Reaction to the actual ending after the final fight - 10:40
Absolutely phenomenal. I have no words.
I recorded this off stream but forgot to the remove the on-stream screen stuff, so I apologize for that.

I love the touch that the game starts with you losing to Ganondorf and failing to catch Zelda, and at the end it has come full circle, with you defeating Ganondorf and catching Zelda.
Yes! The ultimate redemption.
Yes!
Didn’t even notice . Good catch
Good “catch” indeed
Yes! I loved that, too. The symbolism in this game is insane. That "cycle" is even hinted at in the logo with the Ouroboros.
The final fight was just so much better than Breath of The Wild's Dark Beast Ganon. This game was one heck of an experience.
I 100% agree!!
"I will yet rule this land !"
"Noo please don't"
"Understandable, have a good day"
Hey it was worth a shot. Hahaha
this game's final fight is up there with Ocarina of Time's Ganon Fight. The chills, the climax, the feels, everything! This game is just so perfect!!!!!
the secret ending after the credits is so phenomenal too
They used the Triforce to restore her. Link's Courage, Sonia's Wisdom, and Rauru's Power.
That's not what it was. The triforce isn't from them and they had nothing to do with the triforce. Triforce existed long before any of this existed. The triforce is actually a symbol used by a clan. It represents scales. Very well known in Japan. What you saw there was the power of the sacred stones. Putting 2 stones together and giving a max output can do crazy things.
lol, nice stretch there kid
@@OneAndOnlyZekePolaris well in this instance no one has a stone except Zelda. Sonia's was taken by Ganondorf and...then we shattered it into nothing....and Rauru's is actually in Zelda's possession. Follow the story. They are mere spirits, bound to the world very briefly. They had innate power within them though. Rauru had light power and Sonia had time power....the stones merely amplified them, or perhaps drew out all their potential, but even as spirits, still tied to the world they retain their original abilities. Then of course we have the power in Link's/Rauru's original arm.
@@no1guy825 In fact, do your Zelda research before talking shit.
@@no1guy825 Wow now you are lying about the game? Zelda isn't the only one with a stone. In fact in this game she ends up with 2 stones. Get your story straight, kid.
OG fans understand what that sound from the master sword really is... Which makes this ten times more emotional than ever 😭
explain!
@@fatboy6441If you play Skyward Sword, which is the Origin story of the franchise, the Master Sword has a spirit named Fi who inhabits the sword. She is your guide through the game and sleeps for all time in the sword.
Not really OG fans since the game that lores this came out after the first games, but timeline story wise it was the first game.
@@Dr0Qui3T At the time wasn't really called Master Sword. That just shows the power of time is mad.
@@OneAndOnlyZekePolaris
The Power of time the Sword only obtained by the Flames of Hyrule's Creator Goddesses, and this is just one thing that justifies its name, because the reason it is called "Master Sword" is seen in A Link to the Past's Manual (recoment reading the japanese one, the English Version fucked some things up in Translation) It is an Excorcism Sword created long before Ganon was born that can repell any evil, literally ANY Evil, even if they posess the Full Triforce (which had been labled as "Master Force" in that drawing in the Manual about the story of Creation that already existed before Ocarina of Time)
3:24 I was also so exhausted from the battle with Ganon when I played that I totally understand your glad face when the white dragon appears.🥺
I got my 75yo mother into Zelda via BotW right before this game was first announced, and she was my avid audience while I played this one. She said she had her pillow clutched against her chest so tight for that entire endgame battle that her arms fell asleep. It's definitely intense! 😂
In case you're curious about what exactly Rauru and Sonia did at the end there, they channeled a certain power through Link's arm that the three of them all had to revert Zelda back to normal. A power that Sonia mentioned in one of the memory cutscenes;
"Drawing out the object's memory. You ask the object where it was, how it arrived where it is now, and then you coax it back to that original moment in time."
They used the power of Recall.
Zelda : *in korok's voice* Yahaha! You found me!
Link : 'proceeds to drop a boulder in Zelda's head' 😅
Alternate ending/cliffhanger: Zelda is saved, but remembers being a dragon for 5000 years and has been driven completely insane
You should do reaction videos. The honest emotional reaction made me subscribe.
Thanks for the feedback! I would love to do more reaction videos :)
Zelda's Lullaby is so romantic
I swear to god Zelda music is magical
Seriously. Everything about the music in the end, from the part where you drop into the arena to the last bit of the credits, evoked so much emotion.
@@susieqzit’s always been that way with this series, especially ocarina of time . They just know how to rip emotions out of people with a few simple notes
Zelda: MY OLD ROOOOOOOOMMMM 🥺
Link: Its All Right Princess You Dont Need It Anymore
Zelda: B-But Link All My Things Are In There
Link: Oh
Zelda: YOU'LL PAY 1.13MILLION RUPEES FOR THAT ROOM GANONDORF
Link: 1.13Million Rupees???
Zelda: WHAT? I'm Royalty Link ^o^
Link: Ok? So We Live Together
Zelda : Until The Castle Is Fixed
I believe the Light Dragon’s came to your aid was due to Zelda’s love to Link.
My 75yo mother was my avid audience as I played through this game because I got her into Zelda via BotW right before this game was first announced... so she was VERY invested in the story. She told me after the final strike on Ganondorf that she had been clutching her pillow to her chest so hard through the whole endgame that her arms fell asleep. 😂
God this game is such a masterpiece. I love your reaction, too. Reactions don't have to be over the top to be good, and it was obvious you were FEELING IT. Great video.😊
Nintendo employee.
As one of the creators, I am more than happy to see your tears.
𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮
Really though just an absolutely awe inspiring final fight from the depths to the sky it was just perfect.
At he 13:15 point of my playthrough I was like "Ohh right! We DO have a time reversal power!!!"
Zelda should have said "Link! I love you!" Like come on Nintendo, we know they love each other lmao
Haha I think they're just bonded together! No time for a love story when Hyrule needed saving! xD
I don't know, I think Link just sees protecting Zelda as his duty. He never really shows any romantic expressions for her in this game. It could just be his tough and stoic look fooling me though, but he never walks side by side with her or try to get close. He literally acts like a professional bodyguard. I think Zelda has a bigger crush on Link than the other way around.
Like a comment I saw elsewhere, Japan loves the "Will they won't they" trope. Everyone and their mother can tell what Zelda feels, but they're not allowed to verbalize it.
@@susieqzI dunno, Nintendo may not allow explicit confirmation of their relationship, but the devs definitely put in implications. Like them sharing a house together.
@@avaliausd.False. In the English localization, Link shows no emotions, but this is not true in the Japanese release, or even in other localizations, such as the German or French ones. Also, I think you missed the part of the final cutscene where Link's hug when catching Zelda was described as a "warm, loving embrace." That is no bodyguard stuff. Also-also, they walked side by side at the beginning of the game.
Funfact:
You can attack these wounds with other weapons but they wont do as much damage, because each weakpoint has 1200 HP and the Master Sword is at this point your most powerful weapon dealing 300 basedamage.
i shouted out loud diving to zelda "DON'T SPIDERMAN THIS!!"
I felt the same Susie, wonderfull reaction
Good video I am playing legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom right now it is a good game
Awesome! It's definitely a great game :)
This masterpiece it's so Ghibli
Hola soy sordo
Felicidades Susie QZ🎉❤
Love your energy instant sub from me ps this fight was my absolute favorite ever
The master sword actually spoke more to Zelda than Linky boy did 😂
Zelda doesn't realise she was a dragon
You didn't get the extra scene after the credits? You should record your reaction to that when you get it!
I did get the scene! I might upload that, too :D
What about the true ending? That one was also a tearjerker.
Rip to all the players that beat the game in a couple weeks after waiting 6 years
In Japan, Black Dragon. Not Demon Dragon. Zelda is White Dragon.
GOTY, no contender
No hylian shoeld for the final “sheath” that link does? Travesty lol , fucking amazing game though
Lol I didn't even have the shield! I'm so ashamed.
❤
You have like no hearts you didn't experience the game at all!
15:18 ahh yes the kingdom hearts reference
