I understand your point but Emilia is the protagonist as long with Subaru, and she was overshadowed during the whole season 1
Yeah I don't mind at all that Emilia's getting a ton of love now compared to season 1 or even if Rem was awake and Emilia still got more love. It just sucks because they kind of created this Best Girl rivalry in the community and now it's just dead basically.
@@CloudyCrow The community is kinda the problem, but Rem is gonna be off for a while, don't expect her this season, but be prepared for an amazing season it's gonna be epic, many characters are gonna have their time to shine, and the villains are crazy

This is definitely going to be the best season ever because as you can tell from the trailer this is the most action heavy season of Re:Zero with arc 5 being the most crazy when it comes to the amount of fighting there is 😊😊 also they ahowed a key visual that revealed characters for the next arc past this one which hints that both arcs will be animated meaning this will be potentially a 40+ episode season. At the bare minimum a 3 cour season if this is true 😊 this season will cement Re:Zero as one of the best ongoing series period

Nah the best girl debate was just a dead meme. She will never be in the level of the likes of emilia of course for obvious reasons being shes the main mc with subaru and In case you are wondering if this will change in the later arcs(the latest tho idk).. nope and probably never, she's just there.. she exist.

yeah, we got few visuals and teaser few months back, but now we even have a date and staff. Also, I highly recommend you check some summaries or things you missed videos before S3 airs (if not a complete rewatch lol), Re:Zero is pretty heavy on the lore and stuff, and rewards attention to detail after all. And I'm not even mentioning how MUCH stuff had to be cut and condensed from the LNs. (for example they cut Subaru asking Echidna about witch cult and her confirming she doesnt know them and they are not directly related to the other witches, even Betelgeuse only ever mentioned being crazy about Satella)
Rem was taken out because she had an intensely unhealthy relationship with Subaru.

This little fight between Emilia or Rem best girl has become useless in the current state of the novel, the author is trying hard to make Rem become a detestable character, she already had her peak in arc 3 and in Rem If, from arc 4 onwards the focus is satella and emilia (mainly emilia, satella has development between the lines but soon she will gain more focus), I'm hyped about the third season, there will be several interesting fights and a lot of character development.
Tappei isnt trying to make Rem detestable, she just a supporting side character, she is just not that relevant....She literally serves no purpose onward. That's just straight truth.
People need to stop hyper focusing on a side character that has actually no real big purpose of Re:zero and thinking it compares to the main female who is a major point of the story as a whole and literally built around.

what kind of nonsense are you on about. the new Rem is great, helps her a lot getting development to overcome her toxic obsession with Subaru by learning to love him anew in a more healthy way

When arc 7 started I was hyped to see how Rem would behave, but at the beginning she started to show meaningless behaviors and attitudes, it started out that she only caused problems for Subaru (and this even culminated in some of his deaths, If she had listened to him and kept quiet about those events in the beginning of arc 7 wouldn't have happened), during the entire arc 7 Subaru was constantly trying to care and help her, and she reciprocated with disgust, every time she appeared I already turned off my mind so as not to get irritated by her lines . I don't know how she is currently in arc 8 because I stopped at the part where they were being attacked by zombies in the carriage, I'm going to wait for the arc to end and then read it all at once. Btw just to make it clear I don't hate rem, but her current state as a character is rubbish, I hope they resolve the issue of her recovering her memories soon and see what happens.
