He is correct about the perlite. I use at least 25 percent perlite and around a 50 percent for the bottom two inches of the pot. Perlite is magic. With a high perlite content it is much easy to recover from overwatering and to many nutrients. I use so much perlite I am halfway between a soil and hydroponic grow. The additional air at the roots causes plant "stacking" were the nodes are close together which causes dense buds. The less air the roots have the further apart the nodes resulting in less bud. All good information, you should do also do everything you can to keep the temps down below 72 F or 21C but oxygen is your friend, and stop over watering your plants, give them time to dry out a bit between waterings and you will save yourself a lot of grief.

Ive grown most of my plants outdoor with exception in Winter of growing indoors. I have yet come across Root Rot due to video lessons like this one that gave me an overall perspective of the issues. Ive notice Root Rots is more common of Indoor grows then outside. Its likely the soil used for Indoor is not getting dried out as it would naturally of outdoor plants besides the outdoor plant getting direct sunlight to soil which helps a lot. Indoor use of watering soil is always damped of not getting sun to help induce more light nutrients in soil and leaving plant exposed to damp soil of moments where soil becomes warmly humid of not getting dried up. Question my dude: Can I put small females BACK into a veg. light cycle (18/6) after having them on 12/12 (to show their sex) without stressing them out? #fuckinhermies
No doubt. So current situation, problem found which was beginning stages of RR. Discarded only the visible damage without disturbing the ball bc it wasnt super bad. I keep my medium ( mother earth performance soil ) dried out, so I put them in as so. It was only a tight 5 nodes hight or about 6" so I cut all the wilted old growth off only leaving the original 4 and the new growth. Then gave the edge of the pot (3 gal) a medium soak with some Compost Mead and killed the lights. I came home from work and not only do I see considerable growth but the og leaves look alot happier. Opinionated or experience provided answer if you have the time... Do you think it's gonna be cool because there was still affected area present? Will the RR continue to destroy her from the bottom up while she's growing because of the unaffected root ball? Sorry for the long story. 🤜🤛 ✌️ 👽🤫

I actually did not over water my plant. Are usually never have an issue with watering. The problem is I didn’t add any perlite. I was also running a 7 gallon pot where I would usually run a 5 gallon pot so that’s what the issue was, not overwatering but thank you for the comment.
Great info as usual, thanks - raising your pots is the best advice. I use these (not a sponsor); they hold 3 3 Gal pots but 2 5 Gals is better: www.homedepot.com/p/CITY-PICKERS-24-5-in-x-20-5-in-Charcoal-Gray-Plastic-Patio-Raised-Garden-Bed-Kit-with-Watering-System-and-Casters-2346D/301298664 - serves a few purposes; keeps pots raised about 3" off the bottom letting excess water drain into a big reservoir & lets air circulate under the pots evaporating that water quicker. Also, you can do a Flush right there without removing plants if you have a pump or similar to remove all the water afterward. Don't use the wheels to keep it lower... Thanks again for all your content!

Do you rinse coco coir before use?
I don’t use coco coir.
I think I have this problem like most beginners I was watering to much now I’m seeing brown coloring I’m guessing transplant what y’all think bout it
Overwatering is the biggest issue for a newer growers.
Great content as always 👍
vermiculite will retain water, perlite will help drain. just fyi. thanks for vids
I know this...lol.
I had it earlier in my growing. I started flushing & all of a sudden I smell like eggs or sulfur anyone who spent any time in Fla knows when you start the shower. My first few days down there
Amazing video thanks
Any recommended see banks please. Thanks. Obviously don't want to pay hundreds
What about bud rot
You get bud rot from high humidity. Stagnant air vs stagnant water.
Another great video
Thanks bro
Appreciate you man
I’m glad man because I spend a lot of time making these videos for you guys to enjoy and get something out of it.

Nice man i just started a channel myself !
Warmer water will hold less oxygen….cooler water you can super saturate the water with oxygen.
Question my dude: Can I put small females BACK into a veg. light cycle (18/6) after having them on 12/12 (to show their sex) without stressing them out? #fuckinhermies
I would say no. I’ve never done it personally but I’ve heard that it’s not a good idea.

Matter of opinion. Lol.
I can always count on you my nigha
Thanks man.

Epsom salt

Yea don't over water your plants and you won't get root rot , It's a good idea to invest in a hydrometer then you won't have a problem !!! (-: ...
I use these (not a sponsor); they hold 3 3 Gal pots but 2 5 Gals is better:
www.homedepot.com/p/CITY-PICKERS-24-5-in-x-20-5-in-Charcoal-Gray-Plastic-Patio-Raised-Garden-Bed-Kit-with-Watering-System-and-Casters-2346D/301298664 - serves a few purposes; keeps pots raised about 3" off the bottom letting excess water drain into a big reservoir & lets air circulate under the pots evaporating that water quicker. Also, you can do a Flush right there without removing plants if you have a pump or similar to remove all the water afterward. Don't use the wheels to keep it lower...
Thanks again for all your content!
You never give advice for out door grow not 100 percent of growers doing it inside
I’m more of an indoor grower but I can throw down some outdoor grow tips. I haven’t grown outdoors in a bit but I can make a video if you want.
@@420scene please I got a huge plant that's about 8 to 9 ft tall about 7 feet wide and idk what's going on with her she was doing really good now all of a sudden everything growing in the middle is turning yellow and the stems are like almost yellow too
Send me some photos of it on IG and we’ll figure it out. How’s that sound broski?
@@420scene yeah that be great thanks I seriously need some professional help
Don’t over water, there problems solved
Doesn't solve if you don't have enough drainage on the bottom half of your soil. Adding perlite to that bottom half...there...problem solved. But thanks for your insight.
What type of camera do you use brother
Canon DSLR SL2.
Keep irrigation water cool, the potential oxygen carrying capacity of water is significantly reduced as temperature approaches 20c
Great info here
