Fast Eddy, I’ve been battling with my Kenmore washing machine for months trying to get rid of the noise, after replacing the splutch kit it wasn’t long before the noise came back. Watching your video helped sooooo much, I want to let others know that using the blue lock tight and if possible using the impact driver makes all the difference. I have a kenmore 90 series washer the water fills up and drains but it doesn't spin. What could be wrong with it? Trying to fix it myself I took it apart and checked the coupler but it's fine.
Mines acts like its spinning and draining then the clothes still be soaked. My fiance load it worked second it didn't. First started last week. Bout to dry the second load how long it takes. But smart white load it drained drained. Tryna jump on it before it gets worse.
Okay I caught the last part of the video where you describe the white beveled piece is pull in to allow the machine to actuate. I maybe saying in reverse. My question is when I am placing the pulling back on, do push it in until it pushes the white bevel piece in. Please assist.

I have the exact same washer that makes that irritating grinding sound and has stopped spinning and draining. Before ordering this kit, somebody else mentioned a motor coupler. Where would that be on this particular machine?

So I got a kenmore series 100. And it sounds like beads are at the bottom when it starts spinning. I'm trying to find a video of how to take it apart. But I literally do not know what I'm doing at all. Help please sir
Should the tub (this exact model) be so free moving that it easily bumps outer walls just moving it with my hand? The 4 corner support rods all are attached and appear to be intact. I am going to turn it over tomorrow to look closely why mine is not spinning. Ilayed it over and the tub lays directly on outer walls. Seems too loose to me. Seems to stall and wont churn or spin.
You must likely have a drain issue first off yes it's supposed to be loose like that in other words will be able to move around inside the outer casing and I would pull the error codes before I would do anything
my challenge is when doing heavy load it wont drain or go to spin and hood remains unlock. however when i put a very light load it works fine. could it be the pump is somewhat clogged and wont drain water fast enough?

Kenmore 80 series spins and drains but acts like its trying to engage wash cycle .agitator stops with a lowd pop and grinding .it will run a full wash cycle but Rince cycle is loud and scarry lol

Eddie, I have been helping my neighbor with daily household chores due to an injury of hers. she has this exact washer mdl. 110.21102013 and it has been making this awful noise for over 3 months (she has mostly one load a week) in the spin cycle. it sounds like something hits the wall but finishes the cycle.. Yesterday after I loaded and started the washer I noticed the tub was off to one side and slumped down in a big way that I could see the tub cover was cracked and torn. I stopped and drained the washer. I want to help her out with this if I can. I have taken my washer apart and fixed it, also fixed parts on our two vehicles with youtube help. With out taking her washer apart do you think you could say what may have caused the derail and what parts are now on the list to be replaced?
Old school...I don't think so. The direct drive came later. They each have their advantages. On the direct drive, it's the coupler you have to replace. Almost the same process...they used cheap plastic on original parts, but replacements came with metal inserts.

Pulley needs to be tight to the center shaft

I have an LG with similar problems now it has stopped agitating and spinning.
Mine wouldn't agitate or spin. I replaced the agitator dogs and got a clutch kit and replaced those parts.

your washer has too much lint build up in the back fix it soon because it is a fire hazard .

Throw that garbage in the trash and buy an old-school DIRECT DRIVE WASHER.
