I like lancer Medusa but for the sake of being original i will say Darius the Third rider.He has an awesome design and it's too bad we don't have him in Fate/go and even in this OVA we see him only for a moment......
33:34 the weapon that Medusa held it's call Harpe, the Harpe was a type of a sword with a sickle protrusion along one edge near the tip of the blade(from wikipedia) and in Type Moon sometimes it's can be a Scythe and this Harpe is from Greek Mythology used by Perseus given by Hermes in order to kill Gorgon. This sword has ability that nullifies the immortals and inflicts wounds that cannot be restored by any methods other than healing in accordance to the natural laws. And fun fact Zeus in mythology was almost killed by Typhon who used this weapon (Typhon stole it from him) lmao
Caster Cu! I love Cu in pretty much every version of Fate. Fun piece of trivia, if you go back to UBW episode 20 when he sets Illya's castle on fire, he uses a rune to do it
The Fate Grand Order Adaptations skipped straight to Camelot and Babylonia (Singularities 6 And 7) so they'll be showing glimpses of the 1st through 5th Singularities that might not make sense but ngl it'll be real cool if they could animate all of them

59:57 Olga was killed by the bomb she was only a soul when she was pulled back by the rayshift. It created a body made of spritrons so she was kind of like a servant at the time but when she returns there would be nothing to create a real body. the Master and Mash's bodies were converted into spritrons and sent back and when they returned the spritrons were converted back into their bodies.
Olga's story is still unfolding in the game so to speak, almost 10 years later
Basically the alternate forms that you saw in this OVA is the fact that servants can be summoned in different classes. Like for exemple, Hercules can be summoned in almost all the classes, which changes fundamentally his noble phantasm and his way of fighting.
To give a good example that you saw here : Cu Culainn was trained in magic in his life which makes sense for him to be a caster and also a lancer thanks to his training with Scathac. But he can also be a berserker and a saber (his young self). Not every servant can have different classes, but a lot of famous ones can.

To be clear, Servants or rather the Heroic Spirit summoned as one can be summoned as any class they qualify for, Medusa and Cu Chulainn you were introduced to them as Rider and Lancer respectively but they qualify for other classes too, Cu can actually be summoned in any of the main Classes actually.
37:34 - I mean, he wouldn't be there at all if he wasn't summoned. Also don't bother concerning yourself with all the exact background details of this Singularity, its the starter and the details are never exactly known.
40:29 - Think of it like this, Saber Alter is in this and thats it, no need trouble yourself theorizing, its not a major point really.
40:41 - That was Saber Alter in Heaven's Feel, who was regular Saber corrupted by Dark Sakura. In FGO Saber Alter is a bit different, but simply put she's separate from the original Saber and is more of a dark reflection rather than an outright evil form.
40:47 - These days everyone just calls him Emiya to differentiate from Shirou.
41:26 - Persian to be accurate, his name is Darius III, he's actually connected to Iskandar aka Fate/Zero's Rider.

1:00:13 - Don't really see whats there to be confused about? Why wouldn't introduce her even if she died right away and what does contributing something even have to factor into that?
Lots of other characters in other media are introduced early on but then killed almost immediately so its not really strange, and usually there doesn't need to be a reason for them to be introduced nor do they need to contribute something. Usually its just the character is introduced and then they die, no greater meaning behind it.
In Olga's case, what happened to her is a tragedy, Ritsuka and Mash get to know, see behind her insecurities and see she's not bad only for her to cruelly die right at the start, a bitter regret for them. Whether or not she contributed or the story could have been without out her does negate her character.
1:01:39 - I won't spoil anything, but from a stance of your current story perspective, it wouldn't ordinary to give her all this background then her just ending here, I know a number of characters who thats happened with, not always but it is something that can happen sadly though even then it wouldn't disvalue her character being introduced, just saying.
1:01:59 - Basically Olga, died during the explosions and her body got destroyed and it was inly luck her lingering soul was rayshifted, but would have ceased to be (a after worse than death) when she was returned. Mash was only mortally wounded and she was saved thanks to becoming a Demi-Servant which I imagine healed her body.
1:02:41 - Well thats the story of the mobile game, unfortunately, only two Singularities got anime adaptions, one two movies, and the other an Anime series. Plus the finale got animated too.
1:03:09 - You just talked about going into the past where Babylonia existed, so i think you already answered that question.
1:03:19 - Funny thing, its not even actually Holy Grail Wars, at least in the way your thinking.
The Grand Order Anime adaptions are pretty good in my opinion so look forward to checking them out. Also just a personal recommendation, but if your interesting I recommend you react to Fate/Grand Order Trailers for the Mobile Game, it will give some perspective on the parts of Grand Order that weren't adapted (In anime at least) and their just enjoyable overall.
Mash was saved by fusing with the Servant - that's what allowed her to recover from her injuries.
Regarding the servants shown in Singularity F: the Rider shown briefly is Darius III, who was an enemy of Iskandar (the Rider who appeared in Fate Zero). Medea wasn't summoned at all. Because the singularity is warping history, this line-up is also different from the servants who were summoned for this war in the proper version of FGO's timeline.
The reason Olga had no body to return to is because the bomb that Lev planted blew up right under her completely incinerating her. Also, as other comments have pointed out the anime skips Singularities 1-5 and the rest starts from 6. This was mainly due to a vote that players participated in. Which story chapters would players like to see animated the most? and everyone voted for the 6th and 7th singularities respectively. The reason why these 2 got voted is because the 6th is when Nasu, the writer of Fate/Stay Night and essentially creator of the whole Nasuverse, stepped in to start writing the main story. Chapters 1-5 were kinda struggling on the story front so Nasu stepping in was the perfect shot in the arm the game needed.
As for Olga’s story, you are correct in that it’s not over, however, that hasn’t been explored in the anime as of yet. Only act 1 of the game (and only the chapters mentioned before) have actually been animated. We’re praying that act 2 the Lostbelts do get an adaptation because every one of them is fucking fire (except maybe 3 tbh) and has the absolute peak of the game’s story within it. Maybe one day….
Cu chulainn as a Caster is basically based off Odin , His Caster Class is definitely far more powerful however he preferes being a Lancer .
Fun Fact , He can use Runes as a Lancer just like he did when he was dying in Unlimited Blade Works to ignite his body but he hates using them
Olga's role is: establishe a little bit about Chaldea lore (as an Amnimusphere family facility) and also she's going to die infinitely, so what will happen, if her spirit us finally cut out of chaldeas?..

in game Darius III currently only is in as a Berserker, and the Medusa lancer we have is her younger form and this version looks like other alters.

I would recommend watching ep 0 of Babylonia next.
Note, Fate Grand Order is a mobile Game, first order is an adaptation of the Intro/tutorial Chapter Of Fgo and only the 6th(Camelot), 7th(babalonia) and Last singularity (grand Temple of time) have been animated (id personally recommend either watching a lore video on the Between chapters story or Playing the game and Experiencing it yourself (though it does take a long time)

Cu caster is odin's proxy which we get to know way later, but you wont see it in anime, we have seen lancer cu using runes too in ubw and hf. Emiya can copy any type of weapon but his affinity is with swords because that is his Origin. That spiky arrow he used is Hrunting, one of Beowulf's swords, we see emiya using it in hollow ataraxia for the first time. Cu just likes to use a spear rather than magic, its not about strongest form. Flauros is a demon from the lesser key of solomon. You wont get to see singularity 1 to 5, there are no anime adaptations, singularity 6 is camelot, 7 is babylonia, then there is final singularity with the solomon movie. And no thats not counter force. The rider is Darius the third, we have Jason in fgo and he looks completely different lol
There's a little line early on in this OVA about what chaldeas is that might answer your question as to why it looks similar to the counter force. It's almost certainly not the counterforce but the similarity is not by accident either.
it's a bit ironic but Chaldeas basically becomes a Mini throne of heroes as they keep summoning servants ( in the game all but a very limited number aren't summoned). those that don't explicitly go with the master on a mission can have a fragment of them summoned to fight for the master then return to their main body once the fights over.
They only animated singularities 6 to 7 (the most important and best story-wise taken from a player survey in game). I think you'll definitely enjoy the journey though!
There is Solomon too
Fate Stay Night takes place in 2004. Fate Grand Order starts in 2015 and the beginning of the year 2016 was essentially their time limit to resolve all the singularities because according to their calculations that's when human history was going to stop.
In the Grand Order version of Fate, Mash's class is "Shielder". She's actually the only character in the Shielder class so far.
I barely play the mobile game but I absolutely love First Order and Babylonia. Mash Kyrielight is one of my favorite characters in Fate, and Fujimaru is pretty great too, I just love how the Grand Order stuff expands Fate in ways that decently make sense. Mash is one of my favorite "shield heroes" next to Maple from Bofuri, I'm not a huge fan of Naofumi or Captain America but I love a character who charges into battle with nothing but a shield.
Cu's staff is most likely inspired by the Shillelagh, which is both a walking stick and a club. It's from Irish folklore, but they're still used to this day.
Since his name is Ritsuka Fujimaru we obviously call him Gudao, unless its the female version in that case its Gudako

but in grand order it is the 1st or 2nd(i don't clearly remember) that took place in 2004 fuyuki and something went wrong in that war and it resulted in this singularity
Edit: The series takes place in start or middle of 2015 and the end is stated to be 2016 new year so they have to get all 7 holy grail within a year that's the basic gist of it. they have skipped singularity 1 to 5 because it's not that great but the important parts from those singularity are in the singularity 6th and 7ths adaption.

He is considered a rival of Fate/Zero's Rider, Sadly there isn't really any good depiction of him in any of the anime adaptations, the best look you can get of him is to check out his introduction trailer from the game Fate/Extella Link.
Medusa was wielding the Immortal Slaying Scythe Harpe a divine sword used by Perseus to kill the Gorgon Medusa
Fate Grand Order's protagonist has a male and female variation depending on which you choose in the game. Their designs were based off genderswapped Rin and Shirou.
Also, Olga Marie has appeared in other Fate media as well.

Fourth holy grail war is immensely important for Fate/GO time line. But that's shall be clarified in Solomon movie
Also, it's not really delved into much, in any of the anime or even the game (except for a minor appearance as a challenge boss) but the Rider there is Darius III, the archenemy of Iskandar in real life
Servants aren’t locked to a singular Class, it just depends on their lifetime that dictates if they have more than one Class, Archer EMIYA being one of the few who is only a single Class Servant
