I went with the AUXITO H4 12,000 Lumens LED Bulb on my Hyper and it has been a game changer for night time riding as well as filtering in traffic for us Californians. Works well and has a great highbeam function. Been running mine for about 1 year with no issues.
Yeah, noticeably brighter. I don't ride at night, or at least rarely, but I'll keep it in mind. I upped the brightness/visibility ante by installing a pair of Clearwater LEDs on the lower forks. They are infinitely dimmable; are connected to the press-to-pass (I call it the hey-asshole-put -the-fucking-phone-down button) and also connected to the horn. I attached yellow lens covers to them, so that they appear brighter to cars and make them think "The man" is coming up on them. Even other riders claim that they are seriously bright.
Hey ladd, love all the mods you've done to the hyper, you seem extremely knowledgeable, I've recently taken delivery of my 2023 sp ive only done 78 miles, love just noticed on the right hand side of the dash next to dwc dtc abs signs there's an orange A with a circle popped up, have seen this before do you know what it means, I recently switched off dtc and dwc. I struggled to find anything in the manual about it
@@kennyputka1428 Thanks.. are you on about the orange warning sign between the green headlight and red oil lights..? Its there on ignition and goes away after startup
@@kennyputka1428 @hypermotardking If it is a "!" with a spinning circle arrow around it, its the DWC or DTC....can't remember which. With the settings turned off, the indicator will stay on. Think it does it with the kickstand down as well
@Chris hi Chris, thank you for helping. It's actually an A with a circle around its staying solid, I'm wondering if it's because i switched off dwc and dtc, I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about.
Is there a decency and easy to install steering dampesr any of you guys could recommend, I don't want to spend Öhlins sort of dosh, plus any decent mobile phone holders to fit my Note8 so it wont go bouncing down the road lol, thanks in advance guys, stay rubber side up.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hyperpro, BiTurbo, GPR, Öhlins are the main ones, depends on budget. I prefer SP-Connect over Quadlock, but both aren’t good for the camera if you not using a vibration damper
Question: On the LED bulb....does the flasher work? i bought one for my 1100 and the flasher (for full beam didnt work) - wasnt the switchgear as when i put the old bulb back in it worked...
@@hypermotardkingLast year I installed an led (Camelight Fanless H4 LED) on my hyper950 and causes the blue indicator on the left side to blink slowly when driving at night. The led works fine it's just a little bit distracting.
@@hypermotardking Hmm I know what he's talking about. When you press the 'press to pass' button with your index finger, the light flashes the high beam according to your input. However, if you are to push the switch on the left handlebar switchblock up to keep the high beam on constant, your high beam indicator then starts to turn on and off repeatedly even though your high beam is on.
still no issues about heat? Philips Ultinon Pro6000 have a tiny fan but its too long for the hyper because of the can. the cap doesnt fit than @@hypermotardking

Happy days and thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻
You gotta more POV videos man. Throught the city and heavy traffic. We wanna see this in action man.
I need to do more of these.. a bit hard as i dont work/live near any built up area’s - i will think of something 👍🏻👍🏻
Definitely considering this. It’s one of the things I think Ducati missed on this bike from factory.
For sure and super easy to swap over too
thanks Hym'King. will definitely replace mine with that type of LED.
No probs 👍🏻👍🏻
What a bright idea......................!.😉👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧
I think so too!

You’re going to have upload a private video of your bike just for me 👍🏻👍🏻

Did you have any issue with replacing the rear bulb cover on the housing to seal it back up?
No.. this is a like for like H4 standard size replacement..not a HID conversion kit
Did you have any issue with blinking light indicator on the left side of the dash?
No.. didnt notice any blinker green signals on the dash - not after a bulb change..?

I just swapped mine with the Zethors and I’m having the same issue. The high beam indicator flickers on and off intermittently. Anyone sort this out?
Any issues with yellowing or melting the headlight itself?
Not that I have noticed..
