I’m excited to participate! I will read A Tangled Web. For Anne with an E, I’ll reread Anne of Green Gables. It’s been a long time since I read it. For the Puffed Sleeves and Cordelia prompts I will read books in the Emily series. I have the 2nd book, Emily Climbs in the Virago Modern Classics edition with the wintery scene with Emily in the red coat with long sleeves. I just noticed in the cover picture, she has a white fur muff to keep her hands warm. I had a white fur muff like hers when I was a little girl to wear to church in the winter. I actually still have it somewhere. I will start the Emily series from the beginning though with Emily of the New Moon and hopefully read the 3rd book Emily’s Quest too. Thank you for hosting the L. M. Montgomery Readathon. I will check out the other hosts videos too.
I just love all the books shown and you are a real LM Montgomery scholar, just amazing! I recently went back to work part time to help out an old friend and so I have less time to read but I have already read Anne of Green Gables and am planning to read and complete the second book. I just love her! ❤😊.
Getting excited about November and reading more L. M. Montgomery. I ordered A Tangled Web and Anne of Windy Poplars this weekend. I should get them on Tuesday. I love lots of characters, so A Tangled Web sounds like my kind of book. I’d love to get my hands on a copy of The What Is nonfiction book. I like that series. I’d also like to find some Anne picture books. Nice TBR, Mitzi! 📚
I'm hoping I can get to A Tangled Web this month! I adore the Kallie George Anne picture books!! They have the most beautiful illustrations and I love how she's adapted AOGG for young readers (but us adults can enjoy them too!)
I recently read the Anne picture books and the middle grade non-fiction book and enjoyed them all! I will read A Tangled Web and Anne of the Island. I recently downloaded her short story collections for free on my Kindle and will try to get to one of those too!
"A Tangled Web" sounds so good! I read The Blue Castle a while ago based on your recommendation and really loved it. I've always been an LM Montgomery fan. I also love "Among the Shadows," which is a collection of ghost stories.
Love your TBR Mitzi! I am so excited to participate this year! I recently got the new Letters edition of Anne of Green Gables edited/curated by Barbara Heller so I'm going to read that copy for the Anne with an E prompt (though I was trying to get to it this month just for the Octobers quote). Then for the puffed sleeves prompt I think my copy of Anne of Avonlea can count even though the sleeves there aren't puffed like Anne's ball dress but still. I am going to "cheat" and count a Tangled Web for both the Kindred Spirits and Cordelia challenges just so I only have to read 3 books. I hope I can get to all of these and I'm looking forward to participating! ***Edit-I'm seeing all the comments mentioning Blue Castle and it is my favorite and I did just recently get a kindle edition to read since my copy isn't with me so now I think if I have time I will reread it for the Cordelia prompt :D
I'll definitely be participating! I will read A Tangled Web and may start the Emily series. I just read Rilla of Ingleside this month and it was so good!
Love this, Mitzi! I will be participating, too. I will plan to read Marilla of Green Gables by Sarah McCoy, The Lady of Shallot by Alfred Tennyson, and The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes. I have read all of Lucy Maud Montgomery's works and I would love to read what Anne read in the book!! I've heard great things about the Marilla-inspired book. 🍁

Those picture books sound wonderful! I will check my library for sure!

I just read Marllla last week. It was quite good.
That’s a beautiful copy of Anne of Green Gables! I’m going to participate with y’all-I haven’t read anything by LM Montgomery since I was a kid!
I have my Anne books ready to go!
I’m reading Emily Climbs!
I am participating. I will be reading “A Tangled Web” and “The Blue Castle”. I have never read either one. I am very excited.
We have a lot on this month, but I may squeeze in Emily Climbs.
I have a whole plan but we'll see what I get to. Definitely going to read Anne of Ingleside, beyond that we shall see what actually happens!
I picked two books in hopes of getting to at least one. 🙂
