hey Mitzi! I want to keep my life simple! agree!! so amazing when you find a new favorite!! how fantastic for you! love the murder she wrote books! so glad things are back to normal for you, and agree we had a lot of family time. We did games and puzzles and really made us just focus on each other! loved hearing you talking about your grand baby!! you just radiate joy! love the fountain! this was so fun!!
I read The Woman in White and a reread of The Picture of Dorian Gray for Victober. October will always be Victober for me too. My life is simple too and that’s how I like it best. I love fountains and yours is beautiful! They’re so peaceful.
I love your fountain!!!! It is so beautiful 😍 There is nothing better than family and a simple life 🙏 I have almost finished The Blue Castle, and enjoying every page, and starting a book for a class that I have to dictate this weekend. Love from Chile! ❤
Wingspan is a great game! We have the Oceania expansion & really like the birds it adds. I also enjoy a simple life. This past weekend I went to a rock, gem, and mineral show with my husband and adult daughter. Simple, but so much fun!
I have never read anything by Sheridan Le Fanu, in fact I had not heard of him until I started doing Victober a year or two ago. And I definitely have never heard of Uncle Silas, but I am now intrigued!
I love your fountain!! I too have a really simple life which I love to bits. I have a small garden, small deck and a fountain too. The local birds sometimes come for a bath. I just finished monogram murders, no Christie fan should read them in my opinion, it's like having all the pieces together but never quite fitting in. I am reading Uncle Silas next 😊. Your grand baby sounds so adorable, enjoy it all Mitzi! ❤️
The older I get the more the simple life is appealing to me. I've seen Wingspan at our library! I will have to check it out. We love games. Is it something you have to have more than 2 players to play? I am so glad you enjoyed the MSW book. I loved it too. I enjoy a good reset, I feel one coming at our house as well. Your fountain is so beautiful, totally Mitzi! I love it!
What a beautiful fountain! Yes, the sound of a fountain is calming as is the sound of windchimes. 12 bks. was ALOT to read! Esp. right after the hurricane and ALL it caused! Hats off to you Mitzi! I also live a very simple life. HOWEVER, my life is SOOO simple, it's boring! I feel like I am isolated. I have very bad health, very serious issues. NOT because I abused my body, just seems the path the Lord has chosen for me to glorify Him. No one comes to visit me, not even from my church which I have attended for 27 yrs. Now I can't always attend service because of severe chronic pain. I live alone. I WILL ALWAYS celebrate Victober whether u-tubers do it or not. I have Sipsworth, just haven't read it yet. Might make me cry. I read Jane Eyre for Victober. Had read it in h.s. but didn't like/appreciate it then. O MY!! I gobbled that book up. Had read Wuthering Heights also by Charlotte Bronte when I was 19 I think. One of my all time fave bks; but I think Jane overtook it. I think I like the Brontes better than Jane Austen. Definitely want to read Barchester Towers and some Bradden bks. Thanks Mitzi and Bless your heart! Hope you and family don't ever have to go through another hurricane! Wise what your son said. 🤗 Eileen. Rev. 21:4
This week I was at a memorial service for my ex- son- in- law who passed away on Nov. 2 and this Saturday I will be going to my daughters wedding. Then Sunday at church we are going to have Baptism's
❤📚📚❤️ I'm glad you had such a great reading month with all that was going on after the hurricane and that you made it safely through it all. Grand babies are just the best. I love being MiMi to mine. However, mine range from 21 to 3 now, and I think "baby" days are over, unfortunately. Enjoy every moment and enjoy the new fountain. I'm reading H is for Hawk by Charlotte Perkins Gilman and World Without End by Ken Follett right now.
I love how excited you get over the little things! I have never heard of Wingspan but it sounds cool and that little fountain is pretty! You had pretty good October.
I like the fountain, Mitzi. But it wasn't what I thought your surprise was going to be.🤣 I am trying to read Wuthering Heights. I don't know whether I should continue or DNF it. It's a hard read for my simple mind.
I am reading Desperados - The Insane True Story of Undercover Missionaries, Counterfeit Rock Starts, & The Music Hoax of the Century by Shane Almgren. Your son would really enjoy this. It's gonna be a movie at some point.
I tried to read Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I didn’t quite finish it. So I failed at victober lol! I struggled with it. I really enjoyed Agnes Grey but not this one. lol!
I agree with the simplicity of life - "less is more"... The fountain is precious. You're making your own sanctuary in your backyard 🪻🌳🐦!!
hey Mitzi!

I know my family would love the Wingspan game! We're big birders. My husband has been trying to make friends with the crows in the back yard:)

Just started uncle Silas! Can’t wait!
I never got to the doctors wife either! I did get the book however… So it is second down on my TBR pile at the moment. Looking forward to it.

Yes, I love Agnes Grey and think it's so underrated!
Does Uncle Silas have a book with a different cover?? I don't think I can look at the girl everyday 😅😅.
I just became a grandma on Sept 1!
Congratulations!! Best gift ever!!
May I ask where about you live? We got hit with the hurricanes too in pinellas county. I'm glad you're safe and got some reading done.
South Carolina, right at the Georgia line
