The Inflammasome

When you get a bacterial infection, the immune response needs to be very rapid. But it can take hours to sense a threat, and generating effector proteins in response takes time. Luckily, we all have large protein complexes called inflammasomes that can also initiate inflammation. What are these made of? What types exist? How do they function? Let's get a closer look?

This is so trivial and yet I imagine that it’s cumulative for decades of research and thousands of researchers who have found many pieces of the puzzle 🧩 so that Pr. And used them for some kids I "tutor" (hang out with online).
Yesterday learned about "electromagnetic radiation",
hard for a ten-year-old to pronounce! But opens many doors.
Today we stumbled upon this GIGANTIC body of work of yours!
