I will be in the middle of playing a game and sll the sudden my remote acts like it has lag. Running on high speed internet and no ping or latency but can be in a game and push to go right and ill go right but even when i let go of right it eill continue for a few seconds. I have trsted it with different wifis, and old and brand new out of the box controllers and it conti ues to do the same thing. How do i fix that!
Hi, Great video! Do you have any advice as to the location of the antennas(connectors) of the wifi of this model? (1100) I can't seem to find any information as to how to disconnect the Wifi. The older models had four antenna's that is removable, but this one only has two and it's only for Bluetooth. If you can help I would greatly appreciate. Thank you!
The digital model has 2 .1 on top witch is for WiFi and blue on the side of the power brick and disc version is only got the 1 and its on the side of the power brick as I have both I'm cleaning my digital 1 today il do a video upload it tomorrow
I have Bluetooth connectivity issues. I can connect, but it drops out after a random amount of time. Then, it is a whole ordeal getting it to connect again just so i can turn off the Bluetooth and play with the controller plugged in. I'm going to do a teardown of my PS5 to see if the antenna wires are okay. Drop you think this is more likely the antenna or the Wi-Fi & Bluetooth chip?
@@ihanfraile8788 I determined that the Bluetooth & Wi-Fi chip was overheating on its own and cutting out. I figured that out by leaving the cover plates off so I could see how it worked. With the plates off it has enough airflow to stay cool. I had the 1200 model, which was produced in early 2023, in the US. It worked wonderfully for months, until I knocked it over and broke the HDMI port. So, leaving the plates off isn't the best idea. My only other suggestion, and this is a slightly risky one, is to cut the vent area open that is blocking the airflow to the BT chip. I was going to do that, but then it broke and I had to get another one anyway.
I dropped my ps5 and and I think the small little metal piece the one at the end of the video is misplaced. And my controller won’t connect at all. And I tried everything and the antennas are still intact. I have a digital version and idk what’s wrong.

First i thought it was the controller, but then i got the psvr2 and it did the same. I spent 800$ on the psvr2 on launch day and i havent been able to use it.... id rather not replace the whole blutooth device in the ps5, ill start with the wire
@cmk568 yes, when I took the ps5 apart again, I saw that the wire got crushed. So replacing it fixed the problem. Just pay close attention to the placement of the wire and make sure it's in the correct spot. Follow the video for where he ran the wire

Sounds like the apart of that side of the board is faulty get it checked out
So ps5’s can have just two Wi-Fi cables instead of 4 because I was confused when I only saw only two there
theres 2 cables for wifi and 2 for bluetooth

No digital has 2 antennas 1 for WiFi other 1 is Bluetooth disc version has 1

Well not really when there different length wires but I never said that as I have both models
