I have been relieved of the ambiguity of the knowledge of macrophage which I have been struggling to understand. Thank you Professor Dav. Now I can comprehend my lectures slide.
Please consider coving more medicine topics (human physiology, pathophysiology, etc). Your graphics, way of explaining, and efficiency are unparalleled. Thanks again!
Wooo, macrophages! One of my favorite cells! /nerd Macrophages are also responsible for the permanence of tattoos. The ones residing in the skin eat the ink particles and that's why they don't get flushed out of the body.
Professor thanks for video, however you missed one the most advanced targets on M2 macrophages, which is the mannose receptor CD206. Early in the video you mentioned carbohydrates, but failed to carry through identifying CD206 C-type lectin, primarily present on the surface of macrophages and immature dendritic cells, which will internalize mannose (carbohydrates) delivered using a dextrin spine/backbone, mannose moiety and a Dx radioph or Thx payload like doxy, which is really important in TAMS and other inflammations to minimize offsite toxicity, etc
Oh, hey! The cytokine GM-CSF is related to one of my responsibilities at work. I would like to know more about what increasing levels of anti-cytokine antibodies in serum indicates; did you come across anything while producing this video that you could recommend?
I watch your videos to help remind myself that I am incredibly ignorant of most of the topics you present, regardless of my frequent consumption of science related content. Please, don't ever make these videos dumbed down to the layman level, as that type of explanation suggests that our understanding of complex things is just something some people figured out, instead of the obvious building knowledge upon knowledge that the learned and determined intelligent minds have worked to understand our world.

I always appreciate how clear and easy to understand these videos are. ❤
Please prioritize your immunology course over others right now. It’s great content

Great video as usual Dave!
Wait, are you dropping more immunology stuff? Please do, I'm a med student and have a test soon. You're the man, Professor.
Yep there's about 14 more after this, not all finished though

hooray! immunology! this is one of my favorite topics.
Your pronunciation of "phagocytic" had me on edge 😂
Macrophages are the coolest thing we have. I think of them as the Star Destroyers of our immune system.
Cells at Work portray them as Giant maids wielding large weapons
