Roland is great used by more artist around the world.
I like the fact this keyboard has faders! So the Roland Phantom 8 also has a touch screen?

great dude...at present I am an Yamaha user. I would like to update . which would I select ...fantom 6 or 8 ? which is more user friendly ?
Same sounds, same OS, just different keyboard size.
Fantom 6: 61 Keys,
Fantom 7: 76 Keys,
Fantom 8: 88 Keys.
Both Fantom 6 and 7 have Synth action, Fantom 8 has piano action. If you like Organ/Synth keys, go for a Fantom 6 or 7. If you have Pianist background and/or prefer hammer action keys, then go with the Fantom 8. It’s really just a matter of keys style preference. Everything else is the same.

audiotone the only thing tragic here is yourself with your pathetic whining. The Fantom is objectively a nice workstation, and has clearly been designed with expandability in mind. Don’t judge things based on what they don’t do because you’ll never like anything at all. If you think older generations of hardware, or cheaper current alternatives are better in your opinion and meet your needs, stop whining and go with those instead. Nobody is forcing you to buy or even look at the Fantom. Like a typical fanboy you have just one biased and irrational view of a brand. Grow up.

I got my mint condition Fantom 7 demo from Sweetwater for $2808. They had a demo price listed but I called them and they gave me an insane deal. If I was you or anyone reading this I'd consider doing the same. Most my gear is used demos and mint, many arrived basically new and I saved a fortune by not buying new, just look around, especially on Reverb and when you find something call them and see if they would go lower, for me they always did.
