Also, the reason why TERA is still going on unscathed is because there are no “current” mmos that offer what TERA does. They got away with it for 5+ years. This year is the test, with MANY mmos coming, some of which I’ve played CBT. Throne and Liberty, Blue Protocol, FFXIV, Chrono Odyssey, and some non MMOs like The First Descendant. This year will test if TERA can truly survive. As a long time TERA vet of 12 years, on can only hope we get the support we need.
I am a veteran of this game tbh Tera is the best MMO I never try and i try a lots. And the reason is is not boring!! This game after many years still, they have best combat system ever made in MMos and have work dungeon with dds tank and heal you can’t see in other MMo. The only problem of Tera is the developments. Community is great in consoles.

Yes, find a dedicated guild asap. It'll be easy for them to help you go through early game and endgame. Also pick a class that you find fun, dont be pressured into playing something you dont want to play
I love the world and the atmosphere of this game a lot. It's a dream for Anime fans. I think developers should make these mmo games also playable offline, otherwise we lose these well created worlds forever, which would be fucked up.
I've never played it on PC but I have always wondered the same about ESO, BDO, Lost Ark, and so on. I'll tell you: it is horrible! But what can we do, right? I do like to play Tera on my Xbox. There are 2 bars full of slots, the second you open with LB and have to keep pressing it to use whatever is slotted there, like some skills and JUMP, lol. I always forget and press A to jump and end up using a skill.

I know this is a few months old but if you login now you can get a free set of fram gear set. Its one tier up from storm and one tier below kaia’s. But.. only one set per account however, it saves you some mats from upgrading storm cry. I just started playing again about 2 weeks ago and it does have a decent player population between 5pm and 3am est. dungeon que’s for dps are still 30-40mins but for heals and tanks its a short wait during those times. But around 10pm-1am est, dps wait times are about 10mins. At least thats what im getting right now. So i would say its doing decent. Not great or poor but decent.

Or should I wait until 2025 to see if it is really going to stick around? Also, they are giving new players (like me) scrolls to take you straight to level 65 or 64, I do not remember now. And lost of 14 days flying mount vouchers, full awesome complete gear sets every 10 levels. I do not want to go straight to lvl 65. I am enjoying my time and doing the quests and side quests and I have seen a lot of people around doing the same thing. They have already given me a lot of lvl 65 stuff that I canonly open when I get to lvl 65, lol.
One detail, you can’t see 120 without the proper monitor. If it’s running at 120 fps and you have a 60 hz monitor you will not see 120 frames as the monitor is only capable of displaying 60.

I love this game, but the developers are assholes, now what I see on the consoles - they adding a little of everything that was on the PC, without any significant changes, I'm wondering what they will do when the content from the PC version ends. I can also mention that they closed the PC version because of Elyon, which closed a year later after the release =D By the way, I remember they wanted to add a new class, but as we see, 2 years have passed and nothing
Yeah walking around Tera and seeing half naked little girls everywhere is what made me stop playing. Everyone who walked in and saw me playing kept calling it a pedo game and ill be damned 😂

I dont think this game needs to worry about marketing. Most console players know it exists, ots free to play, and it's still active. Getting to 65 is a challenge for new players though as it's always faster doing the dungeon stuff early in a group. Unless you know a veteran who will 1 shot through them with you so you get the clearance reward gold and xp still.

Pros: good class roster, interesting races, costumes aren't bad Cons: Literal pedo guilds, reporting something doesn't do anything, KittyLilly hasn't stopped begging for sympathy and demanding expensive items since the BETA, Keith, the PvP community is elitist, the "worst class" is only the worst because it doesn't have a one-shot combo, race and sex locked classes (except for Elins, Elins get pandered to because they make more money), very few people know how to build/play a Tank

Don't know what's going on on consoles but if you wanna play Tera on pc you have to find a private server atm. I wish there would be a "classic" server where I could pretend shitiest, never working idea issued in all mmorpgs at the time and beyond, to create crappy high lvl farmzone from initial area (island of dawn) never happened. Tera had a great lore, one of the most memorable I can think of but sadly someone thought of a great idea to to bastardise it in favor of haphazardly realesed expansions which made almost no sense but were flashy and bring new gear to farm for. Aside from that, never tied it? I highly recommend you do. To this day absolute pinnacle of combat system in any mmorpg.

Why do they all keep on releasing with dogshit trash combat? That alone ruins the entire game. Are they mentally disabled? What dont they understand.

I'd go Neverwinter personally. While Tera is fundamentally a better game in a lot of ways, Neverwinter has a more promising future
