Your plants are absolutely beautiful. I bought a cold is which was planted in a log last month. I thought it was really cute. About a week later she became very limp and she was about to die. I'm don't have a green thumb but I nursed her back to health and she is flourishing. The guy who sold her to me just pretty much had her propped up on the dirt in a weird kinda way where only like 3 of her roots were buried. She also had no drainage. So I drilled her some holes. She looks amazing now. I'd never thought I'd like a plant as much as I like her. Anyway, she needs company andI was wondering what's a good brand of coleus seed? I want a combination kinda like what you have. Yours are truly stunning. I need that WOW plant in my life😁. Thanks for the video.
Beautiful plants‼️ love them all‼️ I wish you could make a video of how to grow or transplant these plants from a small pot to a bigger one, to keep them that pretty and healthy‼️ I think that's why people don't like to spent money in plants that die because we don't know exactly how to take care of them!
Help! Do any of you have any of the Coleus, with the "white spray" on the leaves? I bought one last summer, foliage was typical green/maroon dapple, but with a lovely white "spray", but a year later, almost all the "spray" has vanished! I thought they would want more sun, but in a place where they get just a couple of hours of early morning sun, the leaves have gone more maroon...any advice/thoughts? Thank you....
Are those plants perennials? They are all beautiful, I love the contrast between them and how they are so eye catching. I live in zone 5, Massachusetts and for the most part, every single time I ask for similar plants (maybe they are the same, but just way smaller), they tell me they are annuals. And honestly I don't buy them because I want to have permanent plants.
Hi Maria, the only plants in this video that are perennials are ferns and grasses in the steel pot at the beginning of the video. As for the landscape foliage, they are all annuals, unfortunately! We love the colour too :) Happy gardening!
I have more magnificent foliage coleus and my favorite was the one with a folaige that looks like a military uniform. Theyre easy to grow and I love them from Philippines. 😍
I would really like to know how you planted those in the planters behind you as you showed us what the final product could be.... I want to do this very soon so I would much appreciate a video reference or a video showing how you created that potted plant combination. I can't imagine that it's all in one planter! Thanks much:)
Hi Mary! Fantastic question. We used a 24" wide planter with a Cyperus papyrus in the the center and then planted basically in concentric circles toward the outer rim. We alternated varieties of Iresine, Coleus, and Begonia with trailing Ipomoea along the very edge. We plant much closer than the recommended spacing you find on the plant labels and that gives you that beautiful full look so much earlier in the season. After choosing your favourite varieties, plant in descending order of the heights listed from the center on out, trying to alternate contrasting colours. Hopefully that helps! Happy gardening :)
Hi, can I grow coleus indoors? In small to medium sized pots? I have some nice bright spots in my house. But summers are very hot where I live, like 40 plus Celsius. But I love coleus and want to have them inside house.
Hi @TheAmurtaza! Coleus love the heat, so there is no problem in planting it outdoors as long as they are in a shaded area. If you don’t have a shaded area outdoors, then the best alternative would be a well-vented greenhouse which would be shaded and warm. We hope this helps! Happy Gardening :)
Hi! Three flowering plants in the planter - The taller upright one with the dark leaves and coral tubular flowers is Gartenmeister Fuchsia, the middle cluster of red is Dragon Wing Begonia, and the lower trailing one is Bonfire Begonia. We hope this helps!
The Greenery Garden Centre I am trying different ideas for pots because of a business I have started.. SO...you have inspired me and this helped. Thank you!
Hi Evelyn, The upper plant is the Red Dragon Wing Begonia, the lower one is a Boliviensis Begonia-most likely Million Kisses Devotion. Another very popular variety is called Bonfire which has more of an orange flower.
+PBinB Hi! We used a 10" stock pot and have 6 plants in them. However, we would recommend using 3 instead, since we're ours to propogate new plants :) If you do 6, it will be a bit too heavy in growth. Happy gardening! -Christina
Hi Mekachiri. A balanced 20-20-20 fertilizer is just fine. Coleus is not a heavy feeder. The key with Coleus is allowing them to dry out between waterings, creating a more sturdy, compact growth habit. Happy Gardening!
The music in the video is kind of distracting , he is giving interesting information ( new to gardening) and I wish the editors would not play music throughout the entire video.
+Gina Martinez Hi Gina, thanks for the feedback on how to improve our videos! We'll look into lowering the volume of the music in the future. Happy gardening! -Christina
The Greenery Garden Centre it's more that it competes in my head set with your voice would work much better if was a bit more in back ground had to turn on CC on my phone not a good vidio for when on the train
audio is too low. also pls. mention where or what location you at so people will not waste time watching you that the plant will not live in their zone.
I really love the old school feel of this video, really brings back memories of a place in time..

I love you’ve explained everything. The music background is a little too loud and annoying.
What's the fertilizer using for your coleus?
Lindas!👏🏻👏🏻
Love it and subscribed
Do colour of leaf remain same if kept in shade.
I respectfully suggest not using background music in your videos. Thank you for sharing these beautiful plants.
How do you care for Coleus Plants indoors over the winter months ?

Tasteful garden
What is the orange plant in the large planter? It’s cascading. Is that a form of begonia?
Hi Evelyn, The upper plant is the Red Dragon Wing Begonia, the lower one is a Boliviensis Begonia-most likely Million Kisses Devotion. Another very popular variety is called Bonfire which has more of an orange flower.
Wow and wow.
