bacterial flagella spiral while eukaryotic flagella whip (if I remember right).
In any case, this is an amazing, fantastic video, and I tremendously appreciate your work!

Can extracellular ss rna indicate damage to tissue cells ?
They could. But some RNA is used in cell to cell communication.
What if the reason he knows so much is, HE IS JESUS
Ironic since he is an atheist 🙃
I would love merch lol idk why. 😂
