- There are lots of plants that show their "wow" factor through their vibrant flowers, but there are many plants that can do just that with their leaves. In this series, we'd like to introduce a variety of foliage plants that will add the perfect accent (or even steal the show) to any mixed planter or bedding display.

eish that is beautiful, Where i come from is really a desert like area, very dry and scorching hot through out the year, i have realized that broad leave plants only needs to be planted under shades or big trees, however duranta doesn't have a problem with the hot scorching sun, it doesn't really need much water as i have seen my lazy neighbor never watering her durantas for almost 8 months until the rainy season came, they never died but are always green, i wonder if there are some very drought resistant and beautiful plants like duranta which are extremely drought and extreme temperature resistant(up to 42 degrees)

The only reason the duranta is draught tolerant in this situation is because it was planted in the ground or actually might be native in your climate. For us it is a container plant and like other draught tolerant plants, when grown in containers the opposite happens because the roots can’t find natural sources of water. Can you please make a video of how you created your planters and what pot did you use and how you potty them in the pot I would love to do this idea but I don't know how to start cuz the plants are so huge do you pot them all in one pot? and they grow that huge or what... please let me know

Dee McKinney Slugs are the big problems for me. We have no deer where I live, in the middle of a huge city. But slugs are EVERYWHERE!
