Euchre is very popular in Mi. Some people form clubs and play once a week.(Like Bridge or Poker). I have 2 original Bobbsey Twins bks. We were not well off when I was young, I became an avid reader in the third grade, lived at the library. I wanted to own a bk. SO BAD! My aunt gave me my first Bobbsey Twins bk. I treasured and treated that book like gold. Maybe that's why some old children's bks. are like that. ??? These videos are so enjoyable😊 Thanks Mitzi🤗
Hi Mitzi, years ago I used to be a beautician and one of my favorite customers said that Steamboat Gothic was her favorite book, and she got it for me for Christmas. There are special memories involved with this book. I was expecting my first child, my daughter. So I see that chair that I read it in! And it was so good! I hope you really enjoy it too! I read it in 1974, ❤😊😊😊
I LOVE Euchre - you and your family will have so much fun playing that! It feels like it's more popular in the midwest but excited for you all to give it a try.
When you opened up the Bobbsey Twis books, I started to cry. It takes me back to my childhood. What precious memories were stirred up. Thanks for sharing!!!
You pronounced Euchre correctly 😊 It is VERY popular up here in the north. At least it is in Wisconsin and Minnesota. So many beautiful books! These videos are the best!
Mitzi, turn the candle over and see if the scent is on the bottom. You said you had just told your husband about the Daphne Daphne du Maurier book last week and then it appears this week...that's what I call "God Winks".
I never read The Bobbsey Twins but the covers are so cute. I must have skipped right past them to Nancy Drew! I played Euchre (they call it You-cur with my friends from Indiana.
Such great books!

Wonderful vintage books. Bobbsey Twins and Boxcar Children were the series I read when I was young.😊. 🎄📚🎄
I had that exact copy of The Bobbsey Twins at the Seashore in about 1959. My heart skipped a beat when you showed the book!🥰
What fantastic books and I don't know that game either but we love board games, and card games in my family! I just love your enthusiasm
Oh my goodness, my son gave us another board game and we're playing it nonstop! The board games are such a great activity for families!!
Too fun! 📚
I love the Bobbsey Twins too
